  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Broncos' Drew Lock: Big day in losing effort

Lock completed 25 of 41 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 32-31 loss to the Raiders.

He also added seven rushing yards on two carries. Lock set a new season high in passing yards in the season's final game and avoiding committing a turnover for the first time since Week 1, but his overall numbers on the campaign were still mediocre at best as he finished with a completion rate of under 60 percent, a 6.8 YPA and a 16:15 TD:INT through 13 games. With the Broncos holding the ninth overall pick in what is shaping up to be a loaded quarterback draft class in 2021, Lock may have missed his opportunity to establish himself as the team's QB of the future.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Clutch in crunch time

Wilson completed 20 of 36 pass attempts for 181 yards and two touchdowns, adding 29 yards on five rushing attempts in Sunday's 26-23 win over the 49ers.

Wilson was held in check for the first three quarters of action by a varied defense called by 49ers' defensive coordinator (and popular head coach candidate) Robert Saleh, but "Mr. Unlimited" was finally able to break through with 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead his team to victory. The 31-year-old fell seven yards shy of the career-high 4,219 passing yards he threw back in 2016. Unlike that season, Wilson put himself firmly in the MVP conversation with a new high water mark of 40 passing touchdowns (to 13 interceptions) to go along with 513 rushing yards and two more scores. Wilson continues to be the true definition of a dual-threat quarterback with his incredible accuracy at all three levels, plus arm strength and the ability to use his legs as a weapon. He will begin the 2021 fantasy season as an elite option with a high floor and high ceiling, but first, he will have to take on the Rams in the first round of the playoffs Sunday.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

Chargers' Justin Herbert: Caps record-setting rookie year

Herbert completed 22 of 31 pass attempts for 302 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 38-21 win over the Chiefs. He also carried the ball six times for nine yards and an additional score.

Herbert ends the season with NFL rookie records for most passing touchdowns (31), most total touchdowns (36), most completions (396), most 300-yard games (eight) and most games with multiple passing touchdowns (10). He was also 39 yards shy of setting the single-season record for most passing yards by a rookie. Those accolades become all the more impressive when considering the 22-year-old started only 15 games, losing out the training-camp battle to veteran Tyrod Taylor before an unfortunate medical accident pressed the rookie into action. The main question to be answered in 2021 will be if Herbert can continue this type of production with a new coordinator and head coach, or if the Chargers will opt to bring back Anthony Lynn for one more season despite numerous strategical gaffes during his tenure in that role. Whatever does end up happening on the coaching side of things, it's clear Herbert has cemented himself as one of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Big effort in Week 17

Carr completed 24 of 38 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 32-31 win over the Broncos.

The 29-year-old finished the season on a very impressive run, topping 300 yards in four of his last five starts (and not getting a chance to reach the mark in the fifth due to a second-quarter groin injury). Carr compiled his third consecutive 4,000-yard campaign as a result while setting a new career high with 4,103, and while the Raiders could get out of the final two seasons on his current contract fairly easily, his big final month makes it almost certain he'll be back under center for Las Vegas in 2021.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Another big game wasted

Watson completed 28 of 39 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 41-38 loss to the Titans. He added 12 rushing yards on three carries.

The fourth-year QB once again put together a heroic effort that ended up going for naught due to Houston's woeful defense. Watson finished his best-yet campaign with career highs in passing yards (4,823), passing TDs (33), completion rate (70.2 percent) and YPA (8.9) plus a career low in INTs (seven). He'll now wait to see who his new head coach and offensive coordinator will be in 2021, and whether the incoming braintrust will be able to assemble a better roster around him.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Does damage on ground in win

Tannehill completed 18 of 27 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown and gained 38 rushing yards and two TDs on seven carries in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans.

The Titans took full advantage of a matchup against one of the league's softest run defenses, with Tannehill equaling Derrick Henry in trips to the end zone. The quarterback wraps up the regular season with a career-high seven rushing TDs -- five of them coming in the last three games -- in addition to his career-best 33 passing TDs. Tannehill will now prepare for a duel with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens next Sunday in the wild-card round.

  • John Wolford QB | MIN

Rams' John Wolford: Pushes team to postseason dance

Wolford completed 22 of 38 pass attempts for 231 yards and one interception, adding six carries for 56 rushing yards during Sunday's 18-7 win against the Cardinals.

With Jared Goff (thumb) ruled out for the first time since 2017, Wolford got the Week 17 start as Los Angeles had an opportunity to play its way into the postseason via a win or tie. An interception on the Rams' opening offensive drive was concerning from the former AAF standout, but Wolford rallied into form by remaining without a giveaway for the rest of the contest. It was a defensive slugfest Sunday as Arizona dealt with an injury to its starting quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle), but Wolford did enough to push his side to a wild-card matchup next weekend at Seattle. Were Goff to be deemed unavailable for the opening round, Wolford would seemingly be in line for another start given his winning performance against the Cardinals.

  • Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN

Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Fails to find end zone

Trubisky completed 33 of 42 passes for 252 yards and an interception while adding four rushes for 22 yards in Chicago's 35-16 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Trubisky threw mostly short passes while being used primarily as a game manager, and the Bears were able to find the end zone only a single time, resulting in a disappointing fantasy performance. On the season, Trubisky played in 10 games, passing for 2,055 yards along with 16 touchdowns against eight interceptions, and once Chicago finishes its playoff run, he's set to be an unrestricted free agent.

  • Panthers' Teddy Bridgewater: Hurts ankle in finale

Bridgewater was replaced by P.J. Walker in Sunday's season-ending 33-7 loss to New Orleans, and coach Matt Rhule revealed after the game that Bridgewater's exit was due to an ankle injury, Bill Voth of the Panthers' official site reports. Prior to his exit, Bridgewater completed 13 of 23 passes for 176 yards and two interceptions while adding seven yards on three rushing attempts.

Bridgewater played poorly prior his removal and Walker was even worse, completing just five of 14 passes with three interceptions. With a 1:3 TD:INT over the final four weeks, Bridgewater struggled down the stretch of his first season with the Panthers, but his contract from last offseason figures to ensure he's in Carolina for at least another year, whether as starter, backup or a bridge quarterback to a potential draft pick. Overall, the 28-year-old finishes the year with 3,733 passing yards, 15 touchdowns versus 11 interceptions and five rushing scores in 15 games.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Retakes field, but held scoreless

Murray (ankle) completed eight of 11 passes for 87 yards while rushing for three yards on a pair of carries during Sunday's 18-7 loss to the Rams.

Murray had to exit Sunday's contest after absorbing a sack from Los Angeles' Morgan Fox on the opening drive, and he didn't retake the field until the 14:21 mark of the fourth quarter. Powering through his ankle injury, the first-time Pro Bowler demonstrated toughness in attempting to lead his team back in a must-win situation. Murray and the Cardinals' offense couldn't muster any scores over his final two drives, however, with the team's only trip inside Los Angeles' 40-yard line resulting in a blocked field-goal attempt. Arizona bows out of the season with an 8-8 record and no playoff appearance, while Murray boasted a 26:12 TD:INT with 3,971 passing yards. The 23-year-old's 819 rushing yards and 11 rushing scores stand as elite totals among quarterbacks as he enters his third year under contract with the Cardinals in 2021.
