  • 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Suffers second loss in three weeks

Garoppolo completed 22 of 34 pass attempts for 200 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 29-22 loss to Atlanta. He also registered six rushing yards on two carries.

Garoppolo and the 49ers dropped a second game in three weeks, this time in an upset defeat to the Falcons. The 28-year-old quarterback has been contained to 200 or fewer passing yards in two of his past three outings, with the 49ers being held under 23 points during each of those instances. In Garoppolo's other 12 appearances thus far in 2019, San Francisco has been held under 23 points on just two occasions, and he is averaging 240 passing yards per game. Garoppolo is liable to piece together an impressive stat sheet any given Sunday, but his odds are less than favorable with a Week 16 matchup against the Rams' top-10 pass defense awaiting on the docket.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Rams' Jared Goff: Salvages day in garbage time

Goff completed 33 of 51 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 44-21 loss to the Cowboys.

The quarterback was frankly awful to begin the game, consistently under or overthrowing his targets as the Rams fell into a 28-7 hole heading into halftime, but Goff was able to pile up some yards and an extra TD in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. He also banged his thumb on a helmet in the second quarter and appeared to be in some pain, but he stayed in the game and the issue didn't seem to make his accuracy any worse. Goff has tossed multiple TDs in three straight games and now sits only four yards shy of his second straight 4,000-yard campaign, but with the team all but eliminated from the postseason with this loss, personal milestones and the chance to play spoiler are all he has to play for in next Saturday's road clash with the 49ers.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Goes cold in second half

Carr completed 22 of 36 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Jaguars.

The Raiders seemed to have things well in hand when they took a 16-3 lead into halftime, but Carr couldn't get anything going in the second half as the team ultimately lost its final game in Oakland. The passing yards were actually his highest total since Week 11, and Carr could struggle to be even that productive in next Sunday's road game against a Chargers' defense that held him to 218 yards and one TD in their prior meeting this season.

  • Jaguars' Gardner Minshew: Leads comeback win in Oakland

Minshew completed 17 of 29 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Raiders. He also gained 27 rushing yards on five carries.

The Jaguars didn't score a TD through the first three quarters, but Minshew played hero by finding Chris Conley twice in the end zone over the final 5:15 to rally the club from a 16-6 deficit. While the rookie QB hasn't been particularly sharp since regaining the starting job, he does have a 3:0 TD:INT over the last two games. Minshew and the Jacksonville passing game get a favorable matchup in Week 16 on the road against the Falcons.

  • Browns' Baker Mayfield: Inconsistent against Arizona

Mayfield completed 30 of 43 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Cardinals.

Mayfield started off well, marching the Browns into the red zone, but then overthrew Odell Beckham for an interception in the end zone to close Cleveland's first drive. From there, Mayfield continued his inconsistent play, though he at least tossed a couple touchdowns during the second half. Although both of those went to tight end Ricky Seals-Jones from within two yards, Mayfield salvaged some production in an otherwise uninspiring outing. Next up for the signal-caller is a home matchup against a Ravens defense that's significantly improved since surrendering Mayfield's season high of 342 passing yards in Week 4.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Tosses touchdown in win

Murray completed 19 of 25 passes for 219 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 38-24 win over the Browns. He also rushed eight times for 56 yards.

Murray rebounded well from last week's three-interception outing, getting Arizona out to a 14-0 lead early on. Although he subsequently threw an interception, the rookie responded with a six-yard touchdown pass to cap his next drive. Murray's wheels were also on display Sunday as he ripped off a season-long 35-yard rush during the first half. Overall, it was a solid bounce-back effort, but Murray's final two matchups -- at the Seahawks and at the Rams -- could pose a challenge to close the campaign.

  • Kyle Allen QB | BUF

Panthers' Kyle Allen: Commits three turnovers in loss

Allen completed 25 of 41 pass attempts for 277 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions Sunday against the Seahawks. He also gained 25 yards on five carries in the 30-24 loss.

Allen's continued turnover problems led to speculation throughout the week that he could be removed from his starting role, but he was given another opportunity against Seattle's beatable pass defense. His issues continued, however, as he threw one interception in the first half before turning the ball over on back-to-back drives in the second half. Allen did complete a late touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel, but it was too little too late. The rookie now has 10 interceptions in five starts this season, and it remains to be seen if the team will make a change ahead of next Sunday's game against the Colts.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Broncos' Drew Lock: Struggles in homecoming

Lock completed 18 of 40 passes for 208 yards and an interception during Sunday's 23-3 loss in Kansas City. He added three yards on two carries.

Lock's return to Missouri wasn't particularly welcoming as snow covered the field and the Chiefs' pass rush routinely got to the rookie passer before he was able to find an open target. The Missouri product had a nice 43-yard pass to fellow rookie Noah Fant to convert a second-quarter fourth-and-short, but Denver's receivers were otherwise unable to get open downfield before Lock was swarmed. That pressure led to Lock throwing a very ill-advised cross-field interception in the red zone in the third quarter. Lock has been good for a boneheaded play or two in each of his first three starts, but he's also shown flashes of promise in each. He probably isn't worth placing on your radar yet, but he does get a much better matchup Sunday at home against the Lions.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Held in check vs. Bears

Rodgers completed 16 of 33 pass attempts for 203 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Bears. He also gained 23 yards on three carries in the 21-13 win.

Rodgers struggled mightily as he completed less than half his passes and averaged 6.2 yards per attempt. He connected early and often with Davante Adams, striking gold on a 29-yard touchdown connection in the first quarter, but the veteran quarterback played the role of game manager for much of the afternoon. This poor effort comes on the heels of a similar performance last week, and Rodgers has now failed to top the 250-yard mark in six straight games. The Vikings have been vulnerable in the secondary of late, so Rodgers could have a chance to bounce back in next Monday's matchup.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Throws four picks in loss

Dalton completed 17 of 31 passes for 151 yards, a touchdown and four interceptions during Sunday's 34-13 loss to the Patriots.

Dalton kept pace with the Patriots early in the first quarter, tossing a quick eight-yard strike to Cethan Carter to respond to New England's game-opening touchdown. Dalton then led a field-goal drive that gave Cincinnati a brief lead. It was downhill from there as he proceeded to throw three interceptions during his first four drives of the second half and four overall, including a grisly 64-yard pick six to Stephon Gilmore. The veteran passer has just two touchdowns and five interceptions in three-games since returning to the starting lineup. Next week's matchup against the Dolphins will have draft-position implications that may help determine the heir apparent to Dalton in Cincinnati.
