Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Cardinals' Sam Bradford: Struggles against Washington
Bradford completed 20 of 34 pass attempts for 153 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 24-6 loss to Washington.
Bradford passed for just 11 yards in the first half, while leading the offense to a measly two first downs. It didn't get much better in the second half, as the Cardinals did not score until late in the fourth quarter on a David Johnson touchdown run. On the bright side, Bradford showed a strong connection with Larry Fitzgerald, as the duo hooked up seven times for 76 yards. The veteran quarterback probably won't find things easier Week 2 with the Rams on the schedule.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Needs testing for elbow injury
Coach Mike Vrabel said Mariota's elbow injury will require further evaluation, Erik Bacharach of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
Mariota was removed from Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Dolphins late in the third quarter, finishing with 103 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions on 16 pass attempts. Backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert wasn't much better, completing 11 of 22 passes for 117 yards with no touchdowns and a pick. Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville noticed Mariota pointing to the inside of his throwing elbow while chatting with a member of the Miami coaching staff at the conclusion of Sunday's contest. Per TitansOnline.com, Mariota said he lost feeling in his fingers and hand, which made it difficult to grip the football.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Struggles in loss to Panthers
Prescott completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 170 yards and one interception during Sunday's 16-8 loss to the Panthers. He also carried five times for 19 yards.
Prescott connected regularly with Cole Beasley, but he didn't appear to be on the same page as his other pass catchers and finished with one of the lowest yardage totals of his NFL career. He had a few opportunities to make plays with his legs but appeared indecisive at times and didn't make much of in impact in that regard. Although Prescott faced a difficult road matchup to begin the season, he did little to inspire much confidence from those who were worried the Cowboys' turnover at the skill positions would affect his fantasy value. He'll look to put on a better performance next week against the Giants.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Connects with Stills for two scores
Tannehill completed 20 of 28 passes for 230 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while also running four times for five yards in Sunday's 27-20, Week 1 win over the Titans.
Both of Tannehill's touchdowns went to Kenny Stills. The first was a 10-yarder in the second quarter while the second was a 75-yard deep strike in the fourth. While thunderstorms delayed this contest into the night, Tannehill showed a great ability to stay focused and lead his team to victory. The Dolphins defense also bailed its quarterback out after his mistakes, as each of Tannehill's interceptions was followed by a Miami interception on the ensuing drive.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Chased often against Broncos
Wilson completed 19 of 33 passes for 298 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Broncos. He also rushed twice for five yards.
On the team's second drive, Wilson was gifted good field position when Earl Thomas returned an interception to the Broncos' 15-yard line. Wilson subsequently threw a touchdown to rookie tight end Will Dissly for the first points of the contest. Wilson lost Doug Baldwin to a knee injury later in the first half, but he found new-arrival Brandon Marshall for a 20-yard score midway through the third quarter. He then started the fourth quarter with a 51-yard bomb to Tyler Lockett to take the lead. After Lockett's score, however, the Seahawks had three drives to take the lead but totaled just three yards, coming up short. The Seahawks' offensive line hung Wilson out to dry often, as he was sacked six times for a loss of 57 yards. He'll face another tough pass rush Week 2 against the Bears.
-
Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Throws four touchdowns against Chargers
Mahomes completed 15 of 27 pass attempts for 256 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 38-28 win over the Chargers. He also had five carries for 21 yards.
Expectations are high for Mahomes from a real life and fantasy perspective, and at least for one week, he delivered in a big way. He hooked up with speedster Tyreek Hill early and often, as the duo connected seven times for 169 yards and two touchdowns. About the only negative from Mahomes' fantasy performance was that he was not able to get star tight end Travis Kelce involved (just one catch on six targets for six yards), although one wouldn't expect that to be any sort of trend. The young quarterback will take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh next week.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Exits with elbow injury
Mariota was removed from Sunday's game against the Dolphins with an elbow injury and is questionable to return, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
Mariota had a rough afternoon prior to the injury, tossing a pair of interceptions on 16 pass attempts. Blaine Gabbert took over at quarterback with the Titans down 10-3 late in the third quarter.
-
Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Texans' Deshaun Watson: Turns ball over twice
Watson completed 17 of 34 yards for 176 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He added 40 yards and a fumble on eight carries during Sunday's 27-20 loss to New England. He briefly left the game with cramping, Sarah Bishop of ESPN reports.
Last we saw Watson in regular-season action, he looked like something out of a video game. He looked like he was experiencing a few glitches to start Week 1. He was charged with a fumble on Houston's first drive and took a deep shot into double coverage in the second quarter, leading to a pick in the end zone. He rebounded to make the game interesting late and alleviated some concerns about his health by showing some of his trademark athleticism. He still shows plenty of promise, but Week 1 proved that it won't be all roses like last season.
-
Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bengals' Andy Dalton: Throws two scores in Week 1 win
Dalton completed 21 of 28 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while adding two carries for eight yards in Sunday's season-opening, 34-23 win over the Colts.
Dalton bounced back nicely after getting picked off on his first throw of the season. He connected with John Ross for a three-yard score late in the second quarter, then orchestrated a second-half comeback from a 23-10 deficit, including a 38-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green. The Dalton-Green connection has long propped up the quarterback's fantasy value, and Ross is starting to emerge as an additional weapon after failing to record a catch in his rookie season.
-
Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Browns' Tyrod Taylor: Makes impact on ground Sunday
Taylor completed 15 of 39 passes for 197 yards with a touchdown and an interception during Sunday's 21-21 tie with the Steelers. He also rushed for a team-high 77 yards and a score on eight carries.
The weather in Cleveland wasn't ideal, as it rained for the majority of the contest, stifling both teams' offenses and contributing to Taylor's low percentage of completed passes. He did, however, make a significant impact with his feet and also found Josh Gordon for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Additionally, the veteran quarterback and Jarvis Landry showed a strong rapport in their first game together, connecting seven times for 106 yards on a whopping 15 targets. Taylor will look to exploit a Saints defense in Week 2 that just allowed 48 points to the Ryan Fitzpatrick-led Buccaneers.
