  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Produces two TDs in big win

Mariota completed 15 of 21 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-24 win over the Raiders. He added 40 rushing yards and a TD on six carries.

He did lose a fumble, but otherwise Mariota has a very efficient performance under center in place of Jayden Daniels (knee). Mariota opened the scoring by running in a two-yard TD on the Commanders' first possession, then he iced the big win by connecting with Luke McCaffrey on a 43-yard catch-and-run late in the fourth quarter. Daniels may miss only the one game, but if Mariota is helming the offense again in Week 4, he'll be facing a Falcons defense stinging from a 30-0 loss to the Panthers.

  • Geno Smith QB | LV

Raiders' Geno Smith: Tosses three TDs in Sunday's loss

Smith completed 19 of 29 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders. He added five rushing yards on two carries.

All three TDs went to Tre Tucker, as the duo connected on 10-yard scores in the second and fourth quarters before Smith found his speedy wideout for a 61-yard strike late in the game as the Raiders tried to mount a comeback. It was a strong bounce-back performance from Smith after he got picked off three times by the Chargers in Week 2, but the result was the same for Las Vegas. Smith will try to guide his team back into the win column in Week 4 against an injury-ravaged Bears defense.

  • Drake Maye QB | NE

Patriots' Drake Maye: Throws two scores in Week 3 loss

Maye completed 28 of 37 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers. He added 45 rushing yards on seven carries.

The second-year QB found Hunter Henry for scores in the second and fourth quarters, but the rest of the Patriots' offense struggled on the afternoon, especially on the ground -- Maye led the team in rushing yards, and RBs Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson combined to lose three fumbles. Maye has a 5:2 TD:INT through three games to begin his sophomore season, but in Week 4 he faces a Panthers defense that surprisingly just shut out the Falcons and fellow 2024 first-round pick Michael Penix.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Tosses two TDs in win

Rodgers completed 16 of 23 passes for 139 and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Patriots. He added one rushing yard on four carries.

The veteran QB hit DK Metcalf for a 12-yard score in the second quarter and Calvin Austin with a game-winning 17-yarder with just over two minutes left in the fourth. Rodgers' first touchdown of the afternoon also moved him past Brett Favre into fourth place on the NFL's all-time list, and he finished the game with 510 -- putting him 29 behind Peyton Manning for third place. Rodgers has a 7:3 TD:INT through his first three games as a Steeler, but he faces a tough test in Week 4 in Ireland against the Vikings.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Bears' Case Keenum: Emergency QB for Week 3

Keenum (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com, Keenum will serve as the Bears' emergency third quarterback behind Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent. That means Keenum is prohibited from playing Sunday unless Williams and Bagent are both removed due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Sam Ehlinger QB | DEN

Broncos' Sam Ehlinger: Set for emergency QB role

Ehlinger (coach's decision) is inactive and serving as the Broncos' emergency third quarterback for Sunday's Week 3 contest against the Chargers.

Ehlinger also served as Denver's emergency third QB in both Week 1 and Week 2. He can enter Sunday's game only if both Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham become sidelined due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Mac Jones QB | SF

49ers' Mac Jones: Another spot start in place of Purdy

Jones will start Sunday's game against the Cardinals after the 49ers ruled out Brock Purdy (left shoulder/toe).

Purdy did everything in his power to be available to the 49ers offense after missing just one game due to a turf toe variant and also an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. Having said that, his absence will extend to two contests, setting Jones up for another spot start under center. Working in place of Purdy last Sunday at New Orleans, Jones led San Francisco to a 26-21 win while completing 26 of 39 passes for 279 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, rushing six times for six yards and fumbling twice (one lost).

  • Brock Purdy QB | SF

49ers' Brock Purdy: Officially out for Week 3

The 49ers downgraded Purdy (toe/shoulder) from questionable to out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Though Purdy was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and is progressing more quickly than the 49ers anticipated in his recovery from turf toe as well as an AC joint sprain of his non-throwing shoulder, he'll end up missing a second straight game. Mac Jones will be in line for another start Sunday, but the 49ers have optimism that Purdy could be ready to return to the lineup for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Jaguars.

  • Rams' Stetson Bennett: Emergency QB for Week 3

Bennett (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Rams' emergency third quarterback against the Eagles on Sunday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Bennett will be the Rams' emergency quarterback for the first time this season. That means he'll be allowed to see the field Sunday only in the event that Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo are both removed from the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | ATL

Falcons' Kirk Cousins: League-wide interest low

The Falcons haven't received any trade inquiries on Cousins over the past week, despite a number of teams dealing with injuries at quarterback, Jay Glazer reported on "Fox NFL Sunday."

The Falcons are willing to trade Cousins, but they also didn't put anything on tape with him this preseason to demonstrate that he has fully recovered from the injuries that ultimately contributed to him being benched during the 2024 season. He'll continue to serve as Michael Penix's top backup until a potential trade suitor emerges as the season unfolds.
