  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Tosses career-high 373 passing yards in loss

Wilson completed 29 of 49 passes for 373 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's 33-27 loss to Tennessee. He also rushed for 26 yards.

While it took time for the Seattle offense to begin clicking Sunday, and Wilson's final numbers likely weren't indicative of his real-world performance, it was a huge fantasy output. The 373 passing yards were a career high, so after throwing for just 356 yards and a single touchdown through the first two games of the year, it was reassuring for fantasy owners to see Wilson shine. The porous Seattle offensive line is still a concern heading into Week 4, but facing the Colts at home projects as a great matchup for Wilson's fantasy upside.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Guides Packers to OT victory

Rodgers completed 28 of 42 passes for 313 yards, three touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 27-24 overtime victory over the Bengals.

Injuries along the offensive line slowed Rodgers down at first, but the two-time league MVP ultimately rallied his team back from a 21-7 halftime deficit to lift the Packers back atop the NFC North standings. Fantasy owners who invested an early-round pick are surely content with his production so far, as Rodgers has never started a season with three 300-yard games and is on pace to top 5,000 passing yards and 30 scores. On tap is a juicy home matchup against the Bears this Thursday night.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Falls back to earth

Siemian completed 24 of 40 passes for 259 yards and two picks and added 12 rushing yards in Sunday's 26-16 loss to Buffalo.

There were points early during Sunday's game in which it looked like Siemian might be able to feast on rookie corner Tre'Davious White. Then it all unraveled with White and E.J. Gaines both picking off Siemian, the White interception depriving Denver of points during what was looking like a scoring drive. Overall, Denver's offense featured a lot of the same problems seen last year - namely turnovers and having to settle for field goals in the red zone. Siemian, for all the praise he has earned early this season, has sported five turnovers in just three games. He'll need to improve significantly if Denver hopes to beat Oakland next weekend.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Tops 300 yards in losing cause

Watson completed 22 of 33 passes for 301 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding eight rushes for 41 yards in Sunday's 36-33 loss at New England.

Watson came tantalizingly close to being the first rookie quarterback to beat Bill Belichick at Foxborough, but poor time management cost him on the final drive after a New England touchdown put Houston down three with 23 seconds to play. He threaded the needle in between two defenders to give his team a 10-7 first-quarter lead with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Bruce Ellington, but set up a New England score with a costly interception on his next drive. Despite ultimately coming up short, Watson bounced back beautifully with a strong second half to top 300 passing yards for the first time while adding a 12-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Griffin. The 12th overall pick out of Clemson has injected life into Houston's offense while cementing himself as the starter under center.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Tosses touchdown in loss

Stafford completed 25 of 45 passes for 264 yards and a touchdown while adding 19 yards on the ground in Sunday's 30-26 loss to Atlanta.

Stafford was bottled up for much of Sunday's game, forced underneath with the exception of a pair of shots downfield to T.J. Jones. The Lions were unable to put up an offensive touchdown until late in the third quarter. While he was devastatingly close to ending the game with another scoring strike to Golden Tate, the play ended up coming up just short. Sunday's result aside, Stafford is on pace surpass his career average in completion percentage while setting marks career marks in touchdown:interception ratio. He gets another tough matchup next week, however, against a vaunted Minnesota defense.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

    Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Efficient Sunday

Taylor completed 20 of 26 passes for 213 yards in Buffalo's win over the Broncos on Sunday. He threw two touchdown passes and no interceptions while rushing for 13 yards, and was sacked four times.

That's about as much as you can expect for a fantasy QB playing against the Denver defense, especially once you consider the Buffalo offense didn't score a touchdown last week in Carolina. The Bills don't have enough weapons in the passing game to make Taylor a weekly threat for huge production, but he also doesn't get enough credit for his accuracy and turnover-free ways, while his yardage on the ground sometimes make up for his low passing yardage totals.

  • Taylor Heinicke: Joins Patriots' practice squad

Heinicke has been signed to the Patriots' practice squad, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

Heinicke gives the team some QB depth following the trade of Jacoby Brissett to the Colts. He's obviously behind Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo on the organization's depth chart, but now that he's with the practice squad, Heinicke can prep for backup duty in the event that one of his counterparts suffers an injury.

  • Colts' Jacoby Brissett: Throws first passing touchdown while running in two

Brissett completed 17 of 24 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown while adding 14 yards and two touchdowns on five rushes in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Browns.

Brissett called his own number on 3rd-and-goal from the 5-yard line to open the scoring late in the first quarter and scored again with his legs after spinning away from a defender on a seven-yard touchdown during the next drive. He later added his first career passing touchdown, hitting T.Y. Hilton for a 61-yard score to finish the first half over 200 passing yards. Things slowed down with Indianapolis sitting on a large lead for most of the second half, but Brissett still did enough to make fantasy owners happy. He'll have a much tougher matchup on Sunday Night Football in Seattle next week.

  • Ryan Nassib QB | JAC

Jaguars' Ryan Nassib: Inactive for Week 3

Nassib (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday for the Jaguars' Week 3 matchup with the Ravens, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.

The Jaguars inked Nassib earlier in the week as a third quarterback, with his connection to coach Doug Marrone from the duo's Syracuse days likely factoring heavily into the signal caller's signing. Nassib could get a look at some point later this season in the event Blake Bortles' inconsistent ways prompt Marrone to go in a different direction under center, but for the time being, it looks like Nassib will be inactive when both Bortles and top backup Chad Henne are healthy.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Vikings' Sam Bradford: Dr. Andrews confirms no structural damage

Bradford did not suffer any structural damage to his injured left knee, and he remains week-to-week after a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews confirmed the injury is a bone bruise, NFL.com reports.

Bradford was able to participate in limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, though he wasn't close to getting himself ready for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, which means Case Keenum will start again. It's certainly good news that Bradford didn't suffer a more serious injury, though he also doesn't appear to be that close to returning.
