Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Throws touchdown against Jaguars
Carr completed 23 of 37 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Jacksonville.
Carr was quiet for much of the game, his 5.4 yards per attempt representing a season low despite the benefit of a 56-yard connection with Michael Crabtree. Carr deserves all the star-in-the-making accolades he has received - owning an impressive 13:3 touchdown:interception ratio on a team that was long quarterback-starved - but he's produced numerous mediocre performances already this season. Sunday was the third time in seven games that Carr has failed to top 250 yards or throw for more than one touchdown in a game. After a so-so effort against an underrated Jacksonville pass defense, Carr's next test will be against a shaky Tampa Bay squad.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Two total touchdowns in Miami
Taylor completed 14 of 28 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown, and added seven carries for 35 yards and a rushing score in Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Dolphins.
Taylor scored the lone first-half touchdown on a 10-yard carry, and connected with big-play receiver Marquise Goodwin on a 67-yard deep ball for his passing score. He finished as the team's leading rusher with running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) exiting in the second half. Taylor has accrued a solid 9:2 touchdown to interception ratio through the air while rushing for two more scores for Buffalo's run-first offense, but could be relied upon more next week against the Patriots with McCoy's status in question.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Jets' Geno Smith: Will have MRI on injured knee
Smith will have an MRI on his knee after getting knocked out of Sunday's game against the Ravens, according to Kimberley Martin of Newsday.
Smith, who completed four of eight passes for 95 yards and a touchdown, was forced out in the second quarter after suffering the injury while getting tackled. Ryan Fitzpatrick played fairly well, completing nine of 14 passes for 120 yards and a score, and Jets head coach Todd Bowles said he is unsure who will start when Smith is healthy again.

Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Vikings' Sam Bradford: Three turnovers in loss to Eagles
Bradford completed 24 of 41 pass attempts for 224 yards, one touchdown and one interception Sunday against the Eagles. He also lost a pair of fumbles in the 21-10 defeat.
Bradford had yet to turn the ball over this season, but struggled in his return to Philadelphia, tossing a crucial interception in the end zone and fumbling twice in the opposition's territory. This sloppy performance on Bradford's part coincided with his team's first loss of the season, and he will need to return to his mistake-free ways in order to allow his defense to continue carrying the load. He will face a more favorable matchup in Week 8 against the Bears.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Orchestrates third consecutive game-winning drive
Stafford completed 18 of 29 pass attempts for 266 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 victory over the Redskins, adding an additional 32 yards on two carries.
Stafford orchestrated his third consecutive game-winning drive Sunday, capping this one off with a 18-yard touchdown strike to veteran Anquan Boldin. Before that final possession, though, Stafford had only accounted for 205 yards passing, 18 yards rushing, and zero touchdowns. Looking at the bigger picture, the signal-caller has now thrown for three-plus touchdowns or one (or less) in every game this season, evidencing Stafford's erratic production regardless of his team's real-life success. He'll now have to leave the familiar confines of Ford Field to take on the Texans' second-ranked passing defense in Week 8.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Rams' Case Keenum: Four interceptions Sunday in loss to Giants
Keenum completed 32 of 53 passes for 291 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions during Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Giants.
Keenum recorded his second-highest yardage output of the season, but his inability to take care of the ball cost his team the game. He threw a pick-six to Landon Collins in the second quarter and threw interceptions on each of his last three drives as his team tried to move the ball in a one-score game. Keenum now has an 8:10 TD:INT ratio, and with the team on a three-game losing streak, there could be some questions to answer during the upcoming bye week.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Jets' Geno Smith: Leaves game with knee injury
Smith was forced out of Sunday's game against the Ravens with a knee injury.
Prior to his exit, Smith, who was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick, Smith had completed four of eight passes for 95 yards and a TD and rushed once for seven yards.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Expected out 8 weeks
Hoyer (forearm) is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks, ESPN reports.
Hoyer could still be placed on injured reserve, but the Bears will apparently stand pat for the time being. Meanwhile, head coach John Fox declared Jay Cutler (thumb) -- who hasn't played since Week 2 -- will instantly return in a starting role once healthy, as rookie Matt Barkley is currently Chicago's only healthy quarterback and threw two interceptions in relief of Hoyer during Thursday's game against the Packers. Look for the team to sign an additional signal caller if Cutler is unavailable for Week 8.
-
Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: No injury designation anymore
Garoppolo does not have a designation on Friday's final injury report for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Garoppolo was limited in Wednesday's practice, but he's since been removed from New England's injury report, indicating that he's put the issue with his right shoulder behind him. While the Patriots will certainly be glad to have Garoppolo fully healthy, he's nothing more than Tom Brady's backup now.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Surgery likely, but not ruled out for season
Hoyer has been diagnosed with a broken radius bone in his left arm and will likely require surgery, but he could return late this season, NFL.com reports.
This report confirms Hoyer's initial diagnosis, and leaves the door open for him to play again in 2016. However, he figures to need several weeks to recover from his injury, and if the Bears place him on injured reserve, he will not be eligible to play again until Week 16 at the earliest. Matt Barkley replaced Hoyer in Thursday's game and is the Bears' de facto starting quarterback for now with Jay Cutler (thumb) banged up, but Cutler will be the favorite to start when healthy, and the team could opt to look outside the organization for quarterback help.
