  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Cools off in upset loss to the Rams

Wilson completed 25 of 41 passes for 289 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Rams. He also ran six times for 39 yards, losing a fumble late in the game.

In rainy and wet conditions, Wilson finally cooled off, throwing his first interception and less than three touchdown passes for the first time since Week 10. His interception came on an ill-advised throw into double coverage, and his second touchdown pass didn't come until 27 seconds left in the game. No matter, his record-setting hot streak (19:0 TD:INT ratio over the previous four games) probably catapulted a lot of fantasy owners deep into the playoffs. If you still need him next week, he'll have a tough matchup at Arizona, which held him to just 14 of 32 pass attempts for 240 yards and one touchdown in the middle of November.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Throws for 301 yards, two touchdowns

Stafford completed 29 of 37 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the 49ers. He added 11 yards on the ground on five carries.

Before the beginning of the season, the talk in Detroit was that fans were about to see the next step in Stafford's development as a more composed, efficient passer. It took the firing of offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, but Lions fans and fantasy owners are beginning to see what was being hyped. Since the bye week, Stafford has tossed 16 touchdown passes and just two picks in seven games. Stafford will close the season against the Chicago Bears, a team that is ninth worst in oppsing quarterback rating this season.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Left leg heavily wrapped after Week 16 loss

Tannehill (leg) was seen with his left leg completely wrapped in the locker room after the Week 16 loss to the Colts, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Tannehill appeared to have been simultaneously hit in the lower leg by both teammate Jordan Cameron and the Colts player he was blocking, Erik Walden, early in the third quarter. The fourth-year quarterback limped off the field in pain after the play, but returned on the Dolphins' next possession and finished the contest without missing any time. Tannehill's status will likely be updated again on Monday.

  • 49ers' Blaine Gabbert: Throws for two scores against Detroit

Gabbert connected on 22 of 33 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Lions. He fumbled during the game.

Sunday represented Gabbert's first game with more than one touchdown pass since his first appearance of the season in Week 9 against Atlanta. Since taking over, Gabbert has accounted for more touchdowns than picks or fumbles in three of six games - or one better than Atlanta's Matt Ryan. That kind of so-so production is unlikely to prevent San Francisco from browsing for other options at quarterback this offseason or provide much confidence heading into Week 17's game against a Rams defense adept at getting after the passer.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Throws for 329 yards, interception in Week 16 victory

Tannehill completed 26 of 38 passes for 329 yards and an interception in Sunday's 18-12 loss to the Colts. He also gained 28 yards on one rush and was sacked six times on the afternoon.

The five-year pro managed his fifth 300-yard passing game of the season, but as was the case in the other four contests, his effort Sunday came in a Miami loss. Tannehill notably managed his best yards-per-attempt figure (8.66) in the last seven games, and did complete a nice deep heave down the left sideline to rookie DeVante Parker in the first half. He was also under significant duress in the pocket throughout the afternoon, making his solid 68.4 completion percentage all the more impressive. Tannehill threw an interception for the first time in four games, and his 12 picks on the season equal the career-low he established last season. Despite the fact that the 27-year-old needs only 142 yards passing in Week 17 versus the Patriots to reach the 4,000-yard mark for the second straight season, Tannehill and the entire Dolphins offense have undeniably underwhelmed throughout the course of the 2015 campaign.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Eagles' Sam Bradford: Passes for 380 yards in loss

Bradford (shoulder) completed 37 of 56 passes for 380 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Washington.

10 different players caught a pass from Bradford, though tight end Zach Ertz was the most prolific, catching 13 of 17 targets for 122 yards, while Jordan Matthews (six catches on eight targets for 104 yards) caught Bradford's only touchdown pass. It was Bradford's second consecutive game with over 360 yards, and he'll look to continue his solid play in Week 17 against the Giants.

  • Colts' Charlie Whitehurst: Replaces injured Hasselbeck

Whitehurst completed nine passes off of 14 pass attempts for 78 yards in Sunday's win over Miami. Whitehurst came in to replace an injured Matt Hasselbeck, who is reportedly not optimistic about playing in Week 17, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.

Whitehurst entered the game late in the second quarter and the Colts offensive approach changed dramatically. With Matt Hasselback under center, Indianapolis dropped back on 16 of 23 plays. Whitehurst, however, dropped back just 14 times on 30 plays. The fact that the Colts were nursing a lead can be cited as a reason for the team's conservative approach, but with their backup quarterback sporting a QB rating of just 50.3 it is hard to blame them. With Week 17 representing a must-win situation for Indianapolis, expect the team to keep their fingers crossed that Hasselbeck or Luck get healthy. Otherwise it will be Whitehurst taking on a Tennessee defense that, surprisingly, entered the week ranked No. 9 against the pass.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans' Brian Hoyer: Will start next Sunday, if clear of concussion

Head coach Bill O'Brien said after Sunday's win at Tennessee that Hoyer will start in Week 17 at Indianapolis, if he clears the concussion protocol, Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official site reports.

Sidelined since suffering a concussion in Week 14 against the Patriots, Hoyer would replace Brandon Weeden, who kept the Texans' playoff hopes alive with 15-of-24 passing for 200 yards and two touchdowns versus the Titans.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Struggles in win over Cowboys

Taylor threw for just 179 yards and an interception while completing 13-of-18 passes Sunday against the Cowboys, but did have 67 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Taylor's 14 carries marked a season high, as he was often flushed out of the pocket due to his receivers' inability to get open. While he turned in an above-average rushing performance, this was Taylor's first game with under 200 yards passing since Week 10. Things don't get any easier next week against a Jets secondary that held the 26-year-old quarterback to 158 passing yards on a season-low 5.9 yards per attempt in their last meeting.
