  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans QB Brian Hoyer has strong showing in Sunday win

Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer completed 24 of 36 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns in a Week 6 win over Jacksonville. He added six yards on five carries.

It was the best statistical outing of the season for the veteran, who has quietly thrown for seven touchdowns and just one interception in his last three games. This strong stretch has solidified Hoyer's status as the starter. His team will host Miami and its middling pass defense in Week 7.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Guides Dolphins to victory with two scores

Tannehill threw for 266 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Titans, adding 14 yards on two carries.

Tannehill and the Dolphins played at a high level in head coach Dan Campbell's debut, demonstrating a balanced attack that featured 29 passes and 32 runs. There is some solid offensive talent on Miami's roster, which could make Tannehill a potential buy-low target following his slow start. The 27-year-old is still shooting himself in the foot with turnovers, though.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals QB Andy Dalton tosses three touchdowns in win

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton completed 22 of 33 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns in keeping his team unbeaten Sunday against Buffalo.

While Dalton's yardage total was lower than his norm, he more than made up for it with scoring strikes to three different receivers. He'll have to take a break from terrorizing defenses next week as the Bengals will be on bye.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Redskins QB Kirk Cousins picked off twice in loss

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 25 of 43 passes for 196 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions Sunday against the Jets.

Cousins started off well, opening the scoring with a short scoring strike to Pierre Garcon in the first quarter, but he struggled for much of the second half, when he strangely didn't throw a single pass to the same target. Cousins has now thrown for under 220 yards in back-to-back weeks and has failed to throw for multiple scores in every game this season. Up next is a Week 7 home game against the Buccaneers.

  • Bills QB E.J. Manuel in, Tyrod Taylor out as Sunday starter

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor is inactive for the Sunday game against the Bengals. E.J. Manuel will start instead.

Manuel gets his first start since Week 4 of last season while also getting his chance to show the football world he's improved from two rocky seasons as a pro. Taylor has far exceeded everyone's expectations through five games.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

    Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Inactive Sunday

Taylor (knee) is officially inactive for the Bills for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

EJ Manuel will get his first start of the season and try to show that he's improved from a rocky first two seasons as the main guy, while it'd be a huge surprise if Taylor loses his starting job when he's ready to return.

Report: Bills QB Tyrod Taylor could return next week

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor could return from his knee injury in Week 7 against the Jaguars, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Taylor is not expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, with EJ Manuel likely drawing the start, but Taylor's sprained PCL will not hold him out long-term. In fact, he is expected to dress Sunday and could play if something happens to Manuel.

Report: Bills QB Tyrod Taylor out for Sunday vs. Bengals

Multiple reports indicate Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) will not play Sunday against the Bengals, Pro Football Talk reports.

EJ Manuel will step in for Taylor, who was a limited participant this week. We'll wait for official word on his status, but Taylor owners should prepare accordingly.

  • Bills QB Tyrod Taylor questionable for Sunday

Bills starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday against Cincinnati, per Mike Rodak of ESPN.

Taylor practiced on a limited basis pretty much all week, though E.J. Manuel received more reps. It looks like this may come to a game-time decision. Fortunately, the Bills play in the first wave of games for those needing to make a decision on Taylor.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor continues to practice

Bills surprisingly productive quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) continued to practice Thursday on a limited basis. E.J. Manuel received the majority of the first-team reps.

While Taylor holds out hope of playing Sunday, Rex Ryan remains cautious. He noted Thursday that "Tyrod is progressing but I'm not comfortable saying he's the starter just yet." Meanwhile Taylor suggests that a decision on his Week 6 availability should arrive by Friday.
