Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins leads the NFL with eight interceptions, with seven coming in the last three games. Coach Jay Gruden told the Washington Post he is not considering turning to third-stringer Colt McCoy.

Washington has dropped four straight entering Week 7 against the Titans.

The Rams declared cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (knee) and Brandon McGee (foot), running back Chase Reynolds (hip), defensive tackle Alex Carrington (knee), offensive lineman Barrett Jones (back), wideout Chris Givens and quarterback Case Keenum inactive for Monday's game against the 49ers.

Givens is a healthy scratch for the second straight game.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who on Sunday became the first Oakland rookie to throw four touchdowns, could have had an even bigger performance against the Chargers. Carr's receivers dropped five of his 34 passes.

"As many balls as I overthrow or miss at practice, I'm never going to be one to rip into somebody," Carr told ESPN.com. "They're professional football players; I don't need to go console them or anything like that. I just go, 'Hey, you're better than that,' and those kinds of things. They already know before I even get to them."

Carr completed 18 of 34 throws for 283 yards with one interception in the 31-28 loss to San Diego. He faces the Cardinals in Week 7.

Vikings quarterback Mike Zimmer expressed optimism Monday for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's future in the NFL following the rookie's three-interception performance during Sunday's 17-3 loss vs. Detroit. Bridgewater was making just his second career start.

"I believe, with all my heart, that Teddy Bridgewater is going to be the franchise quarterback here for a long, long time," Zimmer said, per ESPN. "I believe that the team believes that, too. Guys in the organization, the players, everybody believes this guy will be the future -- and a bright future for this organization. We have to make sure we continue to help him to be successful -- playing, coaching, whatever it is."

Following another disappointing loss Sunday against the Broncos, Jets coach Rex Ryan said quarterback Geno Smith would start again Thursday against the Patriots. On Monday, Ryan had to once again quiet the talk about Michael Vick taking over as the starting quarterback.

"Obviously, you can look at Mike to add different things," Ryan said, per NJ.com. "But I think Geno's the best way to go right now. That's why I'm comfortable saying he'll be our starter."

The Jets are 1-5 to begin the season and are dead last in passing offense, averaging 182.2 passing yards per game. Smith has thrown more interceptions (seven) than touchdowns (six) through six games.

Making a quick return from a sprained knee and ankle, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr turned in the best performance of his rookie season Week 6 against a Chargers defense that had been the talk of the league, lighting it up for four touchdowns.

But he didn't do it alone.

Wide receiver Andre Holmes deserves much of the credit for the performance. Getting extensive playing time again after shining with backup Matt McGloin in the last quarter-plus of Week 4 against the Dolphins, Holmes beat the defense for a 77-yard touchdown in the first quarter and had a 6-yard grab in the back corner of the end zone in the fourth.

Of course, Carr also had a 6-yard touchdown pass to James Jones in the second quarter and a 47-yard touchdown pass to Brice Butler in the third. All four throws were right on the money.

He completed only 18 of 34 passes overall, though, which is cause for concern, but Carr might have enough playmakers in the receiving corps to have some low-end appeal in two-quarterback leagues, particularly if Holmes stays on the field.

Well, that wasn't supposed to happen.

Not after throwing for two touchdowns in each of his first four games, not against a defense that entered the day ranked 18th against the pass and certainly not at home, where he's been at his best since entering the league in 2012. But yes, Russell Wilson let down those Fantasy owners who had just begun to think they could rely on him on an every-week basis, turning in a stinker Week 6 against Dallas.

Wilson is no stranger to stinkers in Fantasy, but in the past, they've come when the Seahawks didn't need anything from him, whether because of their defense or running back Marshawn Lynch. But this time, he just didn't play well, completing half his passes for 126 yards and one interception.

So does this change our assessment of him in Fantasy? Well, maybe I did go a little far with the must-start talk. But I think the Seahawks will need to rely on Wilson more this year than in years past, and I still think that means he'll be more consistent overall. Don't lose faith.

Giants backup quarterback Ryan Nassib finished up Sunday night's 27-0 loss to the Eagles. Although he took two sacks, Nassib completed 4 of 5 passes for 60 yards without a turnover.

He'll go back to the bench for Week 7 at Dallas.

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 24 of his 38 attempts for 354 yards and two touchdowns but also threw three interceptions in his team's 30-20 loss to the Cardinals in Week 6.

Cousins connected with DeSean Jackson for a 64-yard touchdown in the second quarter, with 50 yards coming after the catch as Jackson ran away from his defender. He entered halftime down by one point and still had his team within four points going into the fourth quarter when he fell apart, throwing all three of his interceptions in the final period, with the third being returned for a game-sealing touchdown. Cousins has failed to run away with the job in the wake of the injury to starter Robert Griffin III, as the Redskins have dropped four straight games. He'll attempt to turn things around against the Titans in Week 7.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson saw his brilliant start to the season come to a crashing halt Sunday against the Cowboys. In a surprisingly poor performance at home, Wilson completed 14 of 28 throws for 126 yards and no touchdowns with one interception. He rushed twice for 12 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown.

This was Wilson's worst performance since a Week 16 home loss to Arizona last year. Aside from his 53-yard completion to Jermaine Kearse, Wilson passed for 73 yards on 27 other throws. Wilson averaged 4.5 yards per attempt and posted a 47.6 passer rating.

Wilson scored a rushing touchdown for the second straight week. He'll visit the Rams in Week 7.
