  • Jaguars list expected inactive players

The Jaguars had several players ruled out for Sunday's Week 7 game at home against San Diego by Friday on the official injury report. Wide receivers Ace Sanders (concussion) and Stephen Burton (concussion) are both inactive, as expected for the game. Also inactive are defensive end Jeremy Mincey (concussion) and quarterback Blaine Gabbert (hamstring).

  • Chargers have a couple healthy inactives

The Chargers listed the following players as healthy inactives for the Week 7 game at Jacksonville: Emergency QB Brad Sorensen, defensive back Brandon Taylor and tackle Nick Becton

  • Thad Lewis QB | BAL

Foot can't keep Thad Lewis out

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis dealt with a foot injury during the week in practice, but it was not enough to keep him off the field Sunday. Lewis is active and starting for the Bills in Week 7 against the Dolphins.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Brian Hoyer should be ready by spring

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his torn right anterior cruciate ligament, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. He spent a lot of time in the hospital over the last week as earlier his wife gave birth to the couple's second child.

Hoyer is expected to make a full recovery after his surgery. The QB is expected to be able to participate in organized team activities beginning in May.

"We’re hopeful in the spring that we’ll see him,'' said coach Rob Chudzinski. "Again, I’ll get a little better idea [later]. From my understanding, everything went well with the surgery. Just knowing him, from a rehab standpoint, I know he’s going to do everything he can to get ready."

  • Thad Lewis QB | BAL

Thad Lewis ready to play in Week 7

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis (foot) is listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Week 7 as probable, after making it through the week in practice without trouble.

  • Jaguars release Friday injury report

Wide receivers dominated the Jaguars injury report for Friday. Top wideouts Justin Blackmon (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder) are listed as questionable for Sunday against San Diego while Ace Sanders (concussion) and Stephen Burton (concussion) are out.

Also out are defensive end Jeremy Mincey (concussion) and quarterback Blaine Gabbert (hamstring). Cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle) and safety Johnathan Cyprien (calf) are questionable.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Russell Wilson does early damage to down Cardinals

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson stayed in the pocket more than usual in Week 7 against the Cardinals, but he did more than enough damage with his arm to make up for it.

Wilson was efficient in completing 18 of 29 passes for 235 yards, while tossing a trio of touchdowns. He connected on scores of 31, 15 and 1 yards in the game, the first two of which came during the first half.

He added 30 yards on seven carries, his lowest total since Week 3. The only downside to his game was the pair of fumbles he lost, while putting the ball on the ground three times total. The Seahawks won the game handily, 34-22.

Wilson has completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 1,489 through seven games, with 11 passing touchdowns and four interceptions. He gets extra time off before his next game, set for Monday during Week 8 against the Rams.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Ryan Tannehill looking to take advantage of Bills

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's record against the Bills as a rookie was something of a mixed bag. Based on their track record this season, however, Tannehill could be in line for a decent showing in Week 7 as the Dolphins host the Bills.

The Bills have been victimized quite often by opposing quarterbacks, as they have allowed multiple touchdown passes in five of six games so far. That bodes well for Tannehill, who has been solid, but is still looking for a true breakout game -- he has at least one touchdown in every game this season, but only one game with two.

Unfortunately, though the Bills have been susceptible to the big play, they have forced quite a few of their own. Opposing quarterbacks have turned the ball over 11 times against the Bills.

The Bills rank just 22nd in the league in Fantasy points given up to opposing quarterbacks, at 20.3 per game. Coming back from the by week, Tannehill is no sure thing, but with a few big names on byes in Week 7, he is a decent play for Fantasy purposes.

  • Thad Lewis QB | BAL

Thad Lewis might not shine in encore

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis appears to have shaken off his foot injury, and is in line to start his second game in a row in Week 7 against the Dolphins. After a surprising debut, should Fantasy owners expect another solid performance out of Lewis this Sunday?

Lewis scored three times in Week 6, but he might have a tough time coming up with a solid followup. The Dolphins have allowed multiple touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks just two of five quarterbacks faced this season, and none have come on the ground, where Lewis scored one of his three.

Our trio of experts are not high on the Duke product in his second start, with only one ranking him among the top 24 at quarterbacks for Week 7. Lewis probably only has value as a bye-week or injury replacement for Week 7.
