Jones completed 22 of 37 passes for 190 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Panthers. He added seven rushes for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Jones and the Giants offense got off to a miserable start, as he completed only six of 14 passes for 54 yards with an interception through two quarters. He managed to pick up his performance in the second half, highlighted by lengthy completions of 23 and 19 yards. Jones also found the end zone on a two-yard run midway through the fourth quarter. While he managed to salvage his day, Jones has now failed to throw for a touchdown in four of his last five games and has been held under 200 passing yards on three occasions in that span.

Young completed 15 of 25 passes for 126 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions while adding two rushes for 30 yards in the Panthers' 20-17 overtime win over the Giants in Munich on Sunday.

Young once again carried out a very conservative game plan that saw him average a miniscule 5.0 yards per attempt, but the embattled second-year pro stayed away from any turnovers and mostly rode the coattails of Chuba Hubbard, who put together a career-best effort on the ground. Young hit rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders from five yards out in the first quarter for his one touchdown pass, and the former has clearly shown improvement in his second go-around as the starting quarterback following a mostly disastrous start to his second campaign. Young heads into the Panthers' Week 11 bye with a 4:3 TD:INT over his current three-game tenure in the top job but will face a daunting Week 12 matchup at home against the Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 24.

Allen (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Washington.

Allen will serve as the Steelers' emergency quarterback Sunday. He will only see the field if both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields were to exit due to injury.

Ehlinger (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Buffalo but will serve as Indianapolis' emergency quarterback.

Ehlinger will only see the field Sunday if both Joe Flacco and backup Anthony Richardson are forced out due to injuries. Ehlinger has yet to take a snap during the 2024 regular season.

Dobbs (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Dobbs will be the 49ers' emergency quarterback in Week 10. He'll only see the field Sunday if starter Brock Purdy and backup Brandon Allen are both forced to exit due to injuries.

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs but will operate as Denver's emergency third quarterback.

Wilson won't count against the Broncos' gameday roster limit but will be eligible to play if Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham are injured Sunday. Wilson has not played yet this season.

Lawrence (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

As anticipated, Lawrence will be sidelined for just the second time in his four-year career, paving the way for Mac Jones to make his first start with the Jaguars, while C.J. Beathard serves as the team's backup quarterback. Lawrence was a limited participant in practice all week while tending to an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, an injury he sustained on a run in last week's loss to the Eagles. Though the injury is to Lawrence's non-throwing shoulder, it's considered serious enough to threaten his availability beyond Week 10 and potentially require surgery. For now, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relays the Jaguars' plan is to have Lawrence treat the injury through rest and rehab, but the quarterback could receive further opinions on the matter. The Jaguars play next Sunday in Detroit before heading into a Week 12 bye, so it wouldn't be surprising if Lawrence ended up missing two games due to the injury.

Prescott, who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, will meet with another specialist Monday before a decision is made on whether he'll undergo season-ending surgery to address a partial avulsion of his right hamstring, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Prescott has already sought several medical opinions on his injury, with all having reportedly recommended surgery. He'll meet with one final medical expert Monday, but if the doctor agrees with the previous assessments of his injury, Prescott will undergo surgery Wednesday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. An official recovery timeline wouldn't be provided until surgery is completed, but a procedure of this sort typically entails about a four-month recovery period. Cooper Rush will take over as the Cowboys' starting quarterback in Week 10, and the Cowboys could also deploy certain packages that take advantage of backup Trey Lance's rushing ability.

Jones will start Sunday's game against the Vikings due to Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) being listed as questionable but slated to be inactive for the contest, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

While surgery is considered a possibility for Lawrence, the Jaguars' plan for the time being is to have him treat the injury through rest and rehab. The Jaguars play the Lions in Week 11 before going on bye Week 12, so it may make sense for the team to have Jones start in place of Lawrence for the next two games before reassessing its quarterback situation following the bye week.

Lawrence previously underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in the same shoulder following his junior season at Clemson prior to being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
