Aidan O'Connell QB | LV
Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Mediocre in first start of 2024
O'Connell completed 27 of 40 passes for 227 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers.
O'Connell took over as the Raiders' starting quarterback and faced a tough test against the Pittsburgh defense. He got off to a hot start by leading Las Vegas to a touchdown on the team's opening possession, and he went 4-for-4 for 45 yards while working primarily in short areas of the field. While O'Connell remained accurate throughout the game, he was hesitant to push the ball downfield and had only one completion of more than 20 yards. Assuming he stays under center in Week 7 against the Rams, O'Connell could be a bit more aggressive, though expectations should remain in check.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Steelers' Justin Fields: Saves day with two rushing scores
Fields completed 14 of 24 passes for 145 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 32-13 win over the Raiders. He carried 11 times for 59 yards and two scores.
Fields had another ugly day through the air, as he averaged 6.0 yards per attempt or fewer for the third time in six games and for the second consecutive matchup. He did manage two completions of at least 20 yards, with his longest completion going to George Pickens for 31 yards late in the fourth quarter. While he was plagued by a couple of drops from Pickens during the contest, Fields also had an interception wiped off the board by a roughing the passer call just before halftime. Regardless of the assessment of his work as a passer, Fields got things done from a fantasy perspective thanks to his work on the ground -- highlighted by scores of three and seven yards. There will likely be ongoing speculation about Fields' status as the starter in Pittsburgh now that Russell Wilson is healthy, though it's difficult to imagine the Steelers making a change while having a 4-2 record and being tied for first in the AFC North.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Pulled late in blowout loss
Prescott completed 17 of 33 passes for 178 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 47-9 loss to the Lions. He added one rush for one yard.
Prescott got off to a decent start, leading the Cowboys to a nine-play, 54-yard drive that resulted in a field goal on the team's opening possession. He went 4-for-6 for 46 yards -- and also had a pick called back for defensive holding -- but that was the highlight of his game. From there, he completed only 13 of 27 passes while averaging 4.9 yards per attempt with a pair of interceptions that led directly to 10 points for the Lions. Given the state of the game, Prescott sat most of the fourth quarter and failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. The Cowboys will get a well-timed bye in Week 7.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Panthers' Andy Dalton: Improved results in another loss
Dalton completed 26 of 38 pass attempts for 221 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing three times for 21 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Falcons.
Dalton got the nod under center against the Falcons despite being pulled for poor performance late in last week's loss to the Bears. The 36-year-old showed improved results in Week 6 despite being saddled with another loss. That being said, Dalton's upside for next Sunday's tilt against Washington leaves much to be desired for a player who has thrown four interceptions over the last three weeks.

Justin Herbert QB | LAC
Chargers' Justin Herbert: Season high in passing yards
Herbert completed 21 of his 34 attempts for 237 yards and a touchdown in the 23-16 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
Herbert has had significantly better statistical days, but make no mistake, Sunday was one of the best outings of his career. Despite facing a Broncos secondary that had rightfully earned the reputation as one of the best in the league, the Pro Bowl signal caller was flinging it all around the field throughout the first half while dropping dimes against single coverage and throwing frozen ropes on 15-yard first-down darts. It was even more impressive given Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey both left at various points in the first half, although his top two targets did return during the contest. Herbert tallied a season-high 184 yards in the first half, and with the Chargers up three scores until the fourth quarter, the offense was content sitting on the ball over the course of the final 30 minutes. The 26-year-old could be poised to build off this performance against a Cardinals defense that allowed four passing touchdowns against the Packers in Week 6.

Kirk Cousins QB | LV
Falcons' Kirk Cousins: Efficient in victory Sunday
Cousins completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 225 yards and a touchdown without turning the ball over in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Panthers.
Cousins cruised to victory on the back of impressive rushing performances from Bijan Robinson (15-95-2) and Tyler Allgeier (18-105-1). The Falcons' starting quarterback still produced an efficient passing line with no turnovers for fantasy managers, but this was certainly a step down from Cousins' career day against the Buccaneers in Week 5. The veteran is still worthy of starting considerations in most formats ahead of next Sunday's tilt against Seattle.

Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Welcomes back wideouts in win
Hurts completed 16 of 25 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns. He added 33 rushing yards on 14 carries.
While it wasn't the most efficient effort, Hurts clearly enjoyed having top wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith back in the lineup, as the former caught a 22-yard TD pass in the second quarter and the latter was on the end of a game-sealing 45-yard score in the fourth. It's only the second time in five games this season that Hurts has thrown multiple touchdowns, but it's also only the second time both Brown and Smith have been healthy. Hurts will try to keep his momentum going in Week 7 against the Giants.
-
Jared Goff QB | DET
Lions' Jared Goff: Three touchdowns in win
Goff completed 18 of 25 passes for 315 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 47-9 win over the Cowboys. He added three rushes for five yards.
The Lions played ahead for nearly the entire game, limiting Goff to 25 or fewer pass attempts for the third straight game. However, he overcame that with an exceptionally efficient day, including six completions that went for gains of at least 20 yards. Two of those were touchdowns, highlighted by a 52-yard pass on a trick play to Sam LaPorta early in the second quarter and a 37-yard toss to Jameson Williams one quarter later. Overall, Goff now has multiple touchdowns in three straight contests while averaging at least 8.7 yards per attempt in each. He'll head into a tough test in Week 7 against a Minnesota defense that has allowed the sixth-fewest yards per attempt to opposing quarterbacks.
-
Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Browns' Deshaun Watson: Quiet in loss to Philly
Watson completed 16 of 23 passes for 168 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles. He added 17 rushing yards on four carries.
While the 29-year-old quarterback didn't commit any turnovers and posted a season-high 7.3 yards per attempt, Watson also failed to get the ball into the end zone -- the Browns' lone touchdown on the day came on a return of a blocked field goal. As is becoming routine in Kevin Stefanski's postgame comments, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the head coach said he isn't benching Watson, but with the team now at 1-5 and the QB having failed to throw for 200 yards in any of those contests, he's probably running out of chances to turn his year around. Cleveland is expected to get Nick Chubb (knee) back in Week 7 against the Bengals, which could buy Watson a little more time if the star running back can help boost the performance of the offense.

Bo Nix QB | DEN
Broncos' Bo Nix: Throws two more TDs in loss
Nix completed 19 of 33 of pass attempts for 216 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while rushing six times for 61 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers.
Nix followed up last week's two-score performance with another pair of touchdowns against the Chargers on Sunday. The rookie first-rounder had just one touchdown pass in his first four games with Denver, so his recent ability to finish off drives shows some development as a passer. Nix's ability as a rusher (37-180-3) gives him value as a deep-league option heading into Thursday's matchup against New Orleans.
