  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Seahawks' Drew Lock: Short relief stint Monday

Lock completed two of six passes for 63 yards in Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants. He also rushed once for 11 yards.

Lock closed out the second quarter after Geno Smith left briefly with a knee injury. This was his first regular-season action with the Seahawks. While his completion percentage was ugly, his night featured a short completion to Noah Fant, who raced down the right sideline for a 51-yard pickup. Smith finished the game and should be ready to go following the Seahawks' Week 5 bye, but the situation is worth monitoring in superflex leagues.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Expected to practice Wednesday

Head coach Mike Tomlin said Pickett (knee) is scheduled to practice in some capacity Wednesday, and the Steelers will wait and see how the quarterback fares during the week before deciding on his status for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Joe Rutter of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Tomlin confirmed that Pickett is dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee, an injury that may affect the signal-caller's comfort and mobility in the pocket. The diagnosis is probably a best-case scenario for the second-year quarterback, who was fortunate to avoid ligament damage in this past Sunday's loss to the Texans. Based on Tomlin's comments, Pickett looks poised to open Week 5 prep as a limited practice participant, but the 25-year-old could have a shot at playing this Sunday so long as he's not too compromised. Mitch Trubisky directed the Pittsburgh offense for the fourth quarter of last week's game and would presumably start against the Ravens if Pickett is unable to go.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Avoids serious injury

Head coach Pete Carroll said Smith twisted his knee during Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants, but the injury isn't serious, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Smith didn't appear limited by his injury during the second half of Monday's matchup, and while he may be sore for a few days after the win, he'll have plenty of time to recover with the Seahawks set to enjoy a bye Week 5. The team will undoubtedly monitor its starting quarterback closely over the next two weeks, but he should have a good chance of gaining clearance to play in Seattle's Week 6 road matchup with the Bengals. Smith finished the win over the Giants with 13 completions on 20 attempts for 110 yards and a touchdown.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Another dud on MNF

Jones completed 27 of 34 passes for 203 yards and rushed 10 times for 66 yards in Monday's 24-3 loss to the Seahawks. He was intercepted twice and fumbled twice, losing one.

Jones completed 14 of 17 first-half passes, but he mustered a modest 121 passing yards and lost a fumble as the Giants took a 14-3 deficit into the locker room and remained the only team without a first-half touchdown this season. Things didn't get any better after halftime, as Jones was picked off twice, including a pick-six from Seattle's three-yard line. In fairness to Jones, the offensive line also didn't give him much time, as he was sacked 10 times. Jones fell to 1-12 in prime-time games in his career, including 0-7 on MNF, but he'll have the benefit of a regular 1:00 p.m. Sunday kickoff in Miami as he looks to bounce back Week 5.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Back in game

Smith (knee) is back on the field following halftime of Monday's game with the Giants, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Smith went down with a knee injury in the first half, but he's ready to go for the final 30 minutes. The quarterback was replaced for two series by Drew Lock following his injury, and Lock now will return to the bench.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Dealing with leg injury

Smith suffered a knee injury and is questionable to return to Monday's contest with the Giants, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Smith limped off the field after being hit while running out of bounds in the second quarter, and his status for the remainder of the game is now uncertain. More information on the quarterback will likely come following halftime. For the time being, Drew Lock has taken over under center for Seattle.

  • P.J. Walker QB | SEA

PJ Walker: Reverts to practice squad

Walker reverted to Cleveland's practice squad Monday.

With Deshaun Watson (shoulder) out for Sunday's loss, Walker was called up to serve as the backup to Dorian Thompson-Robinson but did not play a snap. While the Browns have a bye this week, if Watson is still not healthy for the team's Week 6 matchup against the 49ers, Walker could be called up once again.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Has bruised hip

Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Stafford suffered a hip contusion during Sunday's overtime win at Indianapolis, but the quarterback is expected to play this coming Sunday against the Eagles, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Stafford wasn't 100 percent for a portion of Sunday's game, and he revealed afterward that a hip injury was the culprit, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. At the same time, Stafford said he'll "be out there" Week 5, which was backed up by McVay one day later. In the end, Stafford likely will operate with some restrictions once the Rams reconvene for practice Wednesday, and it also seems possible he'll enter this coming weekend with a designation.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Will continue to play through pain

Coach Zac Taylor confirmed Monday that the Bengals have no intention of sitting Burrow, as the QB continues to deal with a lingering calf strain, Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

When asked specifically if Burrow is going to start against the Cardinals on Sunday, Taylor replied in the affirmative, noting that he believes the Bengals offense can operate at a high enough level, even given the signal-caller's current condition. Burrow practiced fully last week and approached the team's Week 4 loss to the Titans without an injury designation, so unless he suffers a setback at practice this week, Burrow will be out there again this weekend, though it's possible key wideout Tee Higgins (rib) could be limited or out versus Arizona.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Dealing with bone bruise in knee

Pickett suffered a bone bruise in his knee during Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The report notes that Pickett's injury could lead to a short-term absence but adds that the door is open for the quarterback -- who also is dealing with a muscle strain -- to play this weekend against the Ravens. That said, with the Steelers on bye Week 6, the team could elect to err on the side of caution and hold Pickett out versus Baltimore. If that comes to fruition, Mitch Trubisky would start in his place Week 5.
