Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Not expected to play Sunday
Hurts (right shoulder) is not in line to play Sunday against the Saints, but he is expected to be available for the Eagles' Week 18 contest against the Giants, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Official confirmation of Hurts' Week 17 status will arrive when Philadelphia's inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, with the QB having been listed as doubtful by the team after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday. Assuming Hurts isn't available versus New Orleans, Gardner Minshew will be slated to make his second straight start, while the Eagles' approach with regard to whether or how much to play Hurts next weekend will presumably hinge on if the team has clinched the NFC's No. 1 seed or not.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Set to play in Week 17
Lawrence (toe) is in line to play Sunday at Houston, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Since suffering a sprained toe during a Week 13 loss at Detroit, Lawrence has endured a cap on his practice reps but has been able to play in each of the last three games, completing 77 of 115 passes (67 percent) for 915 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception and running 13 times for 79 yards and two more scores. This week, he followed up a DNP on Wednesday with back-to-back limited sessions before heading into the weekend listed as questionable. While Lawrence is set to continue leading the Jaguars offense Sunday, it won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Anthony Brown QB | BUF
Ravens' Anthony Brown: Signed to active roster
The Ravens signed Brown to their active roster Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Brown had been elevated from the practice squad each of the previous three weeks, so Baltimore was required to sign him to the active roster in order to deploy him as the backup to Tyler Huntley again Week 17. Brown has gotten into only one game thus far, completing three of five passes for 16 yards and rushing three times for minus-5 yards against Pittsburgh in Week 14. His backup role has coincided with Lamar Jackson's continued absence due to a knee injury.

Trey Lance QB | LAC
49ers' Trey Lance: Has follow-up surgery
Lance underwent a procedure Friday to extract hardware from his right ankle that was inserted during the initial surgery back in September.
Lance suffered a fibula fracture and ligament disruption in his right ankle Week 2 that ended his second campaign. The 49ers reported Saturday that as he proceeded through his rehab, the "close proximity proved to cause irritation" in the ankle in question, which, after reaching out to a number of experts, forced Friday's surgery. Lance is expected to be healthy by OTAs in May, but in the meantime the team will continue to operate with rookie Brock Purdy under center with Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) sidelined.

Chase Garbers QB | LV
Raiders' Chase Garbers: Set to be backup
Garbers signed a contract with the Raiders on Saturday.
Garbers was a four-year player at California, racking up 6,580 passing yards and 1,174 rushing yards over the course of his collegiate career. The undrafted rookie free agent will back up Jarrett Stidham, who is replacing Derek Carr in the starting lineup for the rest of the season.

John Wolford QB | MIN
Rams' John Wolford: Unavailable Week 17
Wolford (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Wolford will miss his third consecutive game after failing to practice during Week 17 prep with a persistent neck injury. As a result, Bryce Perkins will continue to serve as the Rams' backup quarterback behind starter Baker Mayfield.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Suffers minor knee hyperextension
Prescott hyperextended his knee during Thursday's 27-13 win over the Titans, but he was able to keep playing, and team president Jerry Jones said he has "zero concern moving forward," Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Prescott didn't have his best game against a Titans team missing a slew of key players, throwing for 282 yards and two touchdowns but also committing three turnovers. It sounds like he'll be fine for Week 18 against the Commanders, though rest for the playoffs could enter the discussion depending on how other games in Week 17 play out.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Cleared from injury report
Rodgers (thumb/knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
The knee injury is a recent addition from last Sunday's 26-20 win over Miami, while the thumb is something Rodgers has managed for a couple months, with reports at one point suggesting he has an avulsion fracture in the affected digit. Whatever the case, he hasn't thrown for 300 yards or run for a touchdown all season and has only one game with more than two passing touchdowns. Rodgers does get an excellent matchup in a must-win game for the Packers this week, though he might not have WR Christian Watson (questionable, hip) at his disposal against a Vikings defense that's given up the fifth-most points in the league to opposing quarterbacks.

Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Doubtful for Week 17
Hurts (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
After sitting out Week 16 due to a sprained right throwing shoulder, Hurts returned to the practice field Thursday and maintained a limited listing into Friday's session. Despite showing signs of progress, though, he appears destined to be unavailable Sunday. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Friday that Hurts did show significant strides this week, so even if he doesn't play Week 17, he may be an option to suit up Week 18 against the Giants, especially if the Eagles have yet to lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC. With Hurts expected to sit this weekend, Gardner Minshew is in line to get another start under center for Philadelphia.

Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Eagles' Gardner Minshew: Likely starting with Hurts doubtful
Minshew is on track to start Sunday's game against New Orleans with fellow Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) listed as doubtful, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that Hurts showed progress when he returned to practice this week, but the Eagles are being cautious and figure to hold him out for another game. They won't have any playoff implications in Week 18 if Minshew leads them to victory this Sunday, so his odds for a third start partially depend on how he plays. Standout RT Lane Johnson (adductor) is out this Sunday, but even without him the Eagles have an above-average offensive line and one of the best groups of skill-position talent in the league. RB Miles Sanders (knee) and WR A.J. Brown (knee) both have been cleared for Sunday after missing out on some practice reps this week.
