Joe Burrow QB | CIN
Bengals' Joe Burrow: Tale of two halves
Burrow was dominant in the first half against the Pats, and very shaky in the second half in the Bengals' 22-18 win. He ended up completing 40 of 52 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns while throwing two interceptions.
All of the Bengals' scoring came in the first half, when Burrow went 28-of-36 for 284 yards and all three touchdowns. In the second half he threw a pick-six and was held under 100 yards, as the Pats' pass rush intensified and their offense kept the Bengals off the field. The Bengals need to find out how long OT La'el Collins (knee) will be out, but presumably he won't play next week against the Bills.

Tyler Huntley QB | BAL
Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Does just enough against Falcons
Huntley completed nine of 17 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown, carried the ball 11 times for 26 rushing yards and ran in a two-point conversion in Saturday's 17-9 win over Atlanta.
It was far from a productive game, but the Ravens defense didn't allow the Falcons to score a touchdown at all, so Huntley's second-quarter TD strike to Demarcus Robinson and subsequent two-point conversion wound up being the difference. Baltimore locked up a playoff spot Saturday with the win and a Patriots loss to the Bengals, so while Lamar Jackson (knee) is potentially poised to begin practicing next week, the team may elect to prioritize keeping him healthy for the postseason -- possibly leaving Huntley under center for a Week 17 clash with the Steelers.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Panthers' Sam Darnold: Impressive numbers in win
Darnold completed 15 of 22 passes for 250 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Panthers' 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday. He also rushed six times for 19 yards and another score.
Darnold averaged an impressive 11.4 yards per attempt while turning in his fourth straight interception-free effort. The 2018 third overall pick also upped his completion percentage for the fourth consecutive contest, and although the ground game took center stage Saturday, Darnold impressively connected with seven different pass catchers overall. With the Panthers firmly in the mix for the NFC South crown, Darnold will have an opportunity to play a pivotal role once again in what will be a critical Week 17 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Saints' Andy Dalton: Decreased role in tough conditions
Dalton completed eight of 15 passes for 92 yards and one interception during Saturday's 17-10 win over Cleveland.
Dalton attempted a season-low 15 passes during Saturday's frigid temperatures and steady winds. With top wideout Chris Olave (hamstring) inactive, the 35-year-old signal-caller was also let down with multiple drops by New Orleans' receivers. This included an interception late in the first quarter on a pass that bounced off the hands of tight end Juwan Johnson and directly to awaiting Browns safety Grant Delpit. Dalton went on to attempt just seven passes over the remaining three quarters of the game, as the Saints offense shifted to an option rushing attack between versatile quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Alvin Kamara. However, Dalton still accounted for all of the team's passing attempts in this game, so this unique game plan is unlikely to affect his status as the team's starting quarterback moving forward.

Desmond Ridder QB | GB
Falcons' Desmond Ridder: More efficient in loss to Ravens
Ridder completed 22 of 33 passes for 218 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in Saturday's 17-9 loss to Baltimore.
He added eight rushing yards on four carries. The young QB was much more efficient than he was last week in his NFL debut and showed great chemistry with fellow rookie Drake London, who accounted for 96 of his 218 passing yards, but Ridder still failed to produce a TD, just as he did against the Saints. The 2022 third-round pick will have two more chances to complete his first career touchdown pass before the end of the season -- next week against the Cardinals and in Week 18 against the Buccaneers, both home games for the Falcons.
-
Jared Goff QB | DET
Lions' Jared Goff: Three TDs against Panthers
Goff completed 25 of 42 passes for 355 yards with three touchdowns while rushing three times for 15 yards and fumbling once during Saturday's 37-23 loss to Carolina.
Goff put together a fine stat line for fantasy purposes, but the near complete lack of help from the run game made it difficult for the Lions to keep up with the Panthers, who had no problem running the ball. It didn't help that Jamaal Williams (leg) left the game in the third quarter, not to mention that Goff had numerous passes batted down at the line of scrimmage. Should Williams need to miss time, look for Detroit to scheme up a pass-heavy game plan in Week 17 against a Bears defense allowing the third-most yards per pass attempt (7.8) this season.
-
Mac Jones QB | SF
Patriots' Mac Jones: Bounces back in Week 16 loss
Jones completed 21 of 33 passes for 240 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and netted minus-1 yard on one rush attempt in the Patriots' 22-18 loss to the Bengals on Saturday.
Jones put together much better numbers than during his forgettable Week 15 performance against the Raiders, although ultimately, the end result was another loss for New England. The second-year signal-caller found his most success when targeting Kendrick Bourne (6-100-1), though he continued to display strong chemistry with Jakobi Meyers (6-83-1) as well. Jones will look to improve on Saturday's solid numbers in a favorable Week 17 home matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Bears' Justin Fields: Muted performance in loss
Fields completed 15 of 23 passes for 119 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and rushed seven times for 11 yards in the Bears' 35-13 loss to the Bills on Saturday. He also recovered a fumble.
Fields averaged just 5.2 yards per attempt and took a pair of sacks while turning in his lowest rushing yardage total of the campaign. The highly mobile signal-caller's one touchdown toss came to Dante Pettis from six yards out for the first score of the game for either squad, giving Fields at least one touchdown through the air in nine of the last 10 games. He'll next draw a much more fantasy-friendly matchup in a Week 17 road divisional clash with the Lions on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Goes for three scores Saturday
Mahomes completed 16 of 28 pass attempts for 224 yards and two touchdowns while adding another score and eight rushing yards on two carries in Saturday's 24-10 win over the Seahawks.
Mahomes didn't need to post gaudy numbers in this comfortable victory, as Seattle rarely threatened the decision after starting the second half down two scores. The 27-year-old's short rushing touchdown brought his season total up to four, doubling his previous career high. Mahomes and the Chiefs will close out the regular season with games against AFC West opponents in Weeks 17 and 18, beginning with a home tilt against the Broncos next Sunday. Denver boasts one of the stingiest pass defenses in the NFL, but Mahomes is a matchup-proof fantasy quarterback.

Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Three total TDs in win
Allen completed 15 of 26 passes for 172 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Bills' 35-13 win over the Bears on Saturday. He also rushed six times for 41 yards and another score and committed a fumble that he recovered.
Allen and the Bills offense as a whole got off to a slow start in the artic-like conditions of Soldier Field, but the star quarterback ultimately finished with a fantasy-friendly afternoon thanks largely to his work in the second half. Allen did complete a 19-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis just past the midway point of the first quarter, and he then added a four-yard scoring rush and 13-yard touchdown toss to Dawson Knox within the last four minutes of the contest. Allen's final numbers through the air were well below his usual standards, however, and he'll draw another tough matchup on the road against the Bengals in Week 17 on Monday night, Jan. 2.
