Zach Wilson QB | NO
Jets' Zach Wilson: Not ruled out for Week 1
Coach Robert Saleh said Monday that it's "possible" Wilson (knee) could start Week 1 versus the Ravens, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Saleh said a decision won't be made until Wilson's knee is evaluated at Wednesday's practice, but it's encouraging to see that he went through a workout Monday. Per Cimini, the starting quarterback for Sunday's game against Baltimore will be announced Wednesday. Veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco is an option to line up under center Week 1 if Wilson isn't yet fully recovered from a meniscus tear and bone bruise in his right knee.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Rams' Matthew Stafford: No limitations for Thursday
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Sunday that Stafford (elbow) will have no limitations during Thursday's season opener against the Bills, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Stafford dealt with discomfort in his right elbow that required an offseason injection, but he's since returned to full practices and won't have any limitations during the season opener. Per Rodrigue, McVay said Sunday that the Rams plan to manage Stafford's arm similarly to how they did last season, so it appears to be an ongoing issue despite it being labeled as an "abnormal" injury at first. When asked if Stafford could throw 50-plus passes Thursday, McVay said, "No hesitation."

Rush will back up Dak Prescott to begin the season, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
While Rush is currently on the practice squad as part of some roster juggling shenanigans by the Cowboys, the 28-year-old will be promoted to the active roster ahead of Week 1's game against the Buccaneers. Reid Sinnett QB | CIN
Reid Sinnett: Sticks around on practice squad
The Eagles signed Sinnett to the practice squad Wednesday, Sage Hurley of the team's official site reports.
Sinnett competed with veteran Gardner Minshew for Philadelphia's backup quarterback spot this preseason, but he was ultimately let go as part of the team's final roster cuts Tuesday. Now on the practice squad, the 25-year-old should serve as the team's next best option at quarterback behind Minshew and Ian Book, who was claimed by the Eagles on Wednesday.

Joshua Dobbs QB | NE
Browns' Joshua Dobbs: Locked into No. 2 role
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski affirmed Thursday that Dobbs is the team's primary backup quarterback behind current starter Jacoby Brissett, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Dobbs' solid preseason showing allowed him to beat out fellow backup signal-caller Josh Rosen, who was signed to the Browns' practice squad Thursday, for this role behind Brissett. However, it's uncertain where the current No. 2 quarterback will slot into Cleveland's depth chart once eventual starter Deshaun Watson returns from his 11-game suspension to start the regular season.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Back at practice Thursday
Garoppolo participated in practice Thursday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
This marks Garoppolo's first appearance in drills since he agreed to a restructured one-year contract Monday and, in fact, his first practice since the 49ers' loss to the Rams in the NFC Championship Game back in January. In the meantime, he underwent surgery to address a torn capsule in his right throwing shoulder, from which he's since fully recovered. San Francisco also officially handed the reins of the offense to 2021 first-round pick Trey Lance, meaning Garoppolo now is the team's No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart.
