Mattison exited the Vikings' Week 10 win over Saints after being diagnosed with a concussion, but he made quick progress through the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries. After sitting out Wednesday's practice session, he returned to the field Thursday as a limited participant, then was able to practice fully Friday. Rapoport's report implies that Mattison likely passed the final phase of the protocol Saturday, when he was cleared by an independent neurologist. Assuming he's officially cleared when Minnesota releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, Mattison should remain the Vikings' lead option on the ground, though he had ceded some work to Ty Chandler in Week 10 before departing with the head injury. As a result, it's possible that Minnesota opts for more of a timeshare out of the backfield between Mattison and Chandler, the latter of whom carried 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown against New Orleans.

The Dolphins cut Funk from the practice squad Saturday.

Funk spent a little over a month in Miami after he was cut by the Colts earlier in the season. The 2021 seventh-round pick of the Rams is no longer needed with the Dolphins' backfield returning to full health. Funk has four career carries for 15 yards.

The Cardinals elevated Jones to their active roster Saturday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.

The 25-year-old out of Notre Dame was likely added to Arizona's active roster to ensure depth at running back, with Emari Demercado (toe) missing Sunday's contest. Jones has made six appearances for the Cardinals and Saints in 2023, recording 111 total yards on 31 touches.

The Dolphins are activating Achane (knee) from injured reserve Saturday. He remains questionable for Sunday's contest against Las Vegas.

Achane is already listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, but his official activation from IR on Saturday is a necessary prerequisite to him suiting up for Week 11. The explosive rookie has missed Miami's last four games due to a knee sprain, so it's unclear whether he'll handle his full assortment of snaps if cleared to play Sunday, with Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee) and Jeff Wilson both expected to be available. Still, considering Achane's big-play ability and capacity to turn a single touch into a house call, fantasy managers will have a difficult time keeping him on the bench as long as he is officially cleared ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

The Cowboys announced Saturday that Dowdle (ankle) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Dowdle appears to have picked up an ankle injury during Saturday's walk-through practice. His status for Week 11 now may not be revealed until 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. The No. 2 running back scored his first rushing touchdown last week versus the Giants, while he also logged a career-high 79 rushing yards on 12 carries.

The Commanders elevated Gore from their practice squad Saturday.

Gore's elevation likely means that Antonio Gibson, who entered the weekend listed as doubtful due to a toe injury, won't suit up. This is the third time Gore has been elevated this season, and he tallied 13 offensive snaps without getting a touch or a target over Weeks 4 and 5. He'll likely work in a limited role behind fellow tailbacks Brian Robinson and Chris Rodriguez against the Giants on Sunday.

The Titans waived Ward on Saturday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

Ward was signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, and he played 15 special-teams snaps in that contest. The 26-year-old has recorded just three offensive snaps over three contests on the campaign, but he's been a fixture on special teams during that span. Ward could return to Tennessee's practice squad if he clear waivers.

Spiller (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Chargers originally listed Spiller as questionable for Week 11 after he recorded a DNP at Friday's practice, and it now seems as if the second-year running back won't be well enough to suit up Sunday. Spiller has played a minimal role in Los Angeles' offense thus far, recording 47 total yards on 15 touches.

The Bears activated Herbert (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday.

Herbert has been listed as a full participant in five of six practices since being initially designated for return from IR, so this transaction confirms that he's on track for Sunday's road matchup against the Lions. After a five-game absence, it remains to be seen whether Herbert will immediately handle a full assortment of snaps, but it's worth noting that presumed co-starter D'Onta Foreman (ankle) is officially listed as questionable.

Spiller (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers.

Spiller popped up on Los Angeles' injury report after he didn't participate in Friday's practice, and he seems to be dealing with an illness that could hold him out of Sunday's contest. The second-year running back has appeared in only five games for the Chargers this season, recording 27 rushing yards on 12 attempts.
