  • Bijan Robinson RB | ATL

Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Doesn't feel well, gets one touch

Robinson (illness) rushed once for three yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Buccaneers.

Robinson played just one snap in the first quarter and didn't log a carry or draw a target while Atlanta went with a combination of Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson in the backfield. The rookie first-round pick finished the first half without a touch on six total snaps, with Falcons head coach Arthur Smith telling Kristina Pink of Fox Sports after halftime that Robinson's lack of work in the first two quarters was a result of the running back "just not feeling all that great." Neither Smith nor the Falcons announced that Robinson would sit out for the remainder of the game, but he was a spectator for the entire second half before taking the field and getting his lone carry in the final minute of the fourth quarter, two plays before the Falcons kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired. Whatever apparent illness Robinson was dealing with isn't expected to affect his availability for Week 8 against the Titans, though his fantasy managers would have appreciated advanced notice about him being under the weather heading into Sunday's contest. The Falcons didn't list Robinson on their Week 7 injury report, and no reports leading up to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff suggested he was under the weather.

  • Lions' Mohamed Ibrahim: Undergoes surgery

Ibrahim underwent surgery on his hip after leaving Sunday's game against the Raiders, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Ibrahim needed to be carted off the field, and the subsequent surgery indicates how serious the issue is. The 25-year-old rookie just signed to the Lions' practice squad Tuesday and moved up to the active roster Saturday.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Exits Sunday's game

Ford was forced out of Sunday's game against the Colts with an ankle injury, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Prior to his exit, Ford carried 11 times for 74 yards and a TD and caught two of his four targets for 20 yards. In his absence, Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong are next up for the Browns' Week 7 carries.

  • Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Questionable to return

Mitchell exited Sunday's game against the Lions with a hamstring injury.

Mitchell did not play an offensive snap during his season debut last week against Tennessee. The undrafted rookie did log the first carry of his NFL career for nine yards during Sunday's contest, though it appears he sustained some sort of hamstring injury during the second half. With Baltimore up by more than four scores in the fourth quarter, it's unlikely that Mitchell will return even if he is able to overcome this hamstring injury. If he does not return, his next chance to play would come Sunday, Oct. 29 versus Arizona.

  • Lions' Mohamed Ibrahim: Out for game

Ibrahim (hip) was carted off the field and will not return Sunday against the Ravens, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Ibrahim signed to Detroit's practice squad Tuesday and moved up to the active roster Saturday. The 25-year-old rookie returned a kickoff 21 yards but did not otherwise record a stat in his NFL debut.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Rams' Myles Gaskin: Not playing Sunday

Gaskin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

The Rams signed Gaskin off the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday after losing their top two running backs, Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee), to injuries in Week 6. However, the team wants to give Gaskin more time to prepare before potentially playing him in Week 8 against the Cowboys, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Suiting up Sunday

Jones (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday in Denver, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Jones missed three of four games after straining his left hamstring Week 1, but even with the benefit of the Packers' Week 6 bye, he wasn't able to log a full practice Wednesday through Friday this week. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to handle a full complement of snaps, but if he does, he'll push AJ Dillon back to a secondary role in the Packers offense. Considering his lack of availability this season, Jones doesn't have much output to speak of -- 141 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in two appearances -- but he posted at least 1,190 total yards and seven-plus TDs in each campaign from 2019-2022.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Sitting out in Week 7

Charbonnet (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Cardinals.

A hamstring injury conspired to keep Charbonnet off the practice field for the entirety of Week 7 prep. Despite the lack of activity, he entered the weekend as questionable to play, but he eventually fulfilled a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN earlier Sunday that he wouldn't suit up for Sunday's game. With Charbonnet sidelined, DeeJay Dallas figures to garner any RB reps that don't go to starter Kenneth Walker, though undrafted rookie SaRodorick Thompson also is on hand for snaps out of the backfield.

  • Giants' Gary Brightwell: Out for game

Brightwell (hamstring) will not return to Sunday's game against the Commanders, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Brightwell did not record any stats before exiting, so it's unclear when he sustained the injury. Saquon Barkley and Matt Breida are New York's only remaining running backs on the active roster. Brightwell has nine carries for 19 yards in 2023.

  • Eric Gray RB | NYG

Giants' Eric Gray: Questionable to return

Gray is considered questionable to return to Sunday's matchup with the Commanders due to a calf injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Gray failed to record any stats and muffed a punt prior to exiting the game. If he is unable to return, Gary Brightwell would be the No. 3 option in the backfield behind Saquon Barkley and Matt Breida, while also the top option to return kicks.
