  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Lots of work in win

Jacobs rushed 25 times for 77 yards and caught two of five targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over New England.

Jacobs finished with 20-plus carries for the second consecutive week but was unable to replicate last week's touchdown. Las Vegas' workhorse still hasn't broken the four yards-per-carry mark in any game this season, softening his fantasy impact through six weeks. Jacobs will continue to receive all the touches he can handle despite getting off to a slow start, especially if starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) is unable to suit up for next Sunday's road game against Chicago.

  • Lions' David Montgomery: Set for further testing on ribs

Montgomery is scheduled to undergo further testing after exiting Sunday's 20-6 win over the Buccaneers with a rib injury, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Montgomery was injured when he landed hard on the field after being tackled in the second quarter. Initial X-rays on Montgomery's rib came back negative, but further tests are required to determine the precise nature and severity of his injury. With Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) also banged up and having missed the Lions' last two games, Craig Reynolds could be Detroit's lead back Week 7 against Baltimore if the top two options on the depth chart miss further game action.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Three touchdowns against Panthers

Mostert rushed the ball 17 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-21 win over the Panthers. He added three catches for 17 yards and an additional score.

Mostert led Miami's backfield with a season-high 20 touches, and he dominated opportunities when the game was in question. He used the additional volume to record his second 100-yard rushing performance of the campaign, highlighted by a long gain of 48 yards. Mostert also continued to benefit from the incredibly efficient Dolphins' offense with his third multi-score effort of the year, and he now has 11 total touchdowns in only six games. That's very unlikely to continue, and he could also have to share the backfield in Week 7 against the Eagles, as Jeff Wilson (ribs) appears poised to return from injured reserve.

  • Giants' Gary Brightwell: Suiting up Sunday night

Brightwell (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Buffalo.

Brightwell came into the weekend questionable with an ankle injury, but he will be able to take the field against Buffalo. Saquon Barkley (ankle) is also active for the contest, so Brightwell is likely to see his already small role on offense further reduced. Brightwell worked exclusively on special teams last week against Miami, and that may be the case again Sunday night.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Back in action Sunday

Barkley (ankle) is listed as active Sunday at Buffalo, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

After being listed as a limited practice participant for a second week in a row, Barkley again was listed as questionable for an upcoming game. This time around, though, there was optimism from the Giants (via Adam Schefter of ESPN) and Barkley himself (via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network) that he'd make his first appearance since sustaining a high right-ankle sprain Week 2, and that has come to pass. There's a chance Barkley doesn't take on a full workload right away considering the aforementioned limitations, but New York will have its top playmaker available Week 6. Matt Breida will be Barkley's top competitor for reps out of the backfield Sunday.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Solid performance as lead back

Foreman rushed 15 times for 65 yards and brought in his only target for two yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Foreman took the reins of the backfield as expected with Khalil Herbert (IR-ankle) and Roschon Johnson (concussion) unavailable, and the veteran back put together a solid effort in a game during which the Bears lost Justin Fields to a hand injury. Foreman unsurprisingly didn't factor much into the passing game, but he certainly gave a strong enough accounting to continue handling lead-back duties in a Week 7 home matchup versus the Raiders if Johnson is unable to clear concussion protocol in time for that contest.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Logs 22 touches in win

Mattison rushed 18 times for 44 yards and brought in four of seven targets for 28 yards in the Vikings' 19-13 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Mattison notably outpaced backfield mate Cam Akers by 17 carries after there was only a three-carry difference between the two in Week 5. However, as has been the case more often than not this season, Mattison was unable to do much with his opportunities on the ground, although he did put together a solid showing as a receiver. The fifth-year back does seem to have a firm hold of the lead back job, however, but he lines up for another tough matchup against the 49ers in Week 7 on Monday night, Oct. 23.

  • Ronnie Rivers RB | LAR

Rams' Ronnie Rivers: Suffers knee injury

Rivers exited the Rams's game versus the Cardinals on Sunday with a knee injury, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Rivers is questionable to return after logging three carries for nine yards and catching his only target for an additional four yards. Zach Evans should now see more playing time behind Kyren Williams if Rivers is unable to return.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Back in Sunday's game

Stevenson (head, ankle) returned to Sunday's game against the Raiders, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.

Stevenson was forced out of the contest with listed head and ankle issues but was subsequently able to re-enter the Patriots' Week 6 backfield equation. Now that he's back in Sunday's game, Stevenson is once again working in tandem with fellow RB Ezekiel Elliott.

  • Lions' David Montgomery: Not returning Sunday

Montgomery (ribs) has been ruled out of Sunday's contest at Tampa Bay.

After landing hard while being tackled from behind in the second quarter, Montgomery needed medical attention on the field before going to the sideline and eventually the locker room. He was favoring his left side, and the Lions diagnosed him with a rib injury. According to Pam Oliver on Fox's broadcast, X-rays came back negative for Montgomery, but the issue is severe enough to keep him off the field for the rest of Week 6. With Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) inactive and Montgomery out, Craig Reynolds and Devine Ozigbo are Detroit's healthy and available running backs for the rest of Sunday's outing.
