Jeff Wilson RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Doubtful for Week 6
Wilson (ribs/finger) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Miami was reportedly undecided on Wilson's status earlier Friday, but after he put in a third consecutive limited practice, the running back is now considered unlikely to be activated from injured reserve for his season debut this weekend. The Dolphins opened Wilson's 21-day evaluation window Wednesday, so even though he's poised to remain out Sunday, the team will still have two more weeks to add him back to the 53-man roster. With De'Von Achane (knee) joining Wilson on IR earlier this week, Miami will be left with Chris Brooks and Salvon Ahmed as its depth options behind lead back Raheem Mostert.

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Could land on IR
Herbert (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Minnesota and may be placed on injured reserve this weekend, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The Bears haven't made a decision on Herbert's status beyond this week, but it sounds like a trip to injured reserve could be the corresponding move when CB Kyler Gordon (hand) is activated Saturday. Placement on IR would rule Herbert out for the next four games -- something that might happen even if he stays on the active roster given that he's dealing with a high ankle sprain. Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) also are out Week 6, leaving D'Onta Foreman and Darrynton Evans to take RB snaps for Chicago.

Darrynton Evans RB | BUF
Bears' Darrynton Evans: Among team's two healthy RBs
Evans is one of two healthy running backs for Chicago, along with D'Onta Foreman, heading into Sunday's game against the Vikings, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
The Bears will also have fullback Khari Blasingame available but will play without Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring). Evans, who signed with the team this past Sunday, will likely cede the majority of carries to Foreman but could have a role in Chicago's depleted backfield.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Set to lead team's Week 6 backfield
Foreman is set to lead Chicago's backfield Sunday against the Vikings, as fellow running backs Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) have all been ruled out.
Foreman spent the past four games as a healthy inactive, but he's set to jump into the lead role against the Vikings, with Darrynton Evans on hand to serve as a change-of-pace option behind him. Last season with the Panthers, Foreman averaged 119.7 rushing yards in the six games in which he logged at least 15 rushing attempts.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Bears' Travis Homer: Among three RBs ruled out
Homer (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Homer failed to practice at all during the week and will be joined on the sidelines Sunday by Khalil Herbert (ankle) and Roschon Johnson (concussion) while D'Onta Foreman and Darrynton Evans lead Chicago's banged-up backfield. If Homer recovers in time to face the Raiders in Week 7, he could take on a larger role if Herbert and Johnson are still sidelined.
-
Roschon Johnson RB | CHI
Bears' Roschon Johnson: Won't play this week
Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The Bears lost all three of their active RBs to injuries in last Thursday's 40-20 win over Washington, and all three will now be out for at least one week. With Khalil Herbert (high ankle) and Travis Homer (hamstring) sidelined, the Bears are down to D'Onta Foreman and Darrynton Evans as backfield options for an NFC West matchup this Sunday. None of the injured RBs practiced this week.

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Ruled out for Week 6
Herbert (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Herbert was never likely to play after suffering a high-ankle sprain in last Thursday's win over the Commanders. Chicago also lost Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) to injuries in that game, and both will join Herbert on the inactive list Week 6, leaving D'Onta Foreman as Chicago's presumed lead back and Darrynton Evans as a reserve option. It won't be surprising if the Bears sign another RB before Sunday.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Deemed questionable again
Barkley (ankle) is listed as questionable for a matchup with the Bills on Sunday night, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Barkley appears truly questionable for a second straight week, and he'll be running behind the most injured offensive line in the league if he ends up playing. The Giants have ruled out three O-linemen and QB Daniel Jones (neck), with TE Darren Waller (groin) and three additional blockers deemed questionable. A late kickoff at 8:15 ET on Sunday further complicates matters for fantasy purposes given that Barkley may end up a game-time decision. Matt Breida dominated backfield work in the first two games Barkley missed, whereas Breida and Eric Gray operated in a near-50/50 split last Sunday in Miami.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Colts' Zack Moss: Likely to see reduced workload
Jonathan Taylor is expected to get a larger workload this week at Jacksonville after playing just 10 snaps last week, but Moss is expected to still be part of the mix, the Indianapolis Star reports. "Shoot, those two guys both playing good football will be pretty fun to see," Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said. "We'll see if we can keep that coming."
Taylor missed the first four games while on the PUP list while recovering from an ankle injury. With the Colts also signing Taylor to a three-year, $42 million extension last week, it would seem likely that he takes over the bulk of running back touches sooner rather than later. However, Moss is third in the NFL in rushing yards (445) while paying just four games, so it's unclear how the workload will be divided. Moss would appear likely to move to a split with Taylor at best this week, but he's been so efficient (5.0 YPC) that he can still have an impact in a reduced role.

Evan Hull RB | HOU
Colts' Evan Hull: Won't return this season
Hull (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 ESPN The Fan Indianapolis reports.
The rookie fifth-round pick suffered a knee injury in his first NFL game Week 1 versus Jacksonville and went on injured reserve. While the team previously noted that Hull was making progress in his recovery, Bowen's report suggests that the Northwestern product may have suffered a setback that will prevent him from playing again in 2023. The Colts' need for Hull has been lessened after Zack Moss returned from a broken forearm Week 2 and after Jonathan Taylor returned from ankle surgery Week 5.
