  • AJ Dillon RB | CAR

Packers' AJ Dillon: Solid showing as workhorse back

Dillon rushed 20 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and failed to bring in his only target in the Packers' 17-13 loss to the Raiders on Monday night.

With Aaron Jones (hamstring) sidelined, Dillon reverted to the lead back role he'd held in Weeks 2 and 3 and turned in his best performance of the season. The bruising fourth-year pro recorded season highs in carries and rushing yards, and he added his first touchdown of the campaign on a five-yard run just before the halfway point of the third quarter. Dillon's lack of a presence in the passing game was the one blemish on his night, but he's built himself a bit of fantasy equity if he's called on to reprise the top role in a highly favorable Week 7 matchup against the Broncos following a Week 6 bye.

  • Michael Carter RB | TEN

Jets' Michael Carter: Continues to fill depth role

Carter rushed once for eight yards and caught all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Broncos.

Carter and Breece Hall were each targeted three times while Dalvin Cook finished without a target, but Hall worked as the clear bellcow on the ground with 22 carries for 177 yards and a touchdown. Cook rushed six times for 23 yards and is averaging 2.7 yards per rushing attempt compared to Carter's five carries for 31 yards (6.2 YPC) in 2023. Carter's superior efficiency could allow him to supplant Cook as the primary backup to Hall down the line, but Hall should continue to handle the majority of opportunities in the Jets' backfield as long as he's healthy.

  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Jets' Dalvin Cook: Six carries in Week 5

Cook rushed six times for 23 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Broncos.

While Cook delivered another pedestrian performance, Breece Hall worked as the focal point of New York's offense with 177 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. With Hall handling a full workload after being eased in over the first few weeks, Cook has been relegated to sharing backup duties with Michael Carter, who had 22 total yards on one carry and three catches Sunday. Heading into a Week 6 home game against the Eagles, Cook's averaging just 19.4 rushing yards per game with the Jets.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Kenyan Drake: Reverts to practice squad

Drake reverted to Baltimore's practice squad Monday.

Drake was elevated for the second time this season for Sunday's Week 5 clash against the Steelers but played just one offensive snap and failed to log a single stat. With J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) and Keaton Mitchell (shoulder) both on injured reserve, Drake might have another opportunity for a promotion ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans.

  • Corey Clement RB | ARI

Corey Clement: Reverts to practice squad

Clement reverted to Arizona's practice squad Monday.

Clement was elevated to the active roster for the second straight week with Keaontay Ingram (neck) out again and logged 13 special-teams snaps. With James Conner (knee) now dealing with an injury as well, Clement could be in line for another elevation Sunday against the Rams, but he's unlikely to see playing time on offense.

  • Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR

Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Gets most carries again

Hubbard rushed nine times for 35 yards and caught one of two targets for no yards in Sunday's 42-24 loss to the Lions.

Hubbard played only two fewer offensive snaps than starter Miles Sanders and led Carolina in carries and rushing yards for the second straight week. With Sanders losing a fumble Sunday as well, Hubbard could get further opportunities at his expense. However, given Hubbard's usually mild yardage and a tough Week 6 matchup at the Dolphins, the veteran's outlook should only receive a slight uptick.

  • Packers' Patrick Taylor: Will work behind AJ Dillon on MNF

Taylor has been brought up to the Packers' active roster ahead of Monday night's game against the Raiders, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Aaron Jones (hamstring) is inactive for the contest, leaving AJ Dillon as Green Bay's starter in the backfield. Taylor is likely to handle the bulk of work on the ground behind Dillon, with Emanuel Wilson working as the No. 3 back. This is the fourth time Taylor will be active on the campaign. Through three contests, he's recorded 29 rushing yards on nine carries and has caught three of five targets for 23 yards through the air.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

49ers' Jordan Mason: Rips off TD in garbage time

Mason rushed 10 times for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Cowboys. He failed to bring in his lone target.

Elijah Mitchell (knee) remained sidelined for the second week in a row, affording Mason the opportunity to continue operating as the team's No. 2 backfield option. The special teams ace wound up playing 13 snaps on offense (18 percent), most of which came in the closing moments of Sunday's lopsided affair. Mason put the final nail in the Cowboys' coffin Sunday when he ripped off a 26-yard run in the fourth quarter for the 49ers' sixth and final touchdown of the contest. The 24-year-old finished as the team's leading rusher, but that had more to do with the crooked score as opposed to his role expanding. Fantasy managers should expect to see a handful of touches from Mason in Week 6 if Mitchell remains sidelined for next Sunday's tilt against Cleveland.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Could see increase in usage

Wilson will operate as one of Green Bay's reserve options behind AJ Dillon on Monday night versus Las Vegas, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

With Aaron Jones (hamstring) inactive for the Packers' Week 5 matchup with the Raiders, Wilson will likely see an increase in usage. The running back has turned five carries into 11 yards this season and caught one pass for six yards while appearing in both of the contests Jones has previously missed. Wilson will likely operate as the third fiddle in Green Bay's backfield behind Dillon and Patrick Taylor on Monday Night Football.

  • AJ Dillon RB | CAR

Packers' AJ Dillon: In line for leading role Monday

Dillon is slated to lead the Packers backfield for Monday's game in Las Vegas with Aaron Jones (hamstring) inactive, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Dillon has operated as Green Bay's lead running back for most of the season due to Jones' lingering hamstring injury, but his production has been lacking, to say the least. Through four contests, Dillon is averaging just 2.7 yards on his 44 carries, hauled in three of five passes for 25 yards and scored no touchdowns. As for the team's RBs not named Dillon, Patrick Taylor and Emanuel Wilson also figure to get some reps Week 5.
