White rushed 10 times for 40 yards and brought in his only target for nine yards in the Raiders' 34-17 preseason win over the Rams on Saturday night.

White got the first touch among the Raiders' running backs and ended up leading the team in carries and rushing yards. The 2022 fourth-round pick has a chance to open the season as the No. 1 running back given Josh Jacobs' ongoing absence due to a contract dispute, and after logging 23 carries over the first two preseason games, White may be rested in next Saturday night's road preseason finale against the Cowboys ahead of Week 1.

McBride carried the ball six times for 18 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-16 preseason loss to the Titans.

McBride saw only one carry in the first half, during which Ty Chandler earned the majority of the work. McBride did take the field more in the second half, highlighted by a one-yard touchdown plunge with just under six minutes remaining in the game. His usage suggests he's currently fourth on the depth chart, as neither Alexander Mattison (undisclosed) and Kene Nwangwu (undisclosed) suited up.

Spears rushed the ball seven times for 57 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-16 preseason over the Vikings.

Spears was the first back on the field and played three offensive possessions with Derrick Henry sitting out. He ended his appearance in style by ripping off a 33-yard touchdown, during which he hurdled a defender near the line of scrimmage before showcasing breakaway speed to find the corner of the end zone. Spears will enter the season as the backup to Derrick Henry but should offer big-play ability as a change-of-pace back.

Hull had four carries for 13 yards and lost a yard on his lone reception in Saturday's preseason win over Chicago.

Neither Hull nor Deon Jackson were overly impressive after strong first preseason games, but both worked with the second-team offensive line as all starters on offense were rested. With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Zack Moss (arm) sidelined, Hull could have a large role to begin the regular season. He could still be in competition for a third-down role even when Taylor returns, as the Northwestern product was an outstanding receiver out of the backfield with the Wildcats (55 receptions in 2022) .

Jackson had three carries for eight yards and had two receptions for 15 yards on two targets in Saturday's preseason win over Chicago.

Jackson got the start at running back, but the Colts rested every starter on offense. Jackson wasn't as impressive as the first preseason game (six carries for 35 yards) but that may have been a byproduct of working with the second-team offensive line. With top running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) on the PUP list and Zack Moss out with a broken arm, Jackson could enter the regular season as the top running back. However, the Colts could sign a veteran late in camp if Taylor remains out.

Chandler carried the ball 11 times for 24 yards in Saturday's 24-16 preseason loss to the Titans.

Alexander Mattison didn't suit up, leaving Chandler as the top back. He stuck on the field throughout the entire first half, while DeWayne McBride saw only one touch in that span. Minnesota has tried out a number of veterans throughout the preseason, but for now, Chandler appears to have the inside track for the backup job to Mattison to begin the regular season.

Warren rushed the ball once for 62 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 27-15 preseason win over the Bills.

Warren entered the game as the second running back behind Najee Harris, but his lone carry came with the entire first-team offense on the field. He weaved through the Bills' defense for the long score and showcased some needed big-play ability out of the backfield. Warren is still likely to begin the regular season as the second back behind Harris, but he's making the case to see the field more regularly in his second professional campaign.

Homer recorded five carries for 13 yards and one catch (on one target) for four yards during Saturday's 24-17 preseason defeat at Indianapolis.

With Khalil Herbert sitting out Saturday, the Bears trotted out D'Onta Foreman, rookie fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson and Homer in order. Foreman managed four touches for 18 yards, while Johnson reeled off a 14-yard run and 11-yard reception on his way to eight touches for 43 total yards. Considering Homer's prowess as a pass catcher, that likely will be his calling card if he's able to land a regular role in Chicago's offense. He'll have one more opportunity to stake a claim in the team's exhibition finale Saturday, Aug. 26 against the Bills.

Conner rushed twice for 15 yards in the Cardinals' 38-10 preseason loss to the Chiefs on Saturday night.

Conner took the ball on Arizona's first play from scrimmage and recorded a six-yard carry, and after a nine-yard gain during the Cardinals' second drive, the veteran back's night was done. The 28-year-old once again lines up to helm the backfield in 2023, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him sit out next Saturday afternoon's road matchup against the Vikings.

Johnson turned seven carries into 32 yards and hauled in his only target for 11 yards during Saturday's 24-17 preseason loss in Indianapolis.

The Bears gave Khalil Herbert the night off Saturday, allowing D'Onta Foreman the first chance to lead the backfield. Once Johnson took over from Foreman in the second quarter, the rookie fourth-rounder outproduced the veteran in yards from scrimmage, 43-18, on four more touches. The breakdown of Chicago's RB room appears to be unsettled with just one exhibition to go, so Johnson's performance Saturday, Aug. 26 versus the Bills will be one to monitor ahead of Week 1.
