Conner carried the ball nine times for 22 yards and caught both his targets for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Cowboys.

Against what has been one of the worst defenses in the league, Conner and the entire Steelers offense came out flat, and Pittsburgh eventually got away from its running game in the second half while Ben Roethlisberger led a comeback. Conner will look for redemption in Week 10 against another soft front seven in the Bengals.

Mattison carried the ball 12 times for 69 yards in Week 9 against Detroit.

Mattison got only two carries prior to the fourth quarter, when the Vikings were up 34-13. However, he helped to close out the game, picking up chunk gains of 14, 18 and 18 yards on the team's final possession. It's difficult to count on that type of game script on a weekly basis, meaning Mattison is trustworthy only if Dalvin Cook is forced to miss additional game action.

Jacobs carried the ball 14 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for three yards in Sunday's 31-26 win over the Chargers.

After getting a season-high 31 totes last week in Cleveland, Jacobs saw a much smaller workload this time around -- perhaps due to the knee injury that limited him in practice during the week -- and ceded eight carries to Devontae Booker, but he was still able to score his sixth TD of the year on a 14-yard run in the second quarter. Jacobs should see something more like his typical volume of touches in Week 10 against a stingy Broncos run defense.

Homer rushed six times for 16 yards and caught all three targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 44-34 loss to the Bills.

Homer took the lead back role with Chris Carson (foot) and Carlos Hyde (hamstring) out, as he paced the backfield with 31 snaps. The second-year running back out of Miami couldn't get anything going on the ground, but he showed some burst in the fourth quarter, reeling in a screen pass and taking it 50 yards into Buffalo territory. Once Carson and Hyde return, Homer's work will be reserved for clear passing situations because he's a skilled pass blocker.

Dallas rushed seven times for 31 yards and a touchdown and caught both targets for eight yards in Sunday's 44-34 loss to the Bills.

With Chris Carson (foot) and Carlos Hyde (hamstring) out for a second straight week, the Seahawks may have planned to give Dallas more work. However, the Bills took a two-score lead just 7:25 into the first quarter, and the Seahawks shifted even heavier toward the pass. Dallas still salvaged his day by punching in a four-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Travis Homer was more efficient, totaling 80 yards on nine touches. It's unclear whether Carson and Hyde will return for the Week 10 matchup against the Rams, and Dallas' role will diminish if either is active.

Edmonds carried 25 times for 70 yards and caught all three of his targets for an additional 18 yards during Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Dolphins.

With Kenyan Drake (ankle) sidelined, Edmonds received nearly as many carries in this one as he had in the first seven games combined. Despite facing a favorable matchup on paper, the typically efficient back averaged just 2.8 yards per carry and couldn't break off any big gains in the passing game. Edmonds will likely be the featured back again next Sunday against the Bills and will look to take advantage of his favorable role in one of the NFL's more potent offenses.

Swift carried the ball 13 times for 64 yards in Week 9 against the Vikings. He added three receptions for 33 yards.

Swift accounted for 13 of the team's 27 total rushing attempts, his second-highest total of the season. He was fairly effective, racking up two carries of more than 15 yards. Swift also remained effective as a receiver, recording a 19-yard reception on the team's first drive of the fourth quarter. He came close to 100 total yards for the second time in his career and appears poised to continue increasing his role in the backfield as the season wears on. Swift's next opportunity to take the field will come Week 10 against Washington.

Henry rushed the ball 21 times for 68 yards in Week 9 against the Bears.

Henry saw his normal allotment of carries but was held in check by the stout Bears' run defense. He did rip off a 26-yard run that ultimately led to a two-yard touchdown for Jonnu Smith. Aside from the carry, Henry managed to gain only 46 yards on 20 carries and was also shut out in the passing game for the third time this season. Henry is in the midst of a splendid season, but he'll seek a bounce-back performance in Week 10 against the Colts in another tough matchup.

Gordon logged 18 rushing yards on six carries, adding one reception for nine yards during Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Falcons.

After racking up 281 rushing yards and four total TDs over the first quarter of the regular season, Gordon has been inconsistent since his return from an illness that beset him in mid-October. In three appearances since his two-game absence, Gordon has averaged just 3.6 yards per carry with one total touchdown and fewer than 15 receiving yards in two of the three outings. He'll split RB duties with Phillip Lindsay again in Week 10, but this time it will be a more favorable matchup taking on Las Vegas' No. 15 rush defense.

Vaughn (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Saints.

Vaughn hasn't got much run this season, with veteran presences like Ronald Jones, Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy ahead of him on the depth chart. In fact, Vaughn has played exclusively special teams the past two games. With Vaughn in street clothes Sunday, the Buccaneers will roll with the aforementioned trio out of their backfield.
