Gordon and the Broncos won't play the Patriots on Monday after the game was postponed until Week 6 due to a third positive COVID-19 test in the New England organization within the past eight days, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Broncos and Patriots are now tentatively scheduled to play Sunday, Oct. 18 in Week 6, which was originally a scheduled bye week for New England. Denver, meanwhile, had been in line to host the Dolphins, but Miami now looks poised to take its bye Week 6.

Mostert (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, "should be good [to play]," a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Mostert missed the 49ers' previous two games with a sprained MCL in his knee, but he took a step forward this week by practicing in a limited basis Wednesday through Friday. Though his status may not be firmly decided until the 49ers have a chance to evaluate him in a pregame workout, Mostert looks like he'll be ready to suit up Week 5. However, given the time he's missed of late along with the fact that he didn't return to full speed for practice, Mostert could handle a more limited role than usual if he avoids the inactive list, which the 49ers will release approximately 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If Mostert's role is restricted in any way, Jerick McKinnon could remain a prominent part of the 49ers' backfield rotation.

Monday's scheduled game between Gordon and the Broncos vs. the Patriots is still in line to proceed at this stage, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The league shut down the Patriots' team facility Sunday morning after one new positive COVID-19 test was reported.

Schefter notes that there will be "further testing (Sunday) morning in New England (and) it takes a few hours to get back those results." Therefore, the NFL "expects to have more answers later" Sunday.

The status of Monday's scheduled game for Gordon between the Broncos and Patriots is reportedly in question after New England's team facility was shut down by the league Sunday morning, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Schefter adds that the Patriots had one new positive COVID-19 test Sunday morning. As a result, the team is undergoing additional testing and "awaiting further direction from the NFL." The Week 5 contest, which had been originally scheduled for 4:25 ET on Sunday, was subsequently rescheduled for Monday at 5:00 ET.

Mixon (shin) is expected to play Sunday against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The 24-year-old received the questionable tag for the second consecutive week, but he's expected to take the field once again Sunday. Mixon is coming off his best performance of the season after racking up 181 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns during last week's win over the Jaguars, though the Ravens offer a more difficult matchup this week.

The Broncos placed Bellamy (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Bellamy operated strictly on special teams over the last three games even with Phillip Lindsay out of the lineup with turf toe, so his minimum three-game absence shouldn't affect the Broncos' backfield depth much. He's eligible to return Week 9 against the Falcons.

Moss (toe) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Titans.

Perhaps the bigger news is that Moss was a full participant in Saturday's practice. That combined with the fact the rookie has been at least a limited participant in practice each of the last two weeks seems to suggest Moss will be available for the matchup against the Titans. The 22-year-old has played under 50 percent of the team's offensive snaps through two games, and he's been more of a nuisance to Devin Singletary's fantasy prospects as the second-year back has accumulated 198 total yards and a touchdown in the two games Moss has missed. Should Moss eventually get cleared ahead of Tuesday's game, expect the offense to gravitate back toward its split share through the first two weeks of the 2020 campaign.

Akers (ribs) was a full practice participant Friday and is set to play in Sunday's game against Washington, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Akers started the week as a limited participant before logging back-to-back full sessions Thursday and Friday. He's thus set to return from a two-game absence, though it isn't exactly clear what his workload will look like. Darrell Henderson took most of the carries the past two weeks, with Malcolm Brown getting the majority of targets and passing-down snaps. Akers was actually the Week 2 starter, taking three carries on the opening drive before a rib-cartilage injury knocked him out of the game and allowed for Henderson's emergence. Relying on any of the three backs in a Week 5 lineup requires a high tolerance for risk.

Mostert (knee) is expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

A limited practice participant throughout the week, Mostert is listed as questionable on the 49ers' final injury report. A late kickoff (4:05 p.m. ET) isn't ideal for fantasy managers, but follow-up reports could shed more light on Mostert's situation before the first wave of games kick off Sunday. Jerick McKinnon should be busy if Mostert is inactive, coming off 92 percent snap share and 21 touches in last week's 25-20 loss to the Eagles. There's some chance Mostert has his workload scaled down if he's active, rather than jumping right back to the 60 percent snap share and 19 touches he handled in the Week 1 loss to Arizona.
