  • Malik Davis RB | DAL

Cowboys' Malik Davis: Staying in Dallas

The Cowboys signed Davis to a reserve/future contract Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Davis spent the entire 2024 regular season on the Cowboys' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. He wasn't elevated to the active roster for a single game, but he'll stick around in Dallas and participate in offseason training programs to compete for a roster spot for the 2025 campaign.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Still limited by quad injury

Jones (quadriceps) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

For a second week in a row, Jones is enduring practice restrictions due to a quad injury. During Monday's loss at Detroit, he still handled 62 percent of snaps en route to 15 touches for 75 yards from scrimmage, while backup RB Cam Akers had a 31 percent snap share and eight touches for 69 total yards, most of them on a 58-yard rush. Jones will have two more chances to log a full session this week before the Vikings potentially tag him with a designation for Monday's wild-card contest at the Rams.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Chargers' J.K. Dobbins: Questionable for Saturday

Dobbins is listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Texans.

Dobbins was deemed questionable by the Chargers after being listed as a limited practice participant Tuesday through Thursday. Meanwhile, fellow running back Gus Edwards (ankle) -- who has missed two straight games -- doesn't carry an injury designation after practicing fully Thursday. Look for added context regarding Dobbins' status to arrive closer to Saturday's 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff, but if he's limited or out versus Houston, then Edwards would be in line to see added work on early downs, with Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal also in the mix. Additionally, the Chargers could elect to elevate either Ezekiel Elliott or Jaret Patterson from their practice squad.

  • Gus Edwards RB | LAC

Chargers' Gus Edwards: Cleared for wild-card round

Edwards (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's wild-card game at Houston.

Edwards missed the Chargers' final two games of the regular season with the ankle injury, but he's been cleared for the postseason opener after turning in a full practice Thursday following a pair of limited sessions Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, top back J.K. Dobbins (ankle) -- who was a limited practice participant throughout the week -- carries a questionable tag into Saturday's contest. If Dobbins ends up sitting out the wild-card contest or is available only in a limited capacity, Edwards would presumably lead the Chargers' ground attack, while Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal would be on hand as change-of-pace options. The Chargers could also choose to elevate Ezekiel Elliott or Jaret Patterson from the practice squad if there's any concern about Dobbins' availability.

  • Justice Hill RB | BAL

Ravens' Justice Hill: Ready for wild-card round

Hill (concussion) does not carry an injury designation on Thursday's practice report and will be available for Saturday's wild-card round matchup against the Steelers.

Hill, who missed Baltimore's final two regular-season games, has now fully cleared the NFL's concussion protocol. He'll be available to contribute out of the backfield behind Derrick Henry during Saturday's game against the Steelers, as well as to field kick returns. Across 15 regular-season appearances, Hill rushed 47 times for 228 yards and one touchdown. He also secured a career-high 48 of 51 targets for 383 yards and another three scores.

  • Isaiah Davis RB | NYJ

Jets' Isaiah Davis: Scores two total TDs in rookie year

Davis finished his rookie season with 30 carries for 174 yards and a touchdown, as well as nine catches for 75 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. He also returned nine kickoffs for 232 yards.

Davis had just five touches on offense through the Week 12 bye, but the rookie fifth-round pick was more involved down the stretch while showing promising efficiency on the ground. With Breece Hall likely to reprise the lead role in 2025, Davis and fellow 2024 draft pick Braelon Allen will find it difficult to carve out enough touches to be meaningful fantasy contributors, barring a change to the status quo in the Jets' backfield.

  • Bengals' Trayveon Williams: Zero carries all season

Williams played just one offensive snap in the Bengals' season finale against the Steelers and didn't have a carry or target, despite Chase Brown (ankle) sitting the game out.

In fact, Williams didn't net a single carry nor target all season long, playing just 10 offensive snaps all season. He last had a kickoff return in Week 4 against the Panthers. Unless the Bengals value his kick and punt coverage, he's unlikely to be a part of their future.

  • Kenny McIntosh RB | SEA

Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Modest production in win

McIntosh rushed seven times for 49 yards and failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams.

McIntosh played just 13 of the Seahawks' 55 offensive snaps in the contest, operating in a supporting role behind fellow running back Zach Charbonnet (42 snaps). With Kenneth Walker (ankle) on injured reserve for the past two contests, the 24-year-old McIntosh handled seven carries in both games, unable to get much going with his opportunities. The Georgia product finished the season with 31 rushes for 172 yards and three receptions for 22 yards. McIntosh will enter the third year of his four-year rookie contract in 2025, though he'll continue to be buried on the depth chart behind Walker and Charbonnet next season.

  • Broncos' Javonte Williams: Eight total touches in Week 18

Williams rushed five times for 28 yards and caught three of four targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 38-0 win over the Chiefs.

Williams played a minimal role in the ground attack Sunday, with fellow running backs Jaleel McLaughlin (16 carries) and Audric Estime (12 carries) getting much more work as ball carriers. The 24-year-old should continue to see a light role as part of a three-headed backfield committee when the Broncos visit Buffalo on Sunday in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Three touches in loss

Johnson rushed twice for 13 yards and caught one of his two targets for no gain in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots.

Johnson played 17 of the Bills' 67 offensive snaps in the contest, behind Ray Davis (35) and James Cook (15). With Buffalo already locked into the No. 2 seed before the game, the Bills chose to rest many of their key players for all or most of the contest. Johnson remained in his similar role, while the rookie Davis benefitted the most with expanded playing time. The veteran will continue to operate in a supporting role behind Cook when the Bills host the Broncos in the wild card round of the playoffs.
