  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Gains 91 yards Sunday

Charbonnet rushed 14 times for 59 yards while collecting a lateral for 32 receiving yards in Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams.

Charbonnet started the Seahawks' final game of the regular season with Kenneth Walker (ankle) mending on injured reserve. The 23-year-old Charbonnet had a peculiar stat line when he supplanted his modest 59 rushing yards with 32 receiving yards on a lateral from Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Charbonnet technically did not record a target or reception in Sunday's season finale, but his combined efforts brought the well-rounded backup up to 909 combined yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns across 17 games this year. Expect Charbonnet to continue establishing himself as a candidate to be Seattle's every-down back as the aforementioned Walker enters the final year of his four-year contract.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Finds end zone again Sunday

Cook carried the ball 10 times for 28 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots.

The Bills rested a lot of key players in Week 18 with the No. 2 seed in the AFC already locked up, but Cook merely saw his usual workload reduced, as he split touches in the backfield with Ray Davis. Cook still saw enough action to score his 16th rushing TD on a one-yard plunge in the third quarter, tying him with Derrick Henry and later Jahmyr Gibbs for the NFL lead, and he got just enough yardage to put him over 1,000 for the second straight season. Cook has gotten into the end zone in four straight games, a streak he'll look to continue next weekend in the wild-card round against the Broncos.

  • Saints' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Paces ground attack in loss

Edwards-Helaire rushed eight times for 26 yards and brought in his only target for 14 yards in the Saints' 27-19 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Edwards-Helaire served as a co-lead back alongside Jamaal Williams with both Alvin Kamara (groin) and Kendre Miller (concussion) sidelined, and he produced a team-high rushing yardage total. The veteran back will be an unrestricted free agent come the new league year, and Edwards-Helaire shouldn't have too much trouble garnering some interest on the open market given his status as a one-time first-round pick and the fact he's just 25 years old.

  • Tyler Allgeier RB | ATL

Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Closes season with 69 total yards

Allgeier rushed nine times for 52 yards and brought in both targets for 17 yards in the Falcons' 44-38 overtime loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Allgeier worked in his usual complementary role behind Bijan Robinson, who rushed for a career-high 170 yards and two touchdowns in the close loss. Allgeier's involvement on the ground represented a nice boost from the three carries he'd tallied in Week 17 against the Commanders, and his rushing yardage total was his second highest over the last six games. Allgeier projects to head into 2025, a contract year, in the same role he filled the last two seasons.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Finishes 2024 in style

Taylor carried the ball 34 times for 177 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for three yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win over the Jaguars.

It was another huge performance for the 25-year-old RB, who topped 100 yards in each of the last four games of the season, tying the longest such streak in his career. Taylor wrapped up 2024 with 1,431 yards and 11 TDs on the ground with a 4.7 YPC over 14 games, his best campaign since 2021. He has two years and $24 million left on his current contract with $7.2 million guaranteed for 2025, and as long as he can stay healthy he figures to remain the focal point of the Colts' offense next year while the team continues its efforts to develop QB Anthony Richardson (back).

  • Blake Corum RB | LAR

Rams' Blake Corum: Sidelined for playoffs

Corum fractured his forearm in Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Rams and will be sidelined for the entire postseason, coach Sean McVay said after the game, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

The Rams secured the No. 4 seed in the NFC at 10-7, but Corum's rookie season comes to a close at the end of the regular season due to an injury that will keep him out at least through the playoffs. A more concrete recovery timeline will likely be established in the coming days. The 2024 third-round draft pick rushed 58 times for 207 yards and tacked on seven catches for 58 yards (on eight targets) as the backup to Kyren Williams. Ronnie Rivers is the top candidate to step into the second spot on the depth chart.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Panthers' Miles Sanders: Productive in return to action

Sanders rushed 17 times for 66 yards and a touchdown and brought in three of four targets for 50 yards and another score in the Panthers' 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons on Sunday. He also fumbled once, but possession remained with Carolina.

Making his return from a six-game absence, Sanders had fresh legs and an exuberant play style in the wild regular-season finale. Sanders visited the end zone as both a rusher and receiver, striking via a 33-yard scoring reception and a game-winning one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and overtime, respectively. Sanders has had a rollercoaster first two seasons in Carolina due to both performance issues and injury, but he'll presumably have a chance for a clean slate and a healthy season in 2025.

  • Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Efficient in regular-season finale

Blackshear rushed four times for 47 yards in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons.

The Virginia Tech product returned to his reserve role, playing behind Miles Sanders, who delivered a monster performance in Sunday's overtime win with 20 touches for 116 yards and a touchdown. Blackshear was extremely effective with his limited opportunities, rushing for 47 yards on just four carries (11.8 yards per carry), including a 27-yard run in the second quarter that helped set up a Panthers touchdown. The 26-year-old appeared in 16 games for Carolina this season, totaling 80 rushing yards on just 15 carries. He added 791 kick return yards and 145 punt return yards, serving as the Panthers' primary return specialist throughout the year.

  • Mike Boone RB | MIA

Panthers' Mike Boone: Sees five touches in Week 18

Boone rushed four times for 18 yards and caught his only target for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons.

The 29-year-old shared the Panthers' top backup running back duties with Raheem Blackshear, playing behind Miles Sanders, who returned from an ankle injury in the Week 18 win. However, Boone was outproduced by both Sanders and Blackshear, as they averaged 5.8 and 11.8 yards per touch, respectively, compared to Boone's 3.2. The veteran back finished his 2024 campaign with 51 rushing yards on 13 carries, appearing in just six games.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Scores rush TD in win

Swift rushed 20 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and failed to bring in either of his two targets in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.

Swift finished off his Bears debut campaign in relatively productive fashion, posting a four-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter to round out a solid fantasy day. The veteran back fell just short of his second consecutive 1,000-yard season, compiling 959 rushing yards while playing all 17 regular-season games. Swift finished the season as the indisputable leader of the ground attack, and despite the fact there could be a new offensive system in place next season, he should retain the No. 1 role heading into the 2025 campaign.
