  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Gets limited role on offense

Chandler had four carries for 18 yards in Sunday's win at Jacksonville.

Chandler had played just two snaps on offense the previous two weeks after Cam Akers took over the backup running back role. Chandler only got on the field after Aaron Jones missed time late in the game due to a rib injury. Chandler could get some time on offense this week at Tennessee if Jones misses time or is limited with his health concern.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

    Panthers' Miles Sanders: Seeing specialist

Head coach Dave Canales said that Sanders will visit a specialist Monday for his knee/foot injury, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.

Sanders played six offensive snaps and rushed twice for five yards before exiting Sunday's overtime win over the Giants with the injury. Canales also noted the team doesn't have much information on Sanders' injury at the moment, but they should know more following Monday's visit. The Panthers have a Week 11 bye, giving Sanders an extra week to recover regardless of the severity of his issue.

  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Vikings' Cam Akers: Gets 13 carries in win

Akers had 13 carries for 38 yards and one reception for nine yards in Sunday's win at Jacksonville.

Akers played on 26 of the offense's 84 snaps as he got extra playing time late in the game when Aaron Jones missed time with sore ribs. It sounds like Jones won't miss time with the injury, but he could be limited, or the Vikings may want to play it safe with his usage this week at Tennessee. Akers could be set for more work as a result.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: May have practice limitations

Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that Jones (ribs) may be limited in practice this week but believes that the running back will be available for Sunday's game at Tennessee, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Jones missed about a quarter of action in the second half of Sunday's win in Jacksonville due to a chest injury but got back into the contest late in the fourth quarter. During his time off the field, he underwent X-rays that returned negative, per Seifert. O'Connell called Jones' health concern a rib issue Monday, so pain tolerance likely will be the running back's main impediment in the short term.

  • Gary Brightwell: Joins Bengals' practice squad

Cincinnati signed Brightwell to its practice squad Monday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.

Less than two weeks after being cut from the Browns' practice squad, Brightwell has now found another opportunity with their division rival. The Bengals currently have four running backs on their active roster, so it would probably take at least one injury for him to see any game action during the second half of the season.

  • Isiah Pacheco RB | DET

Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: May resume practicing soon

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Monday that Pacheco (fibula) is closing in on a return to practice, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports. "They're all close. JuJu closer than the other two," Reid said in regards to when Pacheco (fibula), wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) and defensive end Charles Omenihu (knee) might resume practicing.

The Chiefs must designate Pacheco for return from injured reserve in order for him to practice for the first time since he fractured his right fibula back on Sept. 15. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the team is eyeing a return for Pacheco in late November, so getting on the practice field this week would mean his 21-day window extends through the end of the month. In the meantime, though, Kareem Hunt will continue to dominate touches out of Kansas City's backfield.

  • 49ers' Isaac Guerendo: Resumes No. 3 role

Guerendo had one carry for zero yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.

With star running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) returning to action and backup Jordan Mason (shoulder) healthy, Guerendo was relegated to third on San Francisco's depth chart. The rookie logged just three snaps on offense (five percent) while taking his only touch for no gain. Guerendo produced a pair of strong fantasy performances in the weeks covering for his injured teammates, but managers can safely move on from the Louisville product in such a reduced role.

  • Broncos' Javonte Williams: One carry in loss

Williams rushed once for one yard and caught both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 16-14 loss to the Chiefs.

Williams had an extremely quiet Sunday against Kansas City, as the fourth-year running back took a clear back seat to rookie Audric Estime as a rusher. While Williams carried the ball only one time and played just 17 of the Broncos' 58 offensive snaps, Estime was relied upon heavily with 14 carries in the contest across his 26 snaps. It appears head coach Sean Payton's recent remarks about Estime taking on a bigger workload were more than just coach speak, so if he continues to pace the backfield in opportunities, Williams' days as a consistent fantasy contributor are likely in jeopardy. The 24-year-old will have his next opportunity to bounce back when the Broncos host the Falcons in Week 11.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

49ers' Jordan Mason: One carry with CMC back

Mason (shoulder) had one carry for five yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.

Mason was able to recover from a shoulder injury over San Francisco's bye week in order to suit up against Tampa Bay. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the first-half star was relegated to his usual backup role with Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) making his season debut off of injured reserve. This resulted in Mason assuming his regular low-usage role Sunday, a trend that should continue now that McCaffrey is back atop the depth chart. Mason can safely be dropped in standard formats as we look towards Week 11.

  • Steelers' Cordarrelle Patterson: Tallies 14 rushing yards

Patterson rushed three times for 14 yards during Sunday's 28-27 win over the Commanders.

Patterson made his return to the field Sunday after missing the Steelers' four games heading into their Week 9 bye due to an ankle injury. He was on the field for just eight offensive snaps but still logged three touches. Although it's encouraging to see Patterson back in action, he hasn't been a reliable fantasy option when healthy this year.
