Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Browns' Pierre Strong: Plays support role in win
Strong had four carries for 29 yards and lost a fumble in Thursday's 37-20 win over the Jets in Week 17.
Strong was on the field for 14 offensive snaps, getting work to spell both Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt in what became a blowout by the end of the first half. The quick turnaround added some intrigue, as Hunt dealt with a groin injury early in the practice week. However, Strong was not needed for anything more than the role he's played the last few weeks: a handful of touches and a healthy dose of special teams duty.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Doubtful for Sunday
Jacobs (quadriceps) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Colts, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Jacobs was deemed a 'DNP' Wednesday through Friday, and though his doubtful designation suggests that he'll be sidelined this weekend, interim coach Antonio Pierce still considers the running back a game-time decision. "No need to rush it," Pierce said of Jacobs' status. "If he can go at one o'clock on Sunday, I'm happy with that." If, however, Jacobs is inactive versus Indianapolis, Zamir White would once again lead the Raiders backfield in Week 17.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Good to go against Buffalo
Elliott (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Elliott didn't practice Thursday due to an illness but was removed from the injury report after returning to practice Friday. The veteran running back is set to lead New England's backfield for a fourth consecutive game Sunday in the absence of Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), with Kevin Harris and JaMycal Hasty comprising the running back depth behind Elliott.

Isiah Pacheco RB | DET
Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Questionable for Sunday
Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Pacheco made an early exit from Monday's loss to the Raiders to get a concussion check, and he eventually was ruled out after the head injury was confirmed. He then didn't practice until Friday, when he went down as a limited participant. Coach Andy Reid told Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com on Friday that Pacheco is in the last stages of the concussion protocol and feels OK. Still, Pacheco will need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play this weekend, something that'll be confirmed, one way or another, when the Chiefs post their inactives about 90 minutes before a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Kansas City's backfield is in flux with Jerick McKinnon (groin) on IR and Clyde Edwards-Helaire missing the final two sessions of Week 17 prep due to an illness, but Pacheco presumably would lead the group if he's able to suit up Sunday.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Questionable after two DNPs
Edwards-Helaire (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Edwards-Helaire didn't practice Thursday or Friday, and the Chiefs could be woefully shorthanded in the backfield if he's unavailable Sunday, as Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) is also listed as questionable. Pacheco was a limited participant in Friday's practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. La'Mical Perine is the only other running back on the roster, though Kansas City also has Deneric Prince and Keaontay Ingram on the practice squad. If Edwards-Helaire ultimately suits up Sunday and Pacheco doesn't, the 2020 first-round draft pick out of LSU would be in line to lead Kansas City's backfield.
-
Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Good to go against Seahawks
Harris (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Seahawks after practicing without limitations Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Harris raised his practice participation throughout the week and should handle his usual workload as the top option on the ground in Pittsburgh's backfield, with Jaylen Warren getting more opportunities in passing situations. Harris has been playing through this knee injury for a few weeks with mixed results, rushing for at least 78 yards and a touchdown twice in the last six games but falling short of 50 yards from scrimmage in three of the other four.
-
Ty Johnson RB | BUF
Bills' Ty Johnson: Cleared to return Week 17
Johnson (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Johnson practiced fully Friday to gain clearance after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. He's set to return from a one-game absence and continue splitting the leftovers behind starting running back James Cook with Latavius Murray, though Buffalo's backfield could get even more crowded if the Bills elevate Leonard Fournette from the practice squad again.
-
Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Questionable after limited practice
Miller (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Miller was a limited participant in all three of New Orleans' practices Wednesday through Friday. Per Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune, coach Dennis Allen said Miller will be available Sunday but wouldn't commit to Miller being active on the gameday roster. Allen's comments suggest that Miller's healthy enough to play, but the team may not trust the rookie to handle a role in a must-win game after being unavailable since Week 9.
-
Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Questionable due to late-week illness
Kamara (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay after missing practice Friday, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Kamara was an end-of-week addition to the injury report and now has two days to recover before the Saints play a game they need to win to have a realistic shot at making the playoffs. If Kamara ends up inactive ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday, the Saints likely will turn to Jamaal Williams for most of the backfield snaps, with Kendre Miller (ankle, questionable) and/or James Robinson (practice squad) potentially getting some snaps off the bench. A Kamara absence might also allow Taysom Hill to get more carries, though that's far from a sure thing given his recent lack of involvement in the New Orleans offense.

AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Clear for Sunday's contest
Dillon (thumb) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Both Aaron Jones (knee/finger) and Dillon operated with practice restrictions this week, but both players will be available to the Packers offense Sunday. In Week 16 at Carolina, Jones dominated the touches (22) and snap share (52 percent) on his way to 135 yards from scrimmage, while Dillon had seven carries for 12 yards and one touchdown on 18 percent of the plays. Dillon may increase that share due to being another week removed from the broken right thumb that sidelined him Week 15, but considering how Jones is running at the moment, the former may be relegated to short-yardage situations.
