  • Geoff Swaim TE | CLE

Titans' Geoff Swaim: Records one reception

Swaim recorded one catch on one target for five yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Commanders.

As has typically been the case, Swaim led the Titans' tight-end corps in snaps. However, he spent the vast majority of his time on the field blocking and has now earned one or fewer targets in three of five games this season. For the campaign, he has seven receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Won't return Monday

Waller (hamstring) was seen in street clothes on the Raiders' sideline and will not return to Monday's game against the Chiefs, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

Waller will finish Week 5 without a catch after exiting with a hamstring injury during the first half Monday. The star tight end now will have two weeks to recover before Las Vegas' next game against the Texans on Sunday, Oct. 23. With Waller out and Foster Moreau (knee) inactive, expect Jesper Horsted to step in as the Raiders' No. 1 tight end.

  • Nick Muse TE | LAR

Nick Muse: Returns to practice squad

Muse reverted to the Vikings' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Muse received the promotion with Ben Ellefson out with a groin injury. The rookie tight end played six snaps on special teams, but he did not record any stats. With Ellefson now on IR, it's possible Muse could be elevated to the active roster in Week 6 against the Dolphins.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Exits with hamstring issue

Waller (hamstring) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Chiefs, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Waller did not record a catch before exiting during the first half. The star tight end was limited in practice ahead of this contest with a shoulder injury, but he managed to return in full at last Friday's walkthrough. Waller came into Week 5 with 16 receptions (on 24 targets) for 175 yards and a touchdown through four games, and his absence could send more targets toward wideouts Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow.

  • Matt Sokol TE | BUF

Matt Sokol: Bumped back to practice squad

Sokol reverted to the Patriots' practice squad following Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions.

Sokol was elevated from the practice squad for the first time this season with No. 2 tight end Jonnu Smith (ankle) ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's win over Detroit. As a result, the 26-year-old played eight of New England's 60 offensive snaps behind starter Hunter Henry, though he did not attract a target from starting quarterback Bailey Zappe. Sokol will now be eligible for two more such elevations while on the Patriots' practice squad this season.

  • Brycen Hopkins TE | LAR

    Rams' Brycen Hopkins: Suspension over

Hopkins' three-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy was lifted Monday, per the league's transaction log.

Now that he's back on the Rams' active roster, Hopkins likely will slot in as the team's No. 2 tight end behind Tyler Higbee and in front of Kendall Blanton. In two games this season, Hopkins didn't receive a target while playing eight snaps on offense and six more on special teams.

  • Mason Schreck TE | HOU

Mason Schreck: Returns to practice squad

Schreck reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Schreck was elevated from the practice squad for the second game in a row Sunday, as starting tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) remained sidelined against Jacksonville. As a result, the 28-year-old played the second-most offensive snaps (24) amongst the Texans' tight ends behind O.J. Howard and ahead of Jordan Akins in Week 5. Schreck will now be eligible for one more game-day activation while on Houston's practice squad this season.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Jordan Akins: Back on practice squad

Akins reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Akins was activated for the third game in a row with starting tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) out again during Sunday's win over the Jaguars. While the 30-year-old tight end hauled in both of his targets for 22 yards, he saw his lowest playing time of the season -- 10 of Houston's 58 offensive snaps -- while filling in behind O.J. Howard (46 snaps) and Mason Schreck (24 snaps). Akins will now require a permanent spot on the active roster in order to suit up for the Texans again in 2022.

  • MyCole Pruitt TE | PIT

MyCole Pruitt: Moves back to practice squad

Pruitt reverted to the Falcons' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Pruitt was elevated to the active roster for the first time with starting tight end Kyle Pitts (hamstring) sidelined against the Buccaneers on Sunday. As a result, the ninth-year veteran played 12 of Atlanta's 66 offensive snaps behind Parker Hesse (41 snaps) and Anthony Firkser (15 snaps). Pruitt did not receive a target during Sunday's loss, and he will now be eligible for two more elevations while on the Falcons' practice squad this season.

  • Foster Moreau TE | HOU

    Raiders' Foster Moreau: Inactive Monday

Moreau (knee) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Chiefs.

With Moreau unavailable, look for Darren Waller to log the bulk of the Raiders' tight end snaps Monday, with Jesper Horsted in reserve. Moreau now will target a potential return to action Week 7, following his team's bye week.
