Greg Dulcich TE | MIA
Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Not practicing
Dulcich (undisclosed) was off to the side during Monday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
It's unclear what specifically is holding him back from fully participating, but it doesn't seem to be too serious because he's still working alongside the team. Dulcich earned praise from new head coach Nathaniel Hackett during OTAs, which suggests that when healthy he may be able to compete for reps at tight end behind Albert Okwuegbunam right away.

Darrell Daniels TE | DET
Darrell Daniels: Released by Houston
The Texans released Daniels on Friday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Daniels signed a contract with Houston in May after spending three years in Arizona. However, the Texans have opted to move on from the veteran tight end in favor of former Bengals tight end Mason Schreck, who signed with Houston on Friday.

Mason Schreck TE | HOU
Texans' Mason Schreck: Signs with Houston
The Texans signed Schreck (ankle) on Friday.
Schreck appeared in one game -- Week 11 against the Raiders -- with the Bengals last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. Now healthy, the 2017 seventh-round pick will look to compete for a roster spot in Houston. Schreck has appeared in 23 career games, but he's yet to catch a pass in the NFL.

Dalton Keene TE | HOU
Patriots' Dalton Keene: Remains limited with knee
Keene (knee) is still limited at mandatory minicamp, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Keene remains limited at practice while recovering from the meniscus surgery he had last August. His next major benchmark date will come late next month at training camp, when he'll presumably be ready to ramp up his activity. The tight enters the 2022 campaign as a depth piece behind Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Patriots' Hunter Henry: Dealing with undisclosed injury
Henry was limited during Wednesday's minicamp practice due to an undisclosed injury, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Henry and fellow tight end Dalton Keene (undisclosed) were both limited, along with Jakobi Meyers (undisclosed) and James White (hip). Cox noted that all four offensive weapons spent the majority of the session on the rehab field, but the severity of their respective injuries remains unknown.

Ian Thomas TE | LV
Panthers' Ian Thomas: Dealing with ankle issue
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said Wednesday that Thomas continues to be sidelined due to a high-ankle issue, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Rhule added that Thomas was inadvertently kicked during a practice session last week and has reminded sidelined since. It's unclear how serious the issue is, but the tight end's participation in training camp will give a better indication as to whether or not the injury will affect his availability for the start of the regular season.

Jesper Horsted TE | CAR
Raiders' Jesper Horsted: Signs with Las Vegas
Horsted signed a contract with the Raiders on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Horsted gets another chance after he was waived by Chicago in May following a failed physical. He'll need to make a strong impression to crack the depth chart at tight end after Las Vegas also signed Jacob Hollister and rookie UDFAs Cole Fotheringham and Travis Koontz this offseason.
-
James Mitchell TE | CAR
Lions' James Mitchell: Unavailable for Tuesday's practice
Mitchell (knee) was inactive for Tuesday's practice at mandatory minicamp, Jeremy Reisman of SB Nation reports.
The rookie remains unavailable while rehabbing his knee after suffering a torn ACL in his final season at Virginia Tech. Mitchell expected to receive full medical clearance by now and it's unclear if he did so and was merely being held out as a precaution, but he'll likely be ready to go for next month's training camp. He'll operate as a depth option behind T.J. Hockenson at tight end once healthy.
-
Tommy Sweeney TE | CHI
Bills' Tommy Sweeney: Sidelined with injury
Sweeney (undisclosed) did not participate in Tuesday's training session, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Sweeney was on the sideline for Tuesday's organized team activity while nursing an undisclosed injury. He enters the season as the third option at tight end behind Dawson Knox and O.J. Howard.
-
Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Still not practicing
Knox (undisclosed) didn't participate in Tuesday's mandatory minicamp practice, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Knox was dealing with a minor injury during OTAs, so it appears his extended absence is merely precautionary. The 2019 third-round pick caught a career-high nine touchdowns last season, but he may face competition for targets in 2022 from the recently signed O.J. Howard.
