  • Football Team's Ricky Seals-Jones: Doesn't practice again Thursday

Seals-Jones (concussion) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Seals-Jones entered the concussion protocol this past Sunday versus the Eagles after he toppled into a cameraman while attempting to catch a Taylor Heinicke pass along the right side of the end zone. The tight end required a backboard to get off the field, and his lack of practice reps so far this week has him trending in the wrong direction ahead of a Week 18 road game against the Giants. Friday's practice report ultimately could decide Seals-jones' fate for that contest. With Sammis Reyes (hamstring) logging a limited session Thursday, John Bates is the only healthy TE on Washington's active roster.

  • Chris Myarick TE | MIA

Chris Myarick: Joins Bengals' practice squad

The Bengals signed Myarick to their practice squad Thursday.

Myarick was waived by the Giants on Tuesday after spending seven straight games on the active roster, but he'll quickly land a role as organizational depth for Cincinnati. The 26-year-old made eight appearances for the Giants this year and secured three of six targets for 17 yards and a touchdown.

  • Scotty Washington: Back to practice squad

Washington (undisclosed) was restored to the Bengals' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Wednesday.

Washington landed on the COVID list over the weekend and was able to clear the league protocols over the past few days. He joined Cincinnati's practice squad in late December and will hope to make his NFL debut in Week 18.

  • Jesper Horsted TE | CAR

Bears' Jesper Horsted: Moves to injured reserve

Chicago placed Horsted on injured reserve Wednesday with an unspecified injury.

Horsted was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, but he's apparently still dealing with an unrelated issue. The depth tight end appeared in seven games during 2021 and caught two passes for 21 yards, both of which went for touchdowns.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Seahawks' Will Dissly: No practice Wednesday

Dissly (heel) didn't practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Dissly sustained an injury during a Week 17 win versus the Lions, which head coach Pete Carroll clarified as a "heel bruise or something" after the 51-29 win, per Boyle. While he failed to participate in the Seahawks' first Week 18 practice, Dissly has two more chances to fit in some activity ahead of Sunday's game at Arizona.

  • J.P. Holtz TE | NO

Bears' J.P. Holtz: Ready for Week 18

Holtz (personal) was a full practice participant Wednesday.

The tight end was away from the team Week 17 while tending to a personal matter. Now back at the practice facility, Holtz is slated to serve as a depth option at tight end in Sunday's finale against the Vikings.

  • Noah Fant TE | NO

Broncos' Noah Fant: Limited at Wednesday's practice

Fant (quadriceps) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Fant was also listed as a limited on Tuesday's estimated practice report after presumably picking up the injury while catching six of seven targets for 92 yards and a touchdown during the Week 17 loss to the Chargers. The 24-year-old could avoid an injury designation for Saturday's matchup with the Chiefs if he's able to practice fully Thursday.

  • Brock Wright TE | DET

Lions' Brock Wright: Limited practice Wednesday

Wright was a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a groin injury.

The tight end was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after his positive test for the virus forced to miss the Lions' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks. Wright wasn't known to be dealing with an injury prior to landing on the list, but his ability to practice Wednesday in any capacity bodes well for his chances to play Sunday against the Packers.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Off COVID list, limited in practice

The Raiders activated Waller (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

Per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com the tight end -- who last suited up Week 12 on account of a knee injury -- was a limited participant in practice, the first time he's taken part in any on-field activity with his teammates since getting hurt. Waller is trending in the right direction as Sunday's regular season finale against the Chargers approaches, but he would presumably need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid taking an injury designation into the weekend.

  • C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI

Bengals' C.J. Uzomah: Bothered by knee, hip

Uzomah didn't practice Wednesday due to knee and hip injuries, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

The two injuries are seemingly new concerns for Uzomah, who played 90 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps in Sunday's 34-31 win over Kansas City. He may handle a smaller workload this week even if the knee and hip injuries turn out to be insignificant, as it's already known that the Bengals plan to rest Joe Burrow and start Brandon Allen at quarterback instead.
