  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Makes six catches

Higbee caught six passes for 69 yards on nine targets against Baltimore on Sunday.

Higbee was the Rams' most effective pass catcher in the first quarter and his nine targets led the team, but they weren't particularly high-value looks. That Higbee saw more targets than Cooper Kupp (seven), Odell Beckham (seven) and Van Jefferson (five) could be viewed as an outlier in and of itself, so it's probably not something the Rams will look to repeat going forward. Higbee has a reasonably consistent role, but the target volume is unlikely to replicate itself in Week 18 against the 49ers.

  • Cole Kmet TE | CHI

Bears' Cole Kmet: Comes up small in victory

Kmet caught two of four targets for 25 yards in the Bears' 29-3 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Kmet finished third on the team in targets, but the Chicago passing attack was inefficient, and Darnell Mooney was the only Bears pass catcher who had success in this contest. With at least three receptions in each of his last six games, he'll have a solid scoring floor in Week 18 against the Vikings.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Cools off after early TD

Kelce caught five of seven targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Bengals. He had minus-1 yard on one rushing attempt.

Kelce scored from three yards out in the first quarter and came inches from scoring his second touchdown of the game in the second. He was ruled just short and Darrel Williams scored on the ground on the next play. After looking unstoppable in the first half en route to a 28-17 lead, the entire Chiefs offense struggled in the second half as Cincinnati came back to end Kansas City's winning streak at eight games. With the top seed in the AFC still up for grabs, Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs stars should see their usual heavy workload in Week 18 against the Broncos.

  • MyCole Pruitt TE | PIT

Titans' MyCole Pruitt: Exits with ankle injury

Pruitt is out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to an ankle injury, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Pruitt appeared to suffer a serious ankle injury in the second half of the game. He was carted off the field in an aircast and ruled out quickly thereafter. Anthony Firkser and Geoff Swaim should see an increased role in his absence.

  • Football Team's Ricky Seals-Jones: Exits Sunday's game

Seals-Jones was forced out of Sunday's game against the Eagles with a neck injury.

Prior to his exit from the contest, Seals-Jones -- who will not return to action Sunday -- caught one of his two targets for eight yards. In his absence, John Bates is slated to head Washington's Week 17 tight end corps.

  • Chris Myarick TE | MIA

Giants' Chris Myarick: Ready for Sunday

Myarick (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Myarick was questionable due to the hip injury but has been cleared to take the field. The 26-year-old should fill his usual role as New York's No. 3 tight end with Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph healthy.

  • J.P. Holtz TE | NO

    Bears' J.P. Holtz: Out Sunday

Holtz (personal) is inactive Sunday against the Giants.

Holtz was considered doubtful after not being with the team Thursday or Friday due to the personal matter. As he mainly contributes on special teams, Holtz' absence shouldn't impact the Bears' game plan when they host the Giants on Sunday.

  • Miller Forristall: Out with injury

The Browns placed Forristall on the practice squad injured list Saturday with a hamstring injury.

Forristall re-signed with Cleveland's practice squad earlier in the weekend. The 23-year-old will need to be on the injured list for at least three weeks, so his only chance of seeing the field again this season is if the Browns make the playoffs.

  • Tommy Tremble TE | CAR

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Not activated for Week 17

Tremble (illness) won't be available for Sunday's game in New Orleans after the Panthers didn't activate him from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to Saturday's deadline for week 17 roster moves, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Considering Tremble was placed on the list Friday, he was never likely to test out of the NFL's COVID-19 return-to-play protocol 48 hours later. Ian Thomas is expected to replace Tremble as the Panthers' starting tight end Sunday, though he likely won't see as much involvement in the passing game.

  • Hayden Hurst TE | LAC

Falcons' Hayden Hurst: Won't play Week 17

Hurst (illness) won't be available for Sunday's game against the Bills after the Falcons didn't activate him from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to Saturday's deadline for Week 17 roster moves, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Hurst is one of two key Atlanta pass catchers that will remain on the list for the Week 17 contest, joining receiver Tajae Sharpe (illness). The blocking-oriented Lee Smith will serve as the top backup to starting tight end Kyle Pitts, while Sharpe's absence will likely allow Olamide Zaccheaus and Christian Blake to join Russell Gage in three-receiver sets.
