Okwuegbunam (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Okwuegbunam is thus eligible to resume practicing as of Tuesday, but because he's still on IR, the Broncos won't have to disclose the extent of his participation until he officially rejoins the 53-man roster. With that in mind, gauging whether he's on pace to play Sunday against Washington could be difficult, but whenever he's brought off IR within the next 21 days, he should step back in as the No. 2 tight end behind Noah Fant. Before he landed on IR on Oct. 9 due to his hamstring injury, Okwuegbunam recorded nine receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets through Denver's first four games.

Oliver caught two of five targets for 29 yards against the Bengals on Sunday.

This was Oliver's best game of the season, as he notched season highs in yards (29), snaps (19) and targets (5). He has seen more than 15 snaps in back-to-back weeks, but Sunday was likely an anomaly in terms of his target volume. Baltimore is on bye before returning Week 9 to face Minnesota.

Hudson reverted to San Francisco's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Hudson was elevated to the 49ers' active roster for Sunday's game against the Colts with George Kittle (calf) on injured reserve. The tight end saw just three snaps on special teams in the contest. Hudson now heads to the practice squad to await his next opportunity.

Blanton reverted to Los Angeles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Blanton was active for the first time this season for Sunday's win over the Lions. The tight end logged just two offensive snaps and six snaps on special teams. Blanton will now rejoin the practice squad and await another opportunity to be elevated to the active roster.

Bushman reverted to Las Vegas' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Bushman made his debut on the active roster in Week 7 against the Eagles, playing on just 11 offensive snaps. He also was in on two special teams snaps. The tight end failed to record a single target in the contest.

Trautman caught all three of his targets for 36 yards and lost a fumble in Monday's 13-10 win over the Seahawks.

Trautman's fumble set up Seattle's game-tying field goal in the third quarter, but New Orleans scored the only points of the fourth on a field goal with 1:59 remaining to secure the victory and bail out the tight end. Though he actually ranked second on the team in receiving yards in this game, Trautman has just nine catches for 100 yards without a touchdown this season heading into a Week 8 visit from the Buccaneers.

Wright reverted to Detroit's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Wright was elevated to the active roster ahead of Week 7 against the Rams, and he managed to make his season debut. He logged 17 snaps on offense and 20 on special teams, registering one tackle on kick coverage.

Dwelley had one reception (two targets) for five yards in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Colts.

Charlie Woerner (30 snaps) officially got the start for the first time this season, but Dwelley stuck around as "co-starter" with 27 offensive snaps logged (48 percent). The former is the more athletic option -- as evidenced by his greater production with the same amount of targets -- but neither is really a fantasy option at this point. The tight end duo will fill in for George Kittle (calf) for at least one more game while the star mends on IR.

Woerner started and logged 30 offensive snaps (54 percent) Sunday, finishing with two receptions (two targets) for 30 yards in a 30-18 loss to the Colts.

Woerner took over for Ross Dwelley (27 snaps) as the 49ers' temporary starting tight end while George Kittle (calf) mends on injured reserve. Neither player made much noise from a fantasy perspective, and that's likely to remain the same in next week's tilt against the Bears.

Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said Waller (ankle) is day-to-day and will remain in Las Vegas during the team's Week 8 bye to receive further treatment, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Prior reports have classified the injury that kept Waller out of Sunday's 33-22 win over the Eagles as an inner ankle/heel strain, and while the team hasn't confirmed that diagnosis, Bisaccia noted that the tight end isn't believed to have suffered any structural damage. The fact that the Raiders are describing Waller as day-to-day rather than week-to-week seemingly bodes well for his chances of being ready to go following a well-timed Week 8 bye. Foster Moreau (six receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown on six targets) filled in capably as the team's starting tight end Week 7, but the Las Vegas offense would surely benefit from having its top pass catcher in Waller available for a Week 9 matchup with the Giants on Nov. 7.
