Hunter Long TE | JAC
Jaguars' Hunter Long: Missing another practice
Long (hip/knee) is not participating in practice Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Long is missing a second consecutive practice, making his status for Week 10 cloudy. With Brenton Strange (quadriceps) still on IR, Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris will operate as Jacksonville's top tight ends versus Houston on Sunday if Long is unavailable. Jordan Akins and Patrick Herbert would also be candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.

Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Avoids injury report
Dissly (illness) was not listed on Wednesday's injury report, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Dissly was a healthy scratch for Week 8 and then sat out Week 9 due to an illness, but he's now fully recovered. There's no guarantee that Dissly will be active for Sunday's game against the Steelers, however, even at full health. Tucker Fisk and Tyler Conklin have operated as Los Angeles' top reserve tight ends following the emergence of Oronde Gadsden.

Josh Oliver TE | MIN
Vikings' Josh Oliver: Still not practicing Wednesday
Oliver (foot) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Oliver was forced to miss Sunday's game at Detroit because of a foot sprain he suffered in Week 8 against the Chargers, and now his status for Week 10 is in question, too. He'll probably need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play Sunday versus the Ravens.
-
Jack Stoll TE | NO
Saints' Jack Stoll: Turns in limited practice
Stoll (ankle) logged a limited practice Wednesday.
Stoll was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain following Sunday's loss to the Rams and is considered week-to-week. That makes it surprising that he practiced in any capacity Wednesday, though he is still likely a long shot to play in Week 10 against the Panthers.
-
Harrison Bryant TE | HOU
Texans' Harrison Bryant: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Bryant (shoulder) didn't participate in Houston's practice Wednesday.
Bryant popped up on the injury report after catching one pass for two yards in the Week 9 loss to the Broncos. The Texans could be shorthanded at tight end for Sunday's matchup versus the Jaguars, as Dalton Schultz is dealing with a knee injury, and Cade Stover (foot) is still on injured reserve.
-
Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Returns to practice
Morris (groin) was a full participant in Jacksonville's practice Wednesday.
Morris returned to practice after missing the past two games with a groin injury. The 26-year-old has yet to record a catch this season and should continue to see the majority of his playing time on special teams.
-
Josiah Deguara TE | ARI
Cardinals' Josiah Deguara: Back with Cards
Arizona signed Deguara on Wednesday.
Deguara was cut by the Cardinals on Tuesday, but with the passing of the trade deadline, he'll rejoin the 53-man roster just one day later. He'll serve as a depth tight end and should have a role on special teams for the Cardinals in this Sunday's game in Seattle.
-
Darnell Washington TE | PIT
Steelers' Darnell Washington: Nursing foot injury
Washington (foot) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Washington played 52 snaps (41 on offense, 11 on special teams) and logged four catches (on six targets) for 43 yards during the Steelers' Week 9 win over the Colts, but the third-year pro appears to have sustained a foot injury in the process. He'll have two more opportunities to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Will miss second straight
Adkins (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Denver's game against the Raiders on Thursday.
Adkins is set to miss his second straight game. He has been unable to practice in any capacity since originally suffering the injury, so it's unclear when he may be able to return. Adam Trautman played a season-high 73 percent of offensive snaps in Adkins' absence in Week 9, and he should see an expanded role once again.
-
AJ Barner TE | SEA
Seahawks' AJ Barner: Tending to calf issue
Barner was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a calf injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Barner has earned at least an 80 percent snap share in six of eight games this season, but the cumulative results in the box score (21 catches for 236 yards on 26 targets) have been tepid aside from his penchant for getting in the end zone, which he's done four times. He'll have two more opportunities to get back to full this week or else risk entering the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest against the Cardinals.
