Njoku is still viewed as part of the Browns' plans following the NFL Draft, Marla Ridnour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

The Browns are expected to involve their tight ends more this season under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, which suggests Njoku should be safe. However, they added Austin Hooper in free agency and then drafted Florida Atlantic tight end Harrison Bryant in the fourth round (115th overall) in the draft. That creates a whiff of uncertainty regarding Njoku's role in 2020 and long-term standing with the organization. "David has always been and continues to be in our plans," said general manager Andrew Berry, who did not directly address picking up Njoku's fifth-year option but added he's "part of our long-term plans." The tight end enters his fourth season, and the Browns must decide on the option prior to May 3. Njoku was limited to four games in 2019 due to a broken wrist.

Hill has signed a contract extension with the Saints, Amie Just of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Per Just, the deal is "essentially a one-year extension to the first-round tender the Saints placed on Hill in free agency." In that context, Adam Schefter of ESPN relays that Sunday's agreement with the QB effectively amounts to a one-year, $16.3 million extension. Hill is thus slated to remain in the New Orleans signal-caller mix through the 2021 campaign. This coming season, he'll continue to work behind long-term starter Drew Brees as well garner touches in the team's offense as a gadget player. Additionally, the Saints are reportedly on the verge of adding free agent Jameis Winston.

Ellefson is expected to sign with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Ellefson spent his collegiate career at North Dakota State and caught 15 passes for 199 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games during his senior season.

Sutton will sign with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Sutton spent the last two seasons at Fresno State and caught nine passes for 154 yards in 10 games during his career. He profiles as a potential red-zone threat at 6-foot-6, 226 pounds.

The Seahawks selected Sullivan in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 251st overall.

Seattle traded back into the draft to nab Sullivan out of LSU, making him the second tight end selected by the club on Day 3 of the draft, joining Colby Parkinson out of Stanford. It was surprising to see Sullivan get drafted before LSU teammate Thaddeus Moss, but Sullivan's profile is intriguing. He's 6-foot-5 and 248 pounds with 35.38-inch arms, and with his 123-inch broad jump and 36.5-inch vertical, Sullivan has a rare catch radius. His production lagged at LSU, as he never recorded more than 363 receiving yards in a season. Sullivan started out as a receiver before moving to tight end, so he's still a project in terms of learning the position. Still, his physical traits make him worthy of a late-round flier.

The Jaguars selected Davis in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 206th overall.

Davis played a part-time role during his four-year career at Georgia Tech, never amassing more than 22 catches in a season. He notched 17 catches for 148 yards and one touchdown as a senior in 2019. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end now stands to compete for a depth role as a blocker in Jacksonville.

The 49ers selected Woerner in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 190th overall.

Woerner played a part-time role during his four-year collegiate tenure at Georgia, mostly seeing utilization as a lead blocker. Due to Woerner's bulk (6-foot-5, 244 pounds) and willingness to embrace contact, he has a shot at earning a role as a blocker in the run game for San Francisco.

The Seahawks selected Parkinson in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 133rd overall.

Parkinson (6-foot-7, 252) was a reasonably productive player at Stanford, but his prospect profile has some concerning details. Namely, it's not great when a player is one of the tallest at his position while still weighing less than average. It makes him a big target for defenders to get their hands on, and it leaves him with a relatively low BMI for generating anchor leverage. Parkinson's athleticism otherwise grades as average with a 4.77-second 40-yard dash. It's difficult to imagine Parkinson playing much with Greg Olsen, Will Dissly and Jacob Hollister already on the roster. Indeed, look for Parkinson to be healthy scratch much of the time in 2020.

The Broncos selected Okwuegbunam in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 118th overall.

It's not a good landing spot for Okwuegbunam's fantasy value, but it leaves the Broncos with one of the most loaded groups of pass-catching prospects. As much as Noah Fant is the established starting tight end in Denver, Okwuegbunam (6-foot-5, 258 pounds) is a similarly talented athlete out of Missouri, logging a 4.49-second 40-yard dash at the combine following a college career where he was known for his red-zone prowess. There's a non-zero chance that Okwuegbunam emerges as the better player in the long term, and he should benefit by reuniting with former Missouri teammate Drew Lock. In the short term, though, there just aren't many targets up for grabs behind Fant, Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler and Melvin Gordon.

Tonyan (abdomen) has officially signed his exclusive-rights free agent tender from the Packers, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

This was just a formality, as Tonyan was always expected to sign the tender. He is now set to compete with Jace Sternberger, veteran Marcedes Lewis and the recently drafted Josiah Deguara for snaps at tight end. The 25-year-old has worked his way up ladder since joining the organization as a member of the practice squad in 2017.
