Lewis agreed to a one-year, $2.25 million contract with the Packers on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Lewis was on the open market for a few hours, but he's decided to stick with the Packers for a third straight year. The 35-year-old tight end finished 2019 with 15 receptions for 156 yards and a touchdown. With Jimmy Graham having left for Chicago, Lewis temporarily sits atop the depth chart at tight end, but it would be surprising if he led the position group in snaps in 2020. He'll likely face competition from Jace Sternberger and Robert Tonyan throughout the offseason program and training camp, and the Packers will likely address the position with another free-agent pickup or draft selection.

The Packers tendered a contract Tuesday to Tonyan (abdomen), an exclusive-rights free agent, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Tonyan will return to Green Bay for at least another year after having initially joined the organization as a member of the practice squad in 2017. Following the departure of Jimmy Graham, the 25-year-old looks in line to handle an expanded role in the Packers' tight end corps during the 2020 campaign, along with second-year pro Jace Sternberger and veteran Marcedes Lewis. He's still recovering from core muscle surgery, which he underwent in February.

Mundt will remain with the Rams after the team placed a contract tender on the exclusive rights free agent Tuesday.

The 25-year-old was primarily used as a blocker in 2019, hauling in only four passes for 26 yards. Through 13 games, he saw 367 total snaps across offense and special teams, and Mundt was only targeted seven times. He'll likely continue his depth tight end role for the Rams in 2020.

The Jaguars will release Swaim (concussion/ankle), Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Swaim logged 13 catches for 65 yards in six games during his lone season with Jacksonville in 2019 before being placed on IR in October. The 2015 seventh-rounder, who started his career with the Cowboys, will now look to catch on elsewhere, but he'd need to land in an ideal situation in order to carve out any sort of high-volume passing role.

The Bears signed Graham to a two-year contract Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Considering the uncertainty elsewhere in Chicago's tight end group, Graham forecasts to serve as the team's No. 1 tight end in 2020, with $9 million guaranteed on the deal and the potential to earn $16 million overall. In two seasons with the Packers prior to his release last Thursday, the 33-year-old notched 93 catches (on 149 targets) for 1,083 yards and five touchdowns across 32 games.

The Seahawks have placed a second-round tender on Hollister, a restricted free agent, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Seattle obtained Hollister last offseason from New England for a seventh-round pick, so the former is getting significant return on its investment. He fared well once he elevated to the 53-man roster prior to Week 6 last season and ended up with 41 receptions (on 59 targets) for 349 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Assuming he sticks with the Seahawks, Hollister will have additional competition at tight end in the form of free-agent addition Greg Olsen while the unit waits out the recovery of Will Dissly (Achilles).

Brown (illness) will remain with the Browns after the team placed a contract tender on the exclusive rights free agent.

The 25-year-old had a quiet role for the Browns in 2019, suiting up in just nine games, and he accumulated two catches for 27 yards. With the team signing Austin Hooper to the richest contract for a tight end in the league Monday, Brown likely will assume a depth or blocking role heading into the 2020 season.

Hooper is poised to sign a four-year, $42 million deal with the Browns, Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reports.

Breer notes that the tight end is in line to earn $23 million over the first two years of the deal, all of which is slated to be guaranteed. With Hooper set to join the mix, David Njoku's volume figures to take a hit. Hooper is coming off a 2019 campaign in which he set career highs in catches (75), yards (787) and TDs (six), while playing 13 games. The money Cleveland plans to give him is a clear indication that he'll be a focal part of the team's passing attack in 2020.

The Ravens are trading Hurst and a fourth-round pick to the Falcons in exchange for a second-round pick and a fifth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Atlanta completed the trade shortly after reports emerged of Austin Hooper signing a contract with Cleveland. Hurst has shown flashes of his potential since Baltimore drafted him in the first round two years ago, but playing time was hard to come by on a team with Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle at tight end. Hurst should see far more snaps and targets in Atlanta, joining an offense that's regularly among the most pass-heavy in the league. He should immediately slot in atop the depth chart, ahead of Jaeden Graham and Carson Meier.

The Saints have placed a first-round tender on Hill, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports.

As expected, New Orleans made the move, which almost assuredly means Hill is in a Saints uniform in 2020. With Teddy Bridgewater expected to move on, Hill will move into the backup job to starting QB Drew Brees. Hill's gadget role in the offense shouldn't dry up, though, after he posted 119 passing yards, 590 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns over the past two campaigns.
