  • Nick Vannett TE | SEA

Seahawks' Nick Vannett: Questionable for Sunday

Vannett (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Vannett's only practice participation of the week came in a limited session Friday. The 24-year-old would serve his usual role as the Seahawks' No. 3 tight end with second-stringer Luke Willson (ankle) expected to play Sunday.

  • Zach Ertz TE | WAS

Eagles' Zach Ertz: Unlikely to finish game

Ertz's head coach, Doug Pederson, said some of the Eagles' key players won't play all of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, ESPN.com's Tim McManus reports.

Ertz obviously falls into that category, along with Nick Foles, Alshon Jeffery, Jay Ajayi and Nelson Agholor. Pederson doesn't seem inclined to hold any healthy players out entirely, but it won't come as any surprise if Ertz is limited to a first-quarter cameo. A full half is probably the best that can be hoped for.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Likely sitting out Sunday

Kelce is expected to take a seat Sunday at Denver, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

On Wednesday, head coach Andy Reid made the decision to give Patrick Mahomes an opportunity as the starting quarterback Week 17. With Alex Smith getting some rest in advance of the playoffs, the writing was on the wall for the Chiefs' other skill-position players, namely Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt. Per BJ Kissel of the team's official site, Hill already has been ruled out for Sunday's game, but the decision on Kelce and Hunt evidently will have to wait until the inactive list is posted. In Kelce's place, expect Demetrius Harris to handle most of the reps at tight end this weekend.

  • MarQueis Gray TE | MIA

Dolphins' MarQueis Gray: Questionable for Week 17

Gray (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Gray injured his hip last week against the Chiefs, but he returned to practice Thursday and logged a full Friday session. Consequently, he seems more likely than not to suit up. If he doesn't, Thomas Duarte could see additional reps.

  • Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN

Jaguars' Marcedes Lewis: Good to play Sunday

Lewis (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Tennessee.

Lewis has dealt with injuries at various points this season but hasn't missed a game to date. He won't break the streak this weekend, either, despite following a limited/DNP/limited practice regimen this week. Nonetheless, there's a chance Lewis gets some rest Sunday with the Jaguars locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs, which would allow James O'Shaughnessy and Ben Koyack to get some run.

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: Cleared for Week 17

Graham (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Per usual, Graham missed some practice time during the week but was never in any actual danger of sitting out a game. He's caught just two of five targets for two yards the past three games, though he did at least venture back into the end zone in last week's 21-12 win over the Cowboys. Graham caught six of nine targets for 27 yards and two scores in a 22-16 win over the Cardinals in Week 10.

  • Evan Engram TE | DEN

Giants' Evan Engram: Ruled out for finale

Engram (ribs) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Although he avoided any fractures in his ribs, Engram was held out of practice all week and seemingly never stood much chance to play in the season finale. Rhett Ellison and Jerell Adams will take over at tight end this weekend, while Engram finishes his campaign with one of the better stat lines by a rookie tight end in recent memory, though he needed 115 targets to get to 64 catches for 722 yards and six scores. While clearly locked in as a big part of the Giants' future, Engram will have a tough time wrangling 7.7 targets per game next season unless the team deals with another onslaught of injuries to its receiving corps. His projected 2018 value is difficult to gauge, as the Giants will enter the offseason without a clear starting quarterback for the first time since 2004.

  • Evan Engram TE | DEN

Giants' Evan Engram: Not participating Friday

Engram (ribs) did not participate in Friday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Engram injured his ribs in last week's loss to the Cardinals, and it appears likely the setback will cut short his rookie season. The Giants will reveal Engram's official status for Week 17 after Friday's session comes to a close.

  • Troy Niklas TE | TB

Cardinals' Troy Niklas: Limited participant Thursday

Niklas (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Niklas sat out Sunday's win over the Giants and was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice. The 25-year-old did not practice last week and will likely need at least another limited session Friday to be available for the season finale.

  • Ryan Hewitt TE | TEN

Bengals' Ryan Hewitt: Returns in full Thursday

Hewitt (knee) was a full participant during Thursday's practice session.

Hewitt started the week as a limited participant and did not carry an injury designation into last Sunday's win over the Lions. The 26-year-old appears on track to play Week 17, barring a setback at Friday's practice.
