Gerald Everett TE | CHI
Rams' Gerald Everett: No practice Monday
Everett (thigh) didn't practice Monday, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.
Everett came out of Sunday's loss to the Redskins with a bruised thigh, so it's not surprising he was given the day off Monday. The rookie's participation in practice the rest of the week will shed more light on his availability for Thursday's matchup with the 49ers.

Austin Hooper TE | ATL
Falcons' Austin Hooper: Comes back to earth in win
One week after averaging 64 yards per reception, Hooper only managed two receptions for seven yards Sunday against the Packers, but the Falcons walked away with the 34-23 win.
Despite his Week 1 stat line, Hooper appears to be more of a red-zone threat than a huge yardage guy. He almost scored against the Packers, but a less-than-perfect pass gave the defense time to take Hooper down short of the goal line. The Falcons play in a dome for the next three weeks, which bodes well for their offense, so don't be surprised if Hooper sees some more red-zone looks in the near future.

Jesse James TE | LV
Steelers' Jesse James: Doesn't expect to miss time
James injured his ankle in Sunday's 26-9 win over Minnesota, but he plans to play against the Bears in Week 3, ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler reports.
James played through the injury in Week 2, catching four of five targets for 27 yards while playing 96 percent of the offensive snaps. Though likely to land on the injury report, he apparently isn't too worried about his availability for Sunday. With Vance McDonald (back) also banged up, the Steelers might be down to Xavier Grimble at tight end if James unexpectedly misses time.
-
Dwayne Allen TE | NE
Patriots' Dwayne Allen: Sees 46 snaps in Week 2
Allen was on the field for 46 of the Patriots' 76 snaps on offense in Sunday's 36-20 win over the Saints, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
In the process, Allen was targeted once and held without a catch for the second straight game. Allen's fantasy utility continues to be tied to the health of fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was forced out of Sunday's contest with a groin injury. Gronkowski's Week 3 status has yet to be clarified, so Allen might be worth a roster stash in deeper formats to see how his talented teammate's injury situation plays out.

Gerald Everett TE | CHI
Rams' Gerald Everett: Dealing with thigh contusion
Everett came out of Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Redskins with a thigh contusion, Lindsey Thiry of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Everett surprisingly has a team-high 134 receiving yards through two games, benefitting from gains of 69 and 39 yards among his four receptions on four targets. While the efficient production could earn him a larger role in the passing game, it'll be hard to get excited about Everett's fantasy prospects unless he usurps Tyler Higbee as the Rams' top tight end. Everett's thigh injury doesn't sound serious, but it could limit his practice participation ahead of a Week 3 game in San Francisco.

Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Titans' Jonnu Smith: Catches first career touchdown
Smith caught two of three targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-16 win at Jacksonville.
Smith's 32-yard score in the fourth quarter was the first touchdown of his career and the only one thrown by quarterback Marcus Mariota through two games this season. The rookie tight end remains the clear-cut No. 2 option at the position behind veteran Delanie Walker, who led the team with 61 receiving yards and found pay dirt on the ground. Smith's value is capped as long as Walker stays healthy, but his long-term upside is undeniable.

Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN
Jaguars' Marcedes Lewis: No catches in Week 2 beatdown
Lewis was held without a catch in the Jaguars' Week 2 loss to the Titans.
For the second straight week, Lewis was targeted twice but was unable to register a catch on an afternoon in which the Jags' passing offense struggled mightily. With Blake Bortles at the helm, Lewis can be safely ignored in standard-sized leagues, with his only real value coming as a potential touchdown vulture in the red zone -- and even that might be optimistic. Since the start of the 2015 season (28 games played), Lewis has only 36 catches and one touchdown.

Jimmy Graham TE | NO
Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: Uncertain for Week 3
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Graham is dealing with a sore ankle and may not be able to play Sunday at Tennessee, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Carroll referred to Graham's injury as a "banged knee" Sunday and a "sore ankle" Monday. Either way, the tight end likely is dealing with some swelling after getting his leg caught under a defender in Sunday's 12-9 win over the 49ers. He was able to continue playing but finished with only one catch for one yard on two targets. Given his poor performance and lack of involvement in the offense through two games, Graham will be a risky Week 3 start if he's available but somewhat limited.
-
George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Catches two passes Sunday
Kittle (hamstring) caught two passes for 13 yards in Sunday's 12-9 loss to Seattle.
The rookie tight end was limited in practice by a nagging hamstring injury but was able to suit up for the second consecutive Sunday. Kittle has recorded just 40 receiving yards through two games, but he he also leads all San Francisco tight ends in receptions (seven) and targets (eight). The 49ers' stagnant offense hasn't provided much value outside of Carlos Hyde, but the big-bodied tight end represents one of its better red-zone targets if and when the Niners are finally able to hit paydirt this season.
-
Hunter Henry TE | NE
Chargers' Hunter Henry: Catches seven passes Sunday
Henry caught all seven of his targets for 80 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Dolphins.
One week after not seeing a single target, Henry poured on the receptions, with only Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon catching as many passes. While it was Antonio Gates who saw the targets in the red zone, converting one for a touchdown, that may actually be good news for Henry, as the team had been vocal about seeing Gates break Tony Gonzalez's career touchdown mark for tight ends. With the 37-year-old's 112th career touchdown now in the record books, don't be surprised to see Henry earn a few more opportunities on offense, with the Chargers intent on developing their young tight end.
