Texans tight end Garrett Graham got the start in Week 6 against the Rams with Owen Daniels out, but he did not see his role in the offense grow as much as expected in a 38-13 loss.

Graham was targeted just four times in the passing game, bringing in two receptions for 25 yards.

Graham is still expected to see more work with Daniels out, but the Texans are working the kinks out of their offense at this time. They take on the Chiefs in Week 7. 

Chiefs tight ends Kevin Brock and Sean McGrath were not major weapons used by quarterback Alex Smith during Sunday's Week 6 home game against Oakland.

Brock finished the game with one reception for 9 yards on his only target. McGrath, the starter, did not make a catch and was targeted three times in the game.

The Chiefs get set to play at home against Houston Week 7 and the tight end remains a position under-utilized by the team's offense.

The Jaguars have made QB Blaine Gabbert, WR Stephen Burton, CB Dwayne Gratz, TE Marcedes Lewis, DE Jeremy Mincey, OL Jacques McClendon and OL DeMarcus Love inactive for Week 6 against the Broncos. 

The moves shouldn't come as a surprise as five of these players were ruled out Friday. McClendon and Love are healthy scratches.

The Philadelphia Eagles are fairly healthy heading into the Week 6 game Sunday at Tampa Bay. Almost all of the Eagles' listed inactive players are healthy scratches and are not dealing with any discernible injuries.

Those healthy scratches are as follows: OL Matt Tobin; OL Dennis Kelly; CB Jordan Poyer; CB Shaun Prater; DE Damion Square; and TE Emil Igwenagu.

Eagles tight end James Casey is inactive for the Week 6 game on Sunday at Tampa Bay. James has been limited by a groin injury and could not suit up Sunday, despite being able to practice in full Friday. He has one catch this season in five games for 12 yards and a first down. 

The Kansas City Chiefs have promoted rookie safety Bradley McDougald to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday. He takes the roster spot of tight end Travis Kelce, who was placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season. 

With Owen Daniels landing on injured reserve, Texans tight end Garrett Graham has a chance to break out, and he will get his first chance in Week 6 against the Rams Sunday.

If their track record is any indication, the Rams could hold Graham in check. Only one tight end has reached double figures in points against St. Louis this season, when Jason Witten of the Cowboys accomplished the feat in Week 3. Overall, opposing tight ends are averaging just 6.0 Fantasy points per game against the Rams.

Still, the Texans like the use their tight ends plenty in the passing game, and Graham has already shown flashes of being a productive option. He is a worthy starter in most Fantasy formats for Week 6. 

Three Chiefs tight ends are on the Friday injury report with various degrees of ailments. Starter-by-default Sean McGrath (knee) is probable, but Anthony Fasano is doubtful and Travis Kelce is out with the same injury.

Eagles tight end James Casey is questionable against the Buccaneers Week 6.

James has been limited by a groin injury, but was able to practice in full Friday. He was limited in practice Thursday.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has been so amazing this year that one of his worst performances of the season was in Week 5 at Chicago. All he had was 10 catches for 135 yards. He just didn't score a touchdown for the first time this year.

Graham has scored at least 10 Fantasy points in every game, and he's been over 100 receiving yards in four games in a row. He might have a tough test in Week 6 at New England, but every Fantasy owner should keep him active.

Only one tight end has hurt the Patriots this season, but it was the only legitimate tight end they have faced, which was Tony Gonzalez in Week 5. He had 12 catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 14 targets, and it wouldn't be shocking to see Graham reach those totals -- he's already scored two touchdowns in a game twice this year.

The other tight ends New England has faced of note are Scott Chandler, Kellen Winslow, Tyler Eifert and Jermaine Gresham. Graham will challenge this defense like no other tight end, including Gonzalez, and we expect him to remain hot in all scoring formats.
