  • Josh Pederson TE | JAC

Jaguars' Josh Pederson: Elevated to active roster again

The Jaguars elevated Pederson to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's Week 14 game versus Cleveland.

Pederson will be active on game day for the second straight week. He was limited to special-teams work versus Cincinnati in Week 13 and could fill a similar role Sunday. His elevation comes as a result of third-string tight end Brenton Strange sitting out a second straight game due to a foot injury.

  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Appears in line to play Sunday

Johnson (quadricep) is expected to play in Sunday's game against Carolina, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Johnson was limited to a trio of limited practices this week due to a quad issue, but he looks like he'll be cleared to play upon the release of the Saints' inactive list, which will come out approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Meanwhile, the versatile Taysom Hill (foot/hand) is listed as questionable but trending toward sitting out the Week 14 contest, and with Michael Thomas (knee) on injured reserve and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) also likely to sit out, Johnson could see an expanded profile in the passing attack. Johnson hasn't been much of a contributor when healthy this season, surpassing 40 receiving yards just once over his eight games.

  • Durham Smythe TE | BAL

Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Cleared for Monday

Smythe (ankle) does not carry an injury designation and is cleared to play Monday against the Titans, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports

After not practicing Thursday, Smythe was able to participate both of the following days, which has cleared him for Week 14. The 28-year-old is the top tight end on his team but has been limited to 18 catches for 178 yards and zero touchdowns on the year as he serves mostly as a blocker on a team with dynamic receivers that get the bulk of the targets.

  • Lucas Krull TE | DEN

Broncos' Lucas Krull: Joins active roster

The Broncos elevated Krull to their active roster Saturday.

After playing 22 offensive snaps in Denver's Week 13 loss to the Texans, Krull has been elevated to the team's active roster once again. Krull has appeared in three games over the course of his two-year career, and he'll look to log his first NFL catch in Week 14.

  • Princeton Fant TE | DAL

Cowboys' Princeton Fant: Up from practice squad

Fant was elevated by the Cowboys from the practice squad Saturday, Dallas Cowboys Public Relations reports.

Fant saw a career-high 15 special teams snaps last week after being on the practice squad for the whole season. Expect the 24-year-old to once again participate solely on special teams with Peyton Hendershot (ankle) healthy.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Titans' Josh Whyle: Out for Monday night

Whyle (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday night's game against the Dolphins, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

The rookie tight end out of Cincinnati suffered a knee injury in Week 13, and he was unable to practice all week, so it's not surprising that he won't suit up for Monday night's affair. With Whyle missing Week 14, Trevon Wesco and Kevin Rader could see increased opportunities in the Titans' offense.

  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Activated off IR

Knox (wrist) was activated off injured reserve Saturday. He still remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Chiefs.

Knox didn't need to be activated off injured reserve just yet, so presumably the burly tight end will play Sunday, but the Bills have yet to confirm his game-time status. It'll be interesting to see the playing-time splits between Knox and dynamic rookie Dalton Kincaid, who blossomed into one of the team's top targets in the absence of multi-year starter.

  • Chargers' Stephen Anderson: Called up from practice squad

The Chargers elevated Anderson to the active roster Saturday.

This is the second time Anderson has been elevated this season after joining the Chargers' practice squad Nov. 15. His first call-up was Week 13 against the Patriots, when he played 17 snaps (15 on special teams and two on offense). Anderson will likely resume a role on special teams if he plays Sunday against the Bears, as Nick Vannett is returning from a concussion.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Listed as questionable for Monday

Bellinger (illness) is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup against the Packers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

Bellinger has registered close to 90 percent of the team's offensive snaps dating back to Week 8, so if he's unable to go it would be a major strain on the team's tight end depth. Expect Lawrence Cager to receive the bulk of the opportunities if the 23-year-old is unable to play.

  • Steelers' Darnell Washington: Held to 12 yards in defeat

Washington secured one of two targets for 12 yards during the Steelers' 21-18 loss to the Patriots on Thursday.

Washington wasn't targeted during last week's loss to Arizona, but he racked up double-digit receiving yards for the third time this season during Thursday's loss. Despite his reception Thursday, the rookie third-rounder should have minimal fantasy relevance to close out the year.
