Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Questionable, but likely to play
Knox (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Knox will need to be activated from injured reserve before Saturday at 4 p.m. ET in order to be eligible to play Sunday, but head coach Sean McDermott said earlier Friday that the tight end has a good chance of returning to action. He logged a third consecutive full practice Friday, putting him on a path to end his five-game absence prior to the Bills' Week 13 bye. If available Sunday, however, Knox may have to settle for a smaller role than he held prior to undergoing wrist surgery. Rookie Dalton Kincaid has produced a 31-281-2 receiving line over the Bills' last five games to make a case for a greater share of the snaps at tight end.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Doubtful to face Ravens
Higbee (neck) is doubtful for Sunday's game at Baltimore, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official website reports.
Higbee was forced out of last Sunday's win over the Browns and diagnosed with a neck stinger. He hasn't been practicing this week and is now likely to be replaced by some combination of Hunter Long, Davis Allen and Brycen Hopkins at tight end. The best bet for playing time and targets would seem to be Long, who took 33 percent of snaps last week. Meanwhile, Allen played just two percent of snaps and Hopkins was a healthy inactive.

Stephen Sullivan TE | CAR
Panthers' Stephen Sullivan: Questionable despite full practice
Sullivan (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints after logging a full practice Friday.
Sullivan followed the same practice schedule as safety Vonn Bell (shoulder), but while Bell was removed from the injury report entirely, Sullivan will carry a questionable tag into Sunday's game. If Sullivan suits up, he could see increased playing time with Hayden Hurst (concussion) ruled out and Tommy Tremble (hip) questionable.

Tommy Tremble TE | CAR
Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Questionable after full practice
Tremble (hip) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at New Orleans.
The upgrade to full participation after limited practices Wednesday and Thursday suggests Tremble will return after missing one game. Hayden Hurst (concussion) has been ruled out for again, potentially leaving Tremble to handle upwards of three-fourths of Carolina's offensive snaps if he's not on the inactive list ahead of the Panthers' 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. Tremble hasn't seen many targets even when he's played a lot this year, but he does have three of Carolina's 11 receiving TDs among his 13 receptions.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Texans' Dalton Schultz: Not practicing Friday
Schultz (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
After logging a limited practice Wednesday, Schultz didn't practice Thursday, so his apparent absence from Friday's session is concerning. If the tight end is ruled out ahead of Sunday's contest against the Jets, Brevin Jordan would be in line to serve as Houston's top tight end for the second week in a row.

Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Panthers' Hayden Hurst: Out for another week
Hurst (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at New Orleans.
Hurst returned to practice Wednesday and remained a limited participant throughout the week, but he sounds like he could be in danger of missing time even beyond Week 14. A recent social media post by his father revealed that Hurst was diagnosed with post-traumatic amnesia after taking a hard hit Nov. 9 against the Bears. Fellow tight ends Tommy Tremble (hip) and Stephen Sullivan (shoulder) are listed as questionable this week, but both seem likely to play after practicing fully Friday.

Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Likely to play, barring setback
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Knox (wrist) has a "good chance" to be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game in Kansas City, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Knox has been practicing without limitations since he was designated for return from injured reserve Wednesday, a transaction that opened a 21-day window for the tight end to be evaluated in practice. Assuming he checks out fine following another full practice Friday, Knox will likely be officially reinstated from IR on Saturday. Before missing the Bills' last five games while recovering from right wrist surgery, Knox produced a 15-102-1 receiving line on 28 targets through the first seven weeks of the season.

Brenton Strange TE | JAC
Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Unlikely to face Browns
Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Strange (foot) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Browns, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Strange couldn't play Monday versus the Bengals, and he will now likely have to miss a second straight contest. If Strange can't play Sunday, his next chance to take the field will come Week 15 versus Baltimore.

Mike Gesicki TE | CIN
Patriots' Mike Gesicki: No targets in Week 14
Gesicki was on the field for 19 of a possible 57 snaps on offense in Thursday's 21-18 win over the Steelers, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Gesicki has back-to-back games without a target and three in a row without any catches. He's been playing fewer snaps than both Hunter Henry and Pharaoh Brown, with any hope for fantasy relevance down the stretch likely depending on Henry missing time. Henry played 88 percent of snaps and caught two touchdown passes Thursday night, so he should be fine to handle his usual starting role Week 15 against Kansas City.

Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT
Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Quiet night in loss
Freiermuth brought in three of seven targets for 18 yards and also recorded a two-point conversion catch in the Steelers' 21-18 loss to the Patriots on Thursday night.
Mitch Trubisky's struggles with efficiency Thursday impacted Freiermuth, with the tight end finishing with his fifth sub-20-yard tally of the campaign in the process. Freiermuth did manage to boost his overall fantasy production to a modest degree with his two-point conversion reception following the Steelers' final touchdown of the night in the fourth quarter. However, he remains very hard to trust due to Pittsburgh's quarterback issues heading into a Week 15 road matchup against the Colts on Saturday, Dec. 16.
