Jets' C.J. Uzomah: Downgraded to out

Uzomah (knee) is out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Falcons.

The tight end exited early in the game before recording a stat. Uzomah has eight catches for 58 yards and a touchdown in 2023.

  • Brycen Hopkins TE | LAR

Rams' Brycen Hopkins: Won't play Sunday

Hopkins (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

This is the second straight week Hopkins has been a healthy inactive after he served as the No. 2 tight end behind Tyler Higbee before then. Davis Allen and Hunter Long are set to fill in as the backup tight ends behind Higbee for Sunday's contest.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Set to play Week 13

Calcaterra (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Calcaterra was able to log a limited session Friday after missing the previous two practices. Calcaterra and Jack Stoll will serve as the primary tight ends for Sunday's game with Dallas Goedert (forearm) ruled out.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Inactive Sunday, as expected

Goedert (forearm) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Goedert will miss a third consecutive contest due to the broken right forearm that he suffered Week 9, but he made notable progress in his recovery effort during Week 13 prep, catching passes on the side Thursday before returning to practice as a limited participant Friday. With Goedert sidelined, Jack Stoll and Grant Calcaterra (ankle) will handle most of the tight end reps for the Eagles, while Albert Okwuegbunam is on hand for his typical handful of snaps. Goedert will set his sights on returning to action next Sunday night at Dallas.

  • Chris Manhertz TE | NYG

Broncos' Chris Manhertz: Returns to game

Manhertz came back in late in the first half Sunday against the Texans after exiting with a shoulder injury earlier in the half, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

The backup tight end does not have a catch yet in the game. Manhertz has two catches for 16 yards and no touchdowns in 2023.

  • Tommy Tremble TE | CAR

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Sitting out Sunday

Tremble (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

With Hayden Hurst embedded in the concussion protocol and Tremble also sidelined Sunday, the Panthers will roll with Ian Thomas and Stephen Sullivan as their tight ends. Tremble managed just one limited practice during Week 13 prep, so he likely will need to increase his activity level in order to have a chance to play next Sunday at New Orleans.

  • Chris Manhertz TE | NYG

Broncos' Chris Manhertz: Questionable to return

Manhertz has a shoulder injury and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Texans, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

The backup tight end did not make a catch before exiting. Manhertz has two catches for 16 yards and no touchdowns in 2023.

  • C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI

Jets' C.J. Uzomah: Exits with knee issue

Uzomah (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Falcons, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Uzomah seems to have sustained a knee injury early into the Jets' Week 13 contest, and Jeremy Ruckert will likely see increased offensive snaps for the time being.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Unlikely to play

Goedert (forearm) will not play in Week 13 against the Niners, Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday.

We'll await for the official word 90 minutes before kickoff from the Eagles, but this should come as no surprise, with Goedert being listed as doubtful coming in.

  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

    Dolphins' Tyler Kroft: Inactive Sunday

Kroft (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

The Dolphins are keeping their first three tight ends, Durham Smythe, Julian Hill and Tanner Conner, active for the matchup instead. Kroft played six offensive snaps in Miami's Week 12 win over the Jets, his highest total of the season. The ninth-year pro does not have a catch in 2023.
