  • Durham Smythe TE | BAL

Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Not available for Week 11

Smythe (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Despite having the benefit of a Week 10 bye to heal up from the ankle injury, Smythe will end up sitting out Sunday's contest after he had previously been listed as questionable heading into the weekend following a pair of limited practices Thursday and Friday. With Smythe sidelined, the Dolphins will be left with Julian Hill and Tyler Kroft as their options at tight end for Week 11.

  • Cole Turner TE | MIA

Commanders' Cole Turner: Will suit up Sunday

Turner is active for Sunday's Week 11 clash with the Giants.

Turner was a healthy scratch both Week 8 and Week 10 but will be available to face New York on Sunday. The tight end had four catches on seven targets for 35 yards Week 2 versus Buffalo but has compiled only four catches for 47 yards combined across the other seven contests during which he has been active. Turner's role will likely remain limited as long as top TE Logan Thomas is healthy.

  • Ian Thomas TE | LV

Panthers' Ian Thomas: Active for Week 11

Thomas (calf) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official website reports.

Thomas was activated from injured reserve Saturday and he will officially make his return from the calf injury that has sidelined him for four weeks. The 27-year-old could operate with a slightly larger workload Sunday with Hayden Hurst (concussion) unavailable at tight end.

  • Curtis Hodges TE | CAR

Commanders' Curtis Hodges: Will sit out again Week 11

Hodges (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Hodges has yet to see game action this season but remains on Washington's 53-man roster. It's unlikely that he'll make his NFL debut while Logan Thomas, John Bates and Cole Turner are healthy and ahead of him on the TE depth chart.

  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Making return Week 11

Freiermuth (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Browns, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Freiermuth is back in action Week 11 after he missed the Steelers' last five games with a hamstring injury. Before being reinstated from injured reserve Saturday, Freiermuth turned in full practices Thursday and Friday, so he's unlikely to face any major restrictions as he steps back into the lineup as the Steelers' top tight end. Freiermuth supplied an 8-53-2 receiving line on 13 targets in his first four appearances of the season before missing time with the hamstring issue.

  • Panthers' Stephen Sullivan: Ready to go Sunday

Sullivan (shoulder) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official website reports.

Sullivan is ready to go for Week 11 after being slowed by a shoulder injury at practice this week. The 26-year-old will operate as a depth option behind Tommy Tremble at tight end Sunday.

  • Tyree Jackson TE | WAS

Giants' Tyree Jackson: Elevated again for Week 11

The Giants elevated Jackson from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jackson saw his first game action of the campaign last Sunday against Dallas, but he didn't record any stats over 12 offensive snaps. His opportunity has come as a result of Darren Waller (hamstring) landing on IR, but Jackson isn't likely to put up fantasy-worthy numbers given the Giants' woeful passing game and his place on the TE depth chart behind Daniel Bellinger and Lawrence Cager.

  • Ian Thomas TE | LV

Panthers' Ian Thomas: Activated from IR

The Panthers activated Thomas (calf) from injured reserve Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Thomas has sat out Carolina's past four contests while on IR with a calf injury. He was designated to return Monday and practiced in full Friday after logging limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. Thomas' potential return is timely, with Hayden Hurst set to miss Week 11 due to a concussion.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Logs full week of practice

Calcaterra (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Monday night's game against Kansas City, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Calcaterra had no limitations in practice this week, and it now seems as if he's had enough time to move past his concussion. The second-year tight end has the opportunity to see an increased workload, with Dallas Goedert (forearm) out for Monday night's contest.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Officially ruled out vs. Chiefs

Goedert (forearm) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Chiefs.

Goedert was already considered highly unlikely to play Monday after fracturing his right forearm in the Eagles' Week 9 win over Dallas, so it comes as little surprise that he's ultimately been ruled out for Philadelphia's first game coming out of a Week 10 bye. He didn't practice in any capacity this week, but Brooks Kubena of The Athletic relays that head coach Nick Sirianni expressed optimism that the tight end would be able to return before missing three more games. As a result, the Eagles have not placed him on injured reserve. Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra and perhaps Albert Okwuegbunam will see expanded reps at tight end until Goedert is ready to return to the field.
