    Commanders' Zach Ertz: Ruled out of Sunday's game

    Ertz won't return to Sunday's game in Minnesota due to a knee injury.

    Ertz took a hit to his knee on a Marcus Mariota incompletion directed his way in the third quarter. After visiting the sideline tent, Ertz was carted to the locker room and ruled out not long afterward. This appears to be a potentially serious injury, but for the time being he'll finish Week 14 with one catch (on two targets) for 11 yards.

    Commanders' Zach Ertz: Exits with leg injury

    Ertz was carted off the field with a lower leg injury in Sunday's game at Minnesota, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

    Ertz was hit hard in his knee area during a tackle and had to be helped off the field. He later left on a cart to the locker room.

  • Steelers' Darnell Washington: Won't return Sunday

    Washington (concussion) won't return to Sunday's game against the Ravens. Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.

    Washington, who caught his only target in the contest for 12 yards, will thus target a potential return to action Dec. 15 against the Dolphins. Jonnu Smith, Pat Freiermuth and Connor Heyward are left to handle Pittsburgh's TE duties for the remainder of Week 14 action.

    Browns' David Njoku: Back on the field Sunday

    Njoku (knee) returned to the field during Sunday's game against the Titans, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

    After getting his knee checked out, Njoku has returned from the locker room, thus bolstering a Cleveland TE corps that also includes Harold Fannin and Blake Whiteheart.

    Washington is being evaluated for a possible concussion during Sunday's game against the Ravens, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.

    Before exiting the contest, Washington caught his only target for 12 yards. While he's unavailable, Jonnu Smith, Pat Freiermuth and Connor Heyward are left to handle Pittsburgh's TE duties on Sunday.

    Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Exits with knee injury

    Arroyo (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Falcons.

    Arroyo is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Nick Kallerup is poised to see more snaps on offense as the Seahawks' TE2 behind AJ Barner for as long as Arroyo is out of the game.

    Browns' David Njoku: Hurts knee Sunday

    Njoku exited Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury.

    Prior to his departure from the contest, Njoku caught his only target for a one-yard TD. While he's sidelined, Harold Fannin and Blake Whiteheart are available to handle Cleveland's TE duties.

    Jaguars' Johnny Mundt: Healthy scratch Week 14

    Mundt (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Indianapolis.

    Mundt is healthy, but he's going to miss his first game of the season. The veteran tight end has produced eight catches on 17 targets for 95 yards through 12 games on the campaign. Mundt appears to be fourth in the Jaguars' tight-end pecking order behind Brenton Strange, Quintin Morris and Hunter Long.

    Mitchell-Paden (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

    Mitchell-Paden will be a healthy inactive for a second consecutive game. His next chance to play is Week 15 against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 14, though he's unlikely to play in that contest unless Juwan Johnson, Taysom Hill, Foster Moreau or Jack Stoll were to miss time.

    Jets' Jelani Woods: Won't play Week 14

    Woods (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

    The Dolphins will go with three active tight ends in Mason Taylor, Jeremy Ruckert and Stone Smartt for Sunday's AFC East clash. Woods' next chance to play is Week 14 against the Jaguars on Sunday, Dec. 14, but he's unlikely to play in that game unless the Jets require additional depth at tight end.
