Dalton Keene TE | HOU
Dalton Keene: Cut before camp
Keene was waived by the Eagles on Wednesday.
Philadelphia let the tight end go six months after signing him to a reserve/future contract. Keene spent time on the practice squad with the Eagles and Broncos during the 2022 season. The 2020 third-round selection of New England is now a free agent as training camps get underway.

Cole Kmet TE | CHI
Bears' Cole Kmet: Inks big four-year extension
Kmet agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract extension with the Bears on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Kmet's new deal reportedly includes $32.8 million guaranteed and $20 million in new first-year cash, a nice payday for the 2020 second-round pick. The move provides some additional surrounding stability for budding star Justin Fields, who showed a solid rapport with Kmet in 2022, as the tight end compiled a 50-544-7 receiving line in 17 contests. Chicago added Robert Tonyan to the tight end room this offseason, but Kmet's extension is a clear sign that the team is committed to him as its top option at the position in the long term.

Kyle Pitts TE | ATL
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Practicing with brace on
Pitts (knee) practiced Wednesday while wearing a brace on his right knee, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Pitts was able to run routes Wednesday, though it's unclear if he'll be a full participant once the Falcons start holding full-contact practices. The uber-talented tight end is entering his third season in the NFL and will have his third different Week 1 quarterback in Desmond Ridder in 2023, assuming Pitts can gain 100 percent clearance from knee surgery by the end of the preseason.

Kyle Pitts TE | ATL
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Set to practice Wednesday
Head coach Arthur Smith said that Pitts (knee) will be on the practice field Wednesday, Justin Felder of Fox 5 Atlanta reports.
Pitts will dress for the Falcons' first session of training camp, though he may not be a full participant quite yet. The 2021 first-round pick didn't take part in minicamp due to his ongoing recovery from right MCL surgery, an injury which limited him to just 10 appearances last season. Progressing through training camp without any setbacks would bode well for Pitts, whom fantasy managers are hoping can establish chemistry with quarterback Desmond Ridder and truly break out in Year 3.

Andrew Ogletree TE | IND
Colts' Andrew Ogletree: Limited to begin training camp
Ogletree (knee) will be limited to begin training camp, general manager Chris Ballard told the team's official web site Tuesday.
Ogletree, who tore his ACL during training camp last season, didn't participate in any offseason workouts. However, he was seen sprinting during a charity softball game Saturday. It's a positive sign that he didn't begin training camp on the PUP list. The 24-year-old showed some promise last season, but he faces a crowded tight end position in camp this summer.
-
Armani Rogers TE | BUF
Commanders' Armani Rogers: Placed on IR
Rogers (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve by the Commanders on Tuesday, Zach Selby of Washington's official site reports.
Rogers suffered a torn Achilles in May and he will now spend the entirety of the 2023 campaign on the sidelines. The 25-year-old was set to compete for depth spot behind Logan Thomas at tight end this season, but the likes of John Bates, Cole Turner and Curtis Hodges will now vie for the top reserve spot.
-
Miller Forristall TE | LAR
Miller Forristall: Cut loose by Saints
Forristall was waived by New Orleans on Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Footballreports.
Forristall started camp on the PUP list but was cleared after passing a physical Monday. The 25-year-old spent the previous two seasons with Cleveland, appearing in just six games. He'll now need to find a new opportunity.

Tanner Conner TE | NYG
Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Heads to active/PUP list
The Dolphins placed Conner (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.
The severity of Conner's injury remains unclear, but he's eligible to practice and/or play at any point during the preseason. As a rookie UDFA last year, Conner made 13 appearances but mostly operated on special teams and failed to catch any of his three targets across 22 offensive snaps.
-
Jace Sternberger TE | BUF
Bills' Jace Sternberger: Signs with Buffalo
Sternberger signed a one-year deal with the Bills on Tuesday.
Sternberger will now officially head to Buffalo for the 2023 season, after it was first reported that he was supposed to sign there on Monday. The 27-year-old has caught just 12 passes (16 targets) for 114 yards and a touchdown in 18 games throughout his four-year career and will likely be competing for a depth spot behind Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid.

Teagan Quitoriano TE | ARI
Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Placed on active/PUP list
The Texans placed Quitoriano (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.
A 2022 fifth-round pick out of Oregon State, Quitoriano appeared in nine games as a rookie and caught seven of 14 targets for 113 yards and two touchdowns. The severity of the 6-foot-6 tight end's injury remains unclear, but he's eligible to practice and/or play at any point during the preseason. When healthy, Quitoriano will compete with Brevin Jordan for backup snaps behind Dalton Schultz.
