  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Stays limited at practice

Davis (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.

With Davis and Brian Thomas (chest) both having logged back-to-back limited sessions, Friday's practice looms large for the duo in terms of their status for Sunday's game against the Eagles. In the wake of losing Christian Kirk for the season with a broken left collarbone, the Jaguars will need to lean heavily on Davis and Thomas going forward, pending their availability.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Another limited practice

Thomas (chest) remained limited at practice Thursday.

As did Gabe Davis (shoulder), which puts the focus on what the duo is able to do at practice Friday in terms of the composition of the Jaguars' Week 9 wideout corps, which will be without Christian Kirk, who is is out for the season with a collarbone injury. Thomas will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's game against the Eagles without an injury designation.

  • Commanders' Olamide Zaccheaus: Reps capped in Thursday's practice

Zaccheaus (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.

Zaccheaus' practice reps were capped for the second day in a row, and he'll likely need to advance to full participation Friday to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game against the Giants. If available for the Week 9 contest, Zaccheaus will likely represent a secondary option in the Washington passing game behind wideouts Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown and tight end Zach Ertz. Zaccheaus has yet to find the end zone in eight appearances this season and has been held under 30 receiving yards in all but one of those outings.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: Churns out full practice

Ridley (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.

Ridley's return to a full practice a day after sitting out Wednesday's session indicating that his shoulder injury won't be anything that keeps him from playing this Sunday against the Patriots. The 29-year-old wideout has endured a tough first season in Tennessee, but he turned in his best game to date in the Titans' 52-14 loss to Detroit this past Sunday, when he recorded 10 catches for 143 yards on 15 targets. Ridley generated the big line while Mason Rudolph was under center for Tennessee, but the veteran receiver could be operating in Week 9 with Will Levis (shoulder) as his quarterback. Levis has missed the Titans' last two games and remains a limited participant in practice, but head coach Brian Callahan has suggested that the starting job will belong to Levis once he's fully healthy.

  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Limited in Thursday's practice

Hill was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a foot injury, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

On the Dolphins' first Week 9 injury report issued Wednesday, Hill's absence from practice was attributed to rest, but a day later, the team is citing a lingering foot injury as the reason behind the wideout's reps being capped. Assuming Hill's limitations Thursday were maintenance-related and not the result of him aggravating the lingering foot issue during practice, he should be fine to handle a full snap load in this Sunday's game in Buffalo. However, whether or not Hill carries a designation into that contest may hinge on what he's able to do at Friday's practice.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Limited in return to practice

Wilson (hip) was limited in practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

While Wilson bumped up from being a non-participant at Wednesday's session, fellow WR Bub Means continued to sit out due to a high-ankle sprain. Among the duo, Wilson thus appears to be the better bet to be available Sunday at Carolina, but Friday's injury report may provide a sense of his odds to suit up for that contest.

  • Bub Means WR | NO

Saints' Bub Means: No practice Thursday

Means (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

With a high-ankle sprain in tow, Means' lack of activity so far this week isn't unexpected, and the Saints could potentially make a ruling on his status for Sunday's game at Carolina as soon as they post Friday's injury report. With Rashid Shaheed (knee) out for the season and Cedrick Wilson (hip) also nicked up this week, Chris Olave, Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson are the healthy wide receivers on New Orleans' active roster.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Jets' Allen Lazard: Officially placed on IR

The Jets have placed Lazard (chest) on IR, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

As a result, the soonest Lazard can return to action is Sunday, Dec. 8 against the Dolphins. While Lazard is sidelined, Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Mike Williams will continue to lead the Jets' wideout corps, with Xavier Gipson, Irvin Charles and Malachi Corley in reserve.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Submits full practice

Pittman (back) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Pittman sat out Wednesday's session, but his ability to log every rep in practice a day later clears up any concern about his status heading into Sunday's contest versus the Vikings. After signing a three-year, $70 million extension with the Colts in March, Pittman has slumped to a 29-352-2 receiving line on 53 targets through the team's first eight games, but his fantasy outlook should be rosier moving forward after head coach Shane Steichen announced that Joe Flacco will replace Anthony Richardson as the starting quarterback. While Flacco made two starts and an extended appearance off the bench in place of an injured Richardson from Weeks 4 through 6, Pittman produced 14 catches for 185 yards and scored both of his touchdowns on the season.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Bills' Amari Cooper: Logs another limited practice

Cooper (wrist) remained limited at practice Thursday.

Cooper also was limited Wednesday, with the wideout now having one more chance to practice fully ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Friday's injury report will clarify whether Cooper heads into the weekend with a Week 9 injury designation or fully cleared to face Miami.
