Sterling Shepard WR | TB
Buccaneers' Sterling Shepard: Three grabs in loss
Shepard secured three of five targets for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Shepard's production didn't see a boost despite the absences of Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and the fact he logged a robust 45 snaps (62 percent). The veteran wideout does have plenty of familiarity with Baker Mayfield from their college days and has shown some flashes this season, but his production will remain hard to trust in a tough Week 9 road matchup against the defending champion Chiefs next Monday night.

Jalen Reagor WR | LAC
Jalen Reagor: Returns to practice squad
Reagor reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Reagor caught both of his targets for 35 yards while playing 20 of the team's 66 total offensive snaps in their 26-8 win over New Orleans in Week 8. Additionally, he added a 22-yard kick return while playing three snaps on special teams. If Quentin Johnston (ankle) remains unavailable Sunday versus the Browns, Reagor will likely be elevated again in Week 9.

Equanimeous St. Brown WR | SF
Equanimeous St. Brown: Returns to practice squad
St. Brown reverted to New Orleans' practice squad Monday.
St. Brown didn't record any stats during Sunday's matchup versus the Chargers despite seeing an increased role with Cedrick Wilson (hip) out. St. Brown will now wait for his next chance to be elevated for a game.

Jaylen Johnson WR | LAC
Jaylen Johnson: Reverts to practice squad
Johnson reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Johnson failed to record any stats while playing one snap on offense and three snaps with the special-teams unit in the team's 26-8 win over the Saints in Week 8. The wide receiver can be elevated two more times before Los Angeles would have to officially sign him to the 53-man roster.

Jahan Dotson WR | ATL
Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in Week 8
Dotson was not targeted in Sunday's 37-17 win over Cincinnati.
The Eagles prioritized the run on Sunday, especially after opening up a second-half lead, with Jalen Hurts attempting just 20 passes. As usual, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith soaked up most of the targets, with other Eagles combining for just six, none of which went to Dotson. The third-year wideout has just six catches in seven games this season.

Montrell Washington WR | NYG
Montrell Washington: Returns to practice squad
Washington reverted to Kansas City's practice squad Monday.
Washington saw his first action of the season in the Week 8 win over the Raiders but failed to record any offensive stats across the five snaps he played. His only touch came on special teams, where he returned a kickoff for 14 yards. Washington will now wait for his next opportunity to be elevated.

Jaelon Darden WR | SEA
Jaelon Darden: Reverts to practice squad
Darden reverted to the Browns' practice squad Monday.
Darden didn't record any offensive stats across four snaps played, but he did contribute on special teams as he returned three punts for 36 yards. The 25-year-old has now been elevated for the maximum amount of three games and will have to be signed to the active roster if he's to play again for the Browns this season.

Jalen Virgil WR | BUF
Jalen Virgil: Back with practice squad
Virgil reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Virgil was elevated to the active roster ahead of Week 8 versus the Seahawks, making his team debut in the team's 31-10 win. The wide receiver failed to produce any stats while playing 11 of the team's 76 offensive snaps and 10 snaps on special teams. Virgil can be elevated two more times before he'd have to be signed to the 53-man roster.

DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Could be back for Week 9
With regard to the chances of Metcalf (knee) being able to play this coming Sunday against the Rams, head coach Mike Macdonald relayed Monday that it's "looking optimistic," Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
The Seahawks plan to see how Metcalf looks when he's able return to practice and then go from there, but at this stage it looks like the wideout has a chance to play this weekend after being inactive Week 8. In Metcalf's absence in Seattle's loss to the Bills, Jake Bobo saw added snaps alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett.

Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Expected back after bye
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Jennings (hip) is expected to return following San Francisco's Week 9 bye, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Jennings missed Weeks 7 and 8 with the hip issue, and the team could really use him with Brandon Aiyuk (knee) done for the season, Chris Conley (hamstring) week-to-week and Deebo Samuel coming off pneumonia and now dealing with oblique and rib strains. Once he's back, Jennings is expected to take on a full-time role for the remainder of the season.
