Palmer (concussion) is active for Monday's game against the Ravens.

Palmer has suffered and recovered from two concussions over the last two months, missing Weeks 5 and 6 in the process. Even before his most recent absence, though, he gathered in only four of six targets for 45 yards and one touchdown in four appearances this season. Working in a receiving corps with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin doesn't leave much in terms of passes from QB Baker Mayfield for others, but Palmer at least will be back in action Monday, vying with Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard for looks behind the top duo.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Monday that Aiyuk sustained tears to the ACL and MCL in his right knee during Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Aiyuk will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the season, ending it with 25 catches (on 47 targets) for 374 yards and no touchdowns in seven games. With Deebo Samuel suffering from pneumonia, Jauan Jennings dealing with a hip issue and Chris Conley tending to a sprained ankle, the 49ers' current healthy wide receivers on the active roster are Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell.

Dotson finished with zero catches on one target in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants.

The Eagles were in control for most of the game and had enough success on the ground (269 yards) that they barely needed to rely on their passing attack, with Jalen Hurts throwing for just 114 yards on 14 attempts. The Eagles rested their starters in the fourth quarter, and while that meant more time on the field for Dotson, the team continued to rely on the ground game, with backup quarterback Kenny Pickett attempting just a single pass.

Coach Brian Callahan said Monday that Hopkins is dealing with some lower leg soreness following Sunday's loss to the Bills, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Hopkins played 60 percent of the offensive snaps against Buffalo, down from his 71 percent mark the previous week, and he finished the day with one catch for minus-2 yards on one target. It was a game to forget for the 32-year-old wideout. His practice reps could be limited some this week ahead of a Week 8 date with the Lions on Sunday.

The Saints signed Valdes-Scantling on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

In the wake of losing Rashid Shaheed for the season due to a torn meniscus last week, the Saints were in the market for help at wide receiver, both in the short and long term. No. 1 receiver Chris Olave remains in the concussion protocol, leaving Mason Tipton, Bub Means and Cedrick Wilson as the healthy options at the position prior to the addition of Valdes-Scantling. Before getting cut by the Bills last Tuesday, the veteran wideout had hauled in two of nine targets for 26 yards in six appearances this season.

The Eagles placed Ross (undisclosed) on their practice-squad injured list Monday.

The 2017 first-round pick has appeared in one game for Philadelphia this season, catching one of his two targets for six yards across 11 offensive snaps. After being placed on the Eagles' practice-squad injured list, Ross will be forced to miss the team's next four games, with his earliest possible return coming in Week 12 against the Rams.

Chark (groin) wasn't activated from injured reserve ahead of Monday night's game against the Cardinals.

After his 21-day practice window was opened Wednesday, Chark logged limited practice listings Thursday through Saturday before approaching Week 7 action listed as questionable. With his regular-season debut on hold, Chark's next chance to see game action will arrive Sunday against the Saints.

Whittington (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Per Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site, coach Sean McVay noted Monday that Whittington being limited to nine snaps on offense versus the Raiders on Sunday was a result of the wideout not being able to practice a lot last week due to his shoulder injury. With that in mind, McVay added that he hopes Whittington will have "a little bit more of a workload" Thursday night against the Vikings.

Kupp (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Monday's practice estimate, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Kupp thus is on pace to play Thursday night against the Vikings, with Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site having previously relayed Monday that coach Sean McVay noted that the wideout's workload for the contest is "to be determined." Look for added context on that front to arrive in the next couple of days, but Kupp's looming return to the lineup should provide a huge boost to a pass-catching corps that still is without Puka Nacua (knee).

Aiyuk reportedly suffered ACL and MCL tears in his right knee during Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Look for confirmation of the report, either way, to arrive from the 49ers later Monday, but Aiyuk appears destined for injured reserve as a result of his knee injury. In Aiyuk's looming absence, Deebo Samuel (illness) and Jauan Jennings (hip) are in line to lead the 49ers' WR corps going forward, with 2024 first-rounder Ricky Pearsall also likely to see an expanded role in the team's passing offense.
