Head coach Jesse Minter said Saturday that Flowers is considered day-to-day due to a quad contusion that he sustained during training camp practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Flowers was looked at by trainers after his left leg collided with Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers didn't practice for the rest of the day, but the positive news is that he has avoided a serious injury and should be back at practice over the coming week. His absence will allow veteran Chris Moore and rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt to work more with the first-team offense alongside Rashod Bateman and Devontez Walker.

Flowers left Saturday's training camp practice early due to a left leg injury, Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Flowers sustained the injury when he collided with safety Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers was able to limp off the field under his own power but did not participate in the rest of Saturday's practice, and his status over the next few days will be closely monitored ahead of the Ravens' preseason opener against the Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 15. The 2023 first-rounder inked a four-year contract extension worth up to $140 million earlier this week and is looking to build off a strong 2025 campaign, when he registered career highs in catches (86) and receiving yards (1,211) across 17 regular-season games.

Waddle worked on the side at Saturday's training camp practice and was not wearing a sleeve on his leg, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Waddle was sporting a sleeve on his left earlier in the week, and he looked to be running more easily since leaving Wednesday's practice due what was reported at the time as "some muscle tightness," per Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. There doesn't appear to be any long-term injury concern for Waddle, though he'll continue to have his practice reps limited and could see minimal action in exhibition games, with the Broncos' preseason opener taking place Friday against the Falcons. Marvin Mims (undisclosed) is also sidelined for Saturday's practice, so Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant and Lil'Jordan Humphrey are slated for more work with the first-team offense alongside Courtland Sutton.

Mims (undisclosed) is not participating in Saturday's training camp practice, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Mims appeared to sustain the injury while running a go route during Friday's practice, though the exact nature of his injury is unclear. He'll join Jaylen Waddle (leg) on the sidelines Saturday. With the duo sidelined, more first-team offense reps will be available for Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Michael Bandy. Tyler Badie, RJ Harvey and Bandy should also see some additional work as returners in special teams drills due to Mims' absence.

Burden left Saturday's training camp practice due to a lower-body injury, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun Times reports.

Burden sustained the injury after colliding awkwardly with Tyrique Stevenson during a one-on-one drill in Saturday's practice. Burden went with a trainer to the team's facilities to undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury. The 2025 second-rounder has been a standout in offseason programs and training camp and is lined up for an expanded role in his sophomore campaign following the departure of DJ Moore, who was traded by the Bears to the Bills in early March.

Downs did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice due to a groin injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

It's unclear when Downs picked up the injury or the severity of the issue, but his status will be worth monitoring over the coming week ahead of Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots. The 2023 third-rounder is lined up for an expanded role in the Colts' offense this season after Michael Pittman was traded to the Steelers in March. Downs is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he caught 58 passes (on 88 targets) for 566 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games.

Dell said, "I'm taking it one day at a time" when asked Friday about his potential availability for Week 1 of the regular season versus Buffalo, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN reports.

Dell practiced with pads Wednesday for the first time in training camp, though at this point he's limited to individual drills. The Texans have so far not committed to a timeframe for when Dell will be ready to play during the regular season, but the good news is that doctors have deemed his knee "100 percent stable." When Dell gets into a contest, it will be his first game action since he tore multiple knee ligaments and dislocated his kneecap against the Chiefs in Week 16 of the 2024 campaign.

The Steelers claimed Dowell off waivers from the 49ers on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dowell will get an opportunity to make an impression on the Steelers' coaching staff during training camp. He's unlikely to make the 53-man roster for the regular season, but a strong audition in training camp and preseason games could be enough for the 2023 seventh-rounder to stick around on the practice squad. He last saw NFL regular-season action during his rookie campaign with the Titans, when he caught one pass (on two targets) for three yards over 10 games while contributing mostly on special teams.

The Steelers waived Perry on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Perry joined Pittsburgh during the offseason on a reserve/future contract, but he's now on track to become a free agent again. His last regular-season action came back in 2023 with New Orleans.

The Jets waived Walthall (undisclosed) from injured reserve Friday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

With the injury settlement, Walthall will have the opportunity to play for a team in 2026 once he's fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. He's spent time with the Jets and Texans this offseason after not hearing his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft. Walthall spent his last two college seasons at Incarnate Word and finished the 2025 season with 70 catches for 847 yards and eight touchdowns over 10 games.
