The Lions removed Smith (undisclosed) off the active/non-football injury list Wednesday.

Just hours after being placed on Detroit's active/non-football injury list, Smith has been removed. He's now eligible to return to practice and participate in the Lions' training camp.

The Colts waived White on Wednesday.

White was picked up by the Colts after going undrafted earlier this offseason, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 24-year-old. White worked as a running back, wide receiver, and return man during his time at Texas Tech, and this unique skill set could help him find a job elsewhere.

The Colts agreed to terms with Treadwell on Wednesday.

After a five-game stint with Baltimore in 2023, Treadwell has found a new home in Indianapolis. The one-time first-round pick has played with five different teams over the last five seasons, with his best year coming in 2021, when he posted a 33-431-1 receiving line with the Jaguars. He's expected to compete for a depth role in the Colts' wide receiver room as the offseason progresses.

The Lions activated Peoples-Jones (undisclosed) off the active/non-football injury list Wednesday.

Peoples-Jones didn't miss much of training camp before getting healthy, and he's now been cleared to join his teammates on the practice field. The 2020 sixth-round pick is coming off the worst season of his NFL career, having played just 72 offensive snaps in 2023 across eight appearances. He appears set to battle for a roster spot during training camp and the preseason.

Shakir (lower body) participated in Buffalo's first training camp practice Wednesday, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.

The 2022 fifth-round pick suffered a minor injury during June minicamp but is still positioned for a key role in a revamped receiver corps that also includes veteran newcomers Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Chase Claypool, as well as rookie Keon Coleman. With Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis no longer around, Shakir is the only wideout on the roster who has caught a pass from quarterback Josh Allen in a regular-season game. Shakir logged a 39-611-2 receiving line on 45 targets over 17 regular-season games in 2023, then added 10 catches for 75 yards and two scores on 12 targets over two playoff contests.

The Eagles placed Davis (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

There's no word on the nature or severity of Davis' injury as of now, but the 24-year-old is still eligible to practice or play at any point throughout the preseason. Davis spent most of his 2023 campaign on the Saints' practice squad injured list, and he'll fight for a depth role in the Eagles' wide receiver room once he returns to full health.

Olave (shoulder) participated Wednesday in the first day of Saints training camp without limitations, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Olave's involvement in practice means that he's passed his physical and has been activated from the active/non-football injury list, while his lack of limitations is an indication that he's fully over the shoulder issue that relegated him to a non-contact jersey during spring activities. The Saints' No. 1 wideout will work to solidify his chemistry with Derek Carr throughout training camp, with the hope of making a true Year 3 leap. A healthier season from Carr could be all Olave needs to upgrade his production in new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's scheme.

Aiyuk is present at training camp Wednesday but isn't dressed for practice, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Though he's reported from training camp, Aiyuk looks to be "holding in" and thus abstaining from team drills as he continues to look for a contract extension. Coming off a breakout season in which he put up a 75-1,342-7 receiving line on 105 targets in 15 games, Aiyuk has expressed frustration with the fact that he remains without a long-term deal, and he went so far as to officially request a trade prior to the start of camp. Still, considering Aiyuk's lack of leverage, the most likely outcome remains that he plays out the 2024 season in a 49ers uniform, whether on the fifth-year option on his rookie contract or a new deal.

Campbell opened training camp Wednesday as the No. 3 receiver with Philadelphia's first-team offense, Bradon Lee Gowton of BleedingGreenNation.com reports.

While it's no surprise to see the sixth-year pro getting the first crack at the job, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni made it clear that the No. 3 receiver role will be open competition. Rookies Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson should also get their chances, and 28-year-old speed demon John Ross is a dark-horse candidate for the gig after coming out of retirement. Campbell had only 104 receiving yards in 12 games for the Giants last season and now finds himself in Philadelphia on a one-year contract with less than $500,000 guaranteed.
